Chapter 107: 107:Using Technological Simulator Space
Maria's gaze settled on the cup with a blend of skepticism and irritation. Her eyes narrowed, clearly displeased by the interruption of her coffee routine.
"I drink coffee, not tea," Maria replied coolly.
Roy's face flushed, but he quickly composed himself. "Please, just try it. I assure you, it's worth it."
Maria raised an eyebrow but decided to humor him and took a tentative sip of the tea. Her initial expression was one of discomfort, but as the flavors hit her taste buds, her rigid demeanor began to soften. Her eyes widened slightly, and a small, unexpected smile crept across her lips.
"The first sip feels like heaven," Maria murmured, her voice softer than usual, "and the second takes you there…"
As she continued sipping on her tea, her stern facade began to dissolve, replaced by genuine pleasure. The tea seemed to have worked its magic, transforming her once icy expression into one of serene contentment.
The scene ended with Maria placing the cup down with a subtle smile still gracing her lips. The Brew Heaven logo appeared on the screen, accompanied by the tagline, "Experience Heaven in Every Sip."
"Visit the Brew of Heaven nearest to you and experience the pleasure."
_____
The ad was an instant hit.
With the combined effect of the acting, story, and music, accompanied by Suri and Evan's dazzling appearance, it was bound to succeed.
Comments started to pour in like floods.
[Suri's direction was amazing! Oh my God! That cold look of hers…]
[She looks so beautiful as a cold, commanding CEO. I can't stop thinking after seeing her performance.]
[Suri and Evan together? Didn't see that coming!]
While expressing the animation, others were quite burnt.
[Seriously? Evan's in the ad with Suri? He doesn't deserve to be in this one!]
[Why is Evan always getting all the spotlight? It's so unfair!"]
[He can't be compared to others. Hmm! He shouldn't have been here.]
However, the reactions from women were something else.
[AHHH! Evan, he looks so hot.]
[Yeah, he looked like a top-class celebrity. I can't believe that my boy has grown into such a promising young man.]
[Shut up! He isn't just your boy; he's ours.]
[Evan was great in this ad! He and Suri made an awesome pair]
[I'm so happy for Evan. It feels good to see him doing well.]
_____
Evan, however, was completely unaware of the ad and nor did he know that Suri had tried to contact him.
In fact, it was Aurora who had decided to cut Suri's call, following Evan's instructions to make sure no stranger disturbed him. And somehow, Suri had ended up on Aurora's stranger list.
Evan was even oblivious to the fact that in just one night, he had already become a top idol. People were frantically searching for his public profiles but to their dismay, there were none on any of the social media platforms.
In one night, the hearts of many young maidens broke since they were unable to find any trace of Evan online.
Surprisingly enough, Suri was also amongst one of them. She was unable to find Evan I'd, although she knew that he didn't have any before, she had expected Evan to create one after this alas…
Alas, her hopes were crushed.
_____
Two weeks later.
Half of Aurora's computing power was spent on gathering data through the internet as usual, while the remaining half was divided into performing various tasks.
Some of it was allocated to Evan's phone for smooth communication, and some was dedicated to doing other things like monitoring Evan's surroundings.
Of the many things she had at hand, one of them was focusing on investigating Evan's case. She started by analyzing all the footage she could access within the ten-kilometer radius of his house.
Aurora was using nearly 20% of her server's computing power to analyze hours of footage and create profiles of every person who appeared in the thousands of clips.
"So you are saying that you can't pry more into Richards and Suri's data because it's blocked?"
[I can access and barge in, but it might alert the others. If I designate their skills, all of them might be elite or even Masters, however, I can't be sure.]
For now, Aurora had hit a roadblock in her investigation due to the limitations of her computing power which limited her ability to make progress further than that.
[Looks like I will have to ask for an upgrade much sooner than expected,] she noted while adding the upgrade request to her list of priorities as she looked over the images of the suspects.
With that, she postponed her investigation into the case and reallocated the freed-up computing power to other tasks to prevent wasting resources.
Evan naturally understood the reason for her lower efficiency. It was mainly because a very major chunk of her data was taken by the complexity of human data which couldn't be handled by her present servers.
She required an upgrade and that too a significantly bigger one. After all the calculations, Evan realized that even the supercomputer of the alphabet might not be enough to handle it.
Later, Evan inquired about the blueprint for Hyperspace Room, which included the designs of various machines.
Aurora's virtual interface illuminated the dimly lit room, projecting a detailed 3D holographic blueprint of the Hyperspace Room. Evan watched intently as the intricate design unfolded before him.
Aurora then began her explanation.
[The Hyperspace Room is divided into five main zones: the Core, the Processor, the Interface, the Power Grid, and the Control Deck.]
Evan nodded. "Let's start with the Core. What's its purpose?"
Aurora zoomed in on the Core section. [The Core houses the main computational unit and data storage. It's designed for maximum efficiency and redundancy to ensure reliable performance.]
Evan followed the highlighted areas with his eyes. "Got it. And what about the Processor?"
Aurora shifted the focus to the Processor. [The Processor handles all the primary computations and data manipulations and is equipped with quantum processors and advanced cooling systems to manage vast amounts of data at high speeds.]
Evan leaned closer. "Interesting. And the Interface? How does it fit in?"
Aurora highlighted the Interface. [The Interface is the user interaction hub. It connects the Hyperspace Room to external systems and users. It features high-resolution displays, intuitive controls, and a secure communication link for data transfers.]
Evan absorbed the details. "And the Power Grid and Control Deck?"
Aurora moved to these sections. [The Power Grid supplies and regulates energy throughout the room, with backup generators and energy-efficient systems. The Control Deck manages and monitors all systems, providing real-time data on performance and status.]
Evan's expression turned thoughtful. "What are the main vulnerabilities I should be aware of?"
Aurora's interface shifted to highlight the risk areas. [The Processor is a high-value target for cyber attacks, so robust security measures and regular updates are crucial. Additionally, the Power Grid's backup systems should be routinely inspected to prevent power failures.]
Evan considered the implications. "Thanks, Aurora. All these details are really helpful. I'll need to address these vulnerabilities in my strategy."
Aurora's virtual presence seemed to brighten. [I'm here to assist with any further analysis or adjustments you might need. Just let me know.]
With that, the holographic blueprint faded, and Aurora's interface dimmed, ready to assist with the next phase of Evan's plans.
_____
As dusk fell, a convoy of trucks rolled into Evan's facility, their engines rumbling with power. Bodyguards in tactical gear efficiently unloaded large generators and power machines with precision. Cranes and forklifts maneuvered the heavy equipment into place under the direction of the lead bodyguard.
"Careful with that generator," he instructed as it was lowered into position. Another bodyguard checked items off a list, ensuring that everything matched the schematic.
Once the generators were in place, the team connected them to the power grid, meticulously routing wires and cables. Evan watched all this from an observation deck, nodding in approval at the efficient setup.
The lead bodyguard approached Evan. "Installation is complete and everything is operational. Maintenance will handle regular checks."
Evan gave a curt nod. "Ensure it stays that way. We need no interruptions."
As the new power systems were activated, the facility's lights flickered to life. With the installation finished, Evan turned his attention to the next phase of his plan.
After everything was checked and finished, Evan made a few calls, instructing everyone not to disturb him.
Except for Aunt Celina, no one was allowed any excess, and she would place the tray of meals outside the room.
Though naturally concerned, Evan assured her that there was nothing wrong and that he was simply conducting a few experiments.
Once everything was settled, Evan pulled out a card from the system.
Space simulator.
The Space Stimulator was a sophisticated device that could create a four-dimensional virtual space, allowing users to design and visualize complex environments. It accurately simulates machines and equipment based on user-defined calculations, dynamically adapting to their specifications.
What made using this card challenging is that you couldn't create it by mere imagination; you need working, feasible models of all the machines.
If you want to use a supercomputer, you need to provide all the data for such a machine
Secondly, while using the card allows you to create advanced machines and facilitates research, the machines to be used for creation mustn't surpass the current level of technological progress.
Taking out the card, Evan placed it on the wall in the basement and then…
SWOOSH!
