Chapter 226
Even the two strongest members of the big four dared not fight Alex. It was just too humiliating!
“Dean Hall and Wilder Briggs have improved far more than before... it was really shocking to realize that they dare not face Alex head on” Danny said with a slight frown.
Alex’s ability to absorb all forms of matter can be considered a cheat code but that’s not what makes him strong. That can only improve his overall strength but the true test of strength depends on the martial techniques he practices and his deviant ability.
He sincerely believed that Alex wasn’t strong because of his abilities. He simply believed that Alex was strong because he was Alex.
If anyone else was given his abilities they won’t be as successful and powerful as he is right now. While he couldn’t voice it out, he sincerely felt that if he were in Alex’s position, he wouldn’t have risen this far. It was obvious because he once had abilities like this and similar opportunities to Alex but he hasn’t gone far.
......
With Alex teleported directly to the council tower, his subordinates ended up meeting with the elders straight up. At first, it was awkward but seeing how confident Alex was when he spoke about them, they couldn’t help but believe him. While the cultivation realm of these people was low their skills weren’t!
These people even with their low cultivation fought against the world for so long with only one casualty. That alone could attest to their skills but that was not what surprised Alex
.....
Alex was more surprised by the fact that they were only SS-rated like before since they lacked the resources to make the jump. Yet with Vendetta’s upgrade ability, they could temporarily push this power to the Baron level. With that level of strength, they ambushed seized, and attacked numerous forces both owned by humans and Danites. With just a small team, they all of this off with little to no resources.
These people are truly amazing!
Alex spoke to them a bit and had a touching moment with his brother Damon before leaving. He could feel the immense happiness Damon felt when he realized Alex was not dead. For more than a decade now he left the amazing life he had and joined the resistance and began battling against the world. He sat there in silence, not daring to say a word since he didn’t know how to respond.
While Alex may be happy to see his brother, he wasn’t too touchy as Damon. He left and returned to the underground chamber where the purple meteor was located. Without hesitation, Alex used his gravity ability to lift the meteor over His head. His eyes turned bright blue as a powerful suction force erupted, pulling the visible blue energy into his body.
Without hesitation, Alex began casting the golden statue technique.
Everyone watched in shock as blue energy surged into his body from all sides and the golden armor began forming around him but this time it looked different. It wasn’t just any normal golden armor but with was fierce and wavy like flames
“Martial art!; Sun deity” Alex said in an empty tone.
After pushing the golden statue over the Baron level he gained the sun deity form but this was nothing when compared to what it is supposed to be. Right now he could feel he has reached a bottleneck and he can never make another breakthrough. It became clear that from this point on, he can’t just rely on the matter absorption ability to help him cultivate fast.
He didn’t what to tell the elders or anyone why he made a decision to broadcast his actions across the universe to get the attention of the alliance. He was searching for the actual races that have the Demon-kin and Golden statue secret techniques. If he ever stands a chance of progressing in his martial technique it has to be under the guidance of people who were born with it. The thought of this is very troublesome since it puts him at a disadvantage when he decides to negotiate with them.
Right now all he can do is to train His gravity ability and energy revolver ability. As long as he can rise with their two he should be able to pilot his seed easily.
“You don’t plan to come out or should I drive you out myself?” Alex said frowning while his piercing gaze was fixed on his shadow!.
Xiu!
A shadow slipped out and slithered until it reaches the exit and stopped.
From the shadow in place, someone claimed out coldly while Alex watched in shock as he saw Riviz climb out. His eyes were on the youth dressed in complete black attire with a long black coat.
Riviz had long black hair tied into a ponytail with darkness twirling in his eyes. In the massive room with a meteor levitating above Alex, he didn’t look flushed.
“Did you think I won’t think I won’t notice after you snuck into my shadow?” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Nah. I knew you would notice” Riviz shrugged his shoulders with a slight frown...
“Yet you did it anyway?” Alex’s eyebrows knitted together as he spoke.
“Yep, I didn’t have anything to lose” Riviz shrugged his shoulders in response.
His eyes were void of any form of emotions just like that of Alex. It felt like with a glance they both understood each other’s feelings.
“So why are you here?” Alex sighed in defeat and asked. Trying to threaten Riviz or use fear to suppress his wasn’t working. Anyway, it didn’t matter because he didn’t put much effort into it.
“what are your plans?” Riviz asked, catching Alex off guard.
Such a question was unexpected. He didn’t expect anyone would dare question him. In fact, he believed that no one would dare question him so directly.
“What do you mean?” Alex said in a defensive manner and only regretted it after the deed has been done.
“I had a tough understanding of the situation of things here from the elders and your orders too. The alliance wants this place and gives them a decade to make a choice about their proposal. Yet you have told them to reject and even went ahead to create awareness of your existence here as the champion of the Estos race. Not only will that get the attention of the alliance but that or any other race hiding out there. ” Riviz said coldly.
“We originally had a decade as our preparation time but now what we have Is less than half a decade with the entire universe probably coming for us. What do you have to say about this?” Riviz asked coldly.
Who would have thought someone who just arrived today would quickly grasp the situation they are in. At least at that time they only had to hide from the Danites and humans and they had an understanding of what these two are capable of. Yet this happened.
“You don’t have to worry about anything, it’s all part of the plan” Alex shrugged his head nonchalantly as he spoke. He really didn’t seem to think much about this right now or maybe he just had no intentions of sharing it with anyone.
Or was it that he did not have a plan at all?
Either way, the response pissed Riviz off but even before he could speak, Alex was already talking.
“You should leave here now. Prolonged exposure to the meteor will cause a forceful second evolution.” Alex advised with a serious look on his face.
“No” Riviz gave a dull answer before sitting down with his legs crossed.
Alex gazed at him in astonishment for a short while, unsure of what to do about this condition.
“You know this means there is a large chance that you may get lost?” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.
“That is the main reason I am here” Riviz replied by nodding his head.
He wasn’t happy about the condition of things but if Alex says he has a plan then he has no choice but to believe him and trust he is doing the right thing. He quickly forgot about everything and focused more on his plans of getting stronger.
“What do you mean by that’s why you are here?” Alex asked with a frown.
He didn’t save them from Earth just to have them come and die here. Even if they die let it be in battle and not over something so ridiculous
“Do you notice mutant beards gain more strength and become far more intelligent as they get stronger. What if we are limited simply because we fight against it, crippling our minds.” Riviz said casually.
“See, what I’m trying to say is don’t run your little experiments on Crappy theories” Alex said with a stern look.
