Chapter 684: Life of Krishna

Axel went to the same hotel that he had booked before. He was about to call Kizaru when he got a call. It was Kizaru himself.

"Hey, Axel. Told you that I will be reaching here fast.", said Kizaru with a smile.

"You guys are already here?", asked Axel.

"Yes, even the leader came. He also wants to talk to you.", said Kizaru.

"Nice. I have not met Blue in a long time. So, where are you guys?", asked Axel.

"Just meet us at this restaurant.", said Kizaru sending the coordinates of the place.

Axel got fresh and changed his clothes. After that, he picked up his pace and then went to the restaurant. The waiters were exceptionally well trained. As soon as one of them saw Axel, they politely told him to follow and he was led to a private room.

"This is the room. I will leave now but you can call us and ask us anything.", said the waiter and went.

Axel opened the door.

"Hey, Blue. It has been a long time. How is Garry?", asked Axel as he entered the room.

There were only 3 men in the room. One was Kizaru, the second was Blue and the third was a big man with short hair and a short beard. He had a very strong posture.

"Garry is doing well. Come inside and sit. I have a lot to talk to you. ", said Blue and he invited Axel inside.

"First of all, meet Garp. He is one of the admirals that is from the Kanto region. He is also the boss of Kizaru.", said Blue.

Both of them shook their hands.

"Before we talk. Let's call out all the dishes. You must be hungry. I don't want the waiters to disturb us.", said Blue and called the waiter for the dishes.

It looked like the dishes were already prepared as they came up in a couple of minutes.

"Axel, so you talked to Kizaru about the alliance. I know the reason for it but I want to hear it from you.", said Blue.

"I just want to get strong Blue. That is the only reason. I have started to realize that even though I am talented, I cannot do all of it alone. I need capable and trustable friends along with me. My mercenary team is too inexperienced and very weak right now. They would need time to become powerful. So, I want your help on it.", said Axel.

"And in return, you will be sharing your research with us for free?"

"Yes, I believe that is the only thing that I have that could trade with you guys."

"Hmm, and how long do you think this alliance would last?", asked Blue.

"Till I become the Pokemon master."

"Ok then, I agree.", said Blue.

"Sir, but we are losing a lot if we were to come into this alliance.", said Garp.

Garp was not wrong. They would be losing a lot. Even though Axel was making this alliance with Garp and his team, not the whole organization of Blue, they would still be losing a lot. Because even though they would only be concerned with Garp, Blue was already involved in it.

Explorer Association was a very big organization and even though Blue was just a previous champion of the Kanto region, his influence touched every being in the world.

"I know we are losing a lot on this.", said Blue.

"Then why are we making this alliance or why are we not asking for more? The things that he said about ancient power, it is a very nice concept and it would increase the power of our Pokemons by a lot but it would take a lot of time to materialize. His discovery of some of the unknown evolution will also not increase our power much. So why?"

"Garp, we don't only form an alliance to gain profit. We also do it for the betterment of humanity. Axel is like my little brother and he is growing. He needs help to stand against the world. Besides, Axel is the only one we have that has the power and courage to become the next Pokemon master. If we don't help him, then who will?"

Garp became silent when he heard Blue's response. Blue was also not wrong about it. If Axel became the next Pokemon master, they would gain a lot from the support of the next Pokemon master. However, Blue was doing it only cause he wanted to.

He knew what Axel had to face in the future and he had promised Axel that he would help him as much as he could. He was just fulfilling the promise.

They started to talk about the specifications of help that Axel would need. Axel specifically asked for Krishna's help on this matter.

"Why would you need his help?"

"I am interested in his theories and hypothesis. I believe that some of them could be used in real life.", replied Axel.

Blue knew about Krishna and his wild theories. For him, Krishna was more of a researcher than a trainer. He was obviously strong. If not, then he would not have been selected as a general but his priorities lay elsewhere.

"Axel, how about this,..."

Krishna was also in Violet City. He was inside his hotel room. After talking with Axel, his curiosity and desires had been revived. Krishna was a very different soldier from the beginning. He was different since he was a child. While a child would be curious about the new world, Krishna would be thinking if his mother and father were aliens and were planning to kill him.

His way of thinking was different and he was a very curious person. He would question and be curious about every little detail. When he started to know about the existence of Pokemons, his happiness went through the roof.

Krishna believed that there were still a lot of things that humans have not figured out about Pokemons and this world. He wanted to find and discover all of those things.

He wanted to be a researcher but sadly he could not. Being a researcher took a lot of money and his family was not so rich. He realized that trainers would earn a lot of money. So, he decided to train his Pokemons and after a few years, Blue found him.

Blue found him very interesting and told him to join his organization. Krishna felt that he could do a lot by being a powerful member of the organization.

When he became a general, he started to show his plans to the vice-admiral and Admiral. Most of his battle plans, and theory of Pokemons were crazy, so they didn't believe him. He was told that if he wanted to make some changes, then he would have to be an admiral.

However, raising the ranks of Pokemons from King rank was very hard. Years passed but there was no progress. He slowly started to lose his curiosity. He believed that he would not accomplish his goal in this lifetime.

That was when he met Axel and he felt as if he was revived.

Inside the restaurant,

"Axel, I don't think that Gerad would let you form a mercenary group that easily. First of all, your base of operation would not be completed in 2 months and even though you could, you will have to face a tide which would not be so easy to tackle.", said Blue.

"I know."

"So, what do you plan to do?"

"First, I would try to do everything to complete his conditions and when he rejects me, I will talk to the King.", said Axel.

"Oh, that is a good plan. No, it is the perfect plan. You had it inside the bag. I didn't need to worry about it.", said Blue suddenly realizing his plan.

"Ahh, I don't understand it. If you could talk to the King and get your group approved, why are you still trying so hard to fulfill the conditions of Gerad and the league?", asked Kizaru.

"Kizaru, it looks like you need to learn a lot from Axel. How can you even not know such a simple thing when you are a vice-admiral.", said Garp as he was clearly disappointed with Kizaru.

Blue then stepped up for Kizaru and said, "Don't berate him. If he doesn't know that he will learn in due time. Let me make this clear for you to understand.

Look, even though we have a king, the power of the king is lower compared to the league. Why? This is due to the public.

People of the Kanto region believe in the league more than the King and why wouldn't they? League has been very active and it is able to collect a lot of influence from the people.

So, if Axel does everything as per the condition of the league and the league says no and then he goes to the king for justice, what do you think would happen?"

"The king would have the high ground."

"Yes, the king would have the high ground and Axel would get his team approved. This would be the first blow to the league from the kingdom. I want to see it happen.", laughed Blue.

The talk went from afternoon to night. The talk was long. They had to discuss a lot of things.

Finally, all of them went to their hotel rooms. Axel directly went to sleep. The meeting had drained his brain and he needed some rest.

Meanwhile, Krishna wanted to know what happened in the meeting. Axel had promised Krishna that he would be looking after the training of Axel's team and could also test some of his hypotheses. However, it was very late at night and he didn't want to disturb Kizaru.

Kizaru just gave him a smile and entered the room and Krishna started to create more than 20 meanings of that smile throughout the whole night. He was not able to sleep that night.

The next day,

Blue and his team were now returning to where they came from. Axel also had another place to go. They decided to meet near the airport.

The previous team that went with Axel, Garp, and Blue was standing on one side while Axel, Frank, and Jin were standing on the other side.

"Kizaru, it has been a pleasure working with you", said Axel as he shook his hand with Kizaru.

"The pleasure is all mine. We will be meeting more from now on.", said Kizaru.

"Yes, I believe we will."

All of them said their goodbyes and finally everyone was starting to go their own way when Blue said,

"Krishna, go now."

"Go? Go where?"

"Go to Axel. You are from now on relieved from your duty as my soldier.", said Blue.

It looked like the world came crashing down for Krishna. Why was he being fired? What had he done wrong? Did something bad happen in the meeting? Was that why Kizaru was smiling towards him? There were so many questions that he needed answers to but he could only ask,

"Why? Did I... I do something wrong to... to displease you?", asked Krishna with a trembling voice.

"HAHAHAHA."

Blue laughed loudly and then looked at Krishna and then said,

"Of course not. Krishna, after spending some time in my organization, I already knew that you are not meant for my organization. My organization follows the soldier rule. Everything must be done as per your superiors. This is the nature of my organization.

You are far too creative and curious for that. I already noticed that in you for many years. Yet, I didn't want to fire you cause I have met any other place that would be perfect for you.

Axel's organization is perfect for you. You can now finally achieve your dreams and fulfill all your curiosity. The pay would obviously be less than my organization but I think you will be satisfied. So, I am not firing you. This is just a goodbye."
