Chapter 206 Stat Increase
\'Right now, I have somewhere around 50,000 experience points. That\'s probably enough for me to go ahead and increase it by 10. Hopefully, I\'ll be able to acquire the sub-skill that I want. \' Raydon muttered solemnly while furrowing his brows.
He chose to increase the stat point for the spirit.
He came to the conclusion that improving his attack power was the most important thing for him to focus on right now, despite the fact that doing so required more experience than boosting his stamina. Because of the increase in his Spirit stat, both the bees and his combo would become more powerful, allowing him to eliminate the monsters that he might face in the E-Rank inheritance more quickly and effectively.
In addition, if he came across a defensive monster, such as E-Rank stone soldiers, that he had previously been unable to kill in a single hit, he would now be able to do so thanks to the enhancements made to his elemental power.
By increasing his stamina, he could continue using his combo for longer, though the damage it dealt would be unaffected. On the other hand, if he were to raise his Spirit stat, the elemental damage that each attack would deal would go up, but he would only be able to use his combo for a shorter period of time as a result.
As a direct result, Raydon opted for a stronger but shorter-lasting combo.
After all, he could only remain in inheritance for a predetermined amount of time, and it would be a strategically superior way for him to use his combo for a short time and make it stronger than it would be to use it for a long time if he wanted to maximize its effectiveness.
Therefore, he has the option to reserve the use of his combo for situations in which he is faced with enemies that his bees are unable to kill.
Aside from that, Raydon\'s true anticipation centered on the new sub-skill that he would acquire.
\'\'It\'s undoubtedly a gamble, but... Isn\'t that where the real fun is? \'\' He said with a grin on his face while simultaneously beginning to raise his spirit stat.

*DING*
\'\'Fuck, it cost me more than 30,000 to increase it to only 10.\'\'
When Raydon did finally hear the voice he had been looking for, he was so anxious that cold sweat began to run down his forehead. Even for a brief second, he entertained the idea that his experience points would not be sufficient, but fortunately, he only used up slightly more than half of them.
\'Please let it be the sub-skill I want or else I will probably need more than 50,000 experience points to get the next sub-skill. \' He muttered under his breath as he opened the title panel with hands that were shaking.
\'\'Please…\'\'
\'\'Please… \'\'
\'\'Please..\'\'
\'\'Pleas..FUCKKK\'\'
While Raydon was in the middle of his prayer, he saw his new sub-skill and cursed in exasperation.
<Spirit>
[+1 / Cost: 5420 XP]
-Mana Attunement (sub-skill): Increases mana regeneration by 100% and decreases the MP cost of all item skills by 20%.
-Damage Amplification (sub-skill): Increases the speed and damage of all attack-type item skills by 100%.
-Greater Mana( sub-skill): MP is increased by 2000.
\'\'Damn. It\'s not so bad, but it\'s certainly not what I was hoping for. \'\' Raydon slouched in his chair, clearly frustrated.
When he saw his first two sub-skills, he mistakenly believed that this stat was directly related to the skills. As a result, he placed a wager on the possibility of acquiring something that would reduce the cooldown rate of his skills.
"I guess I\'ll have to work harder to earn more experience points in my next match. \'\'
Raydon looked at the remaining experience points he had and realized he would need to perform at least twice as well as he did in his most recent match in order to collect the necessary experience points to increase his spirit by another 10.
\'\'But, aside from that... \'\' He temporarily forgot the dissatisfaction he was experiencing as he thought about the mental and spiritual shifts he had just gone through as a result of increasing his spirit stat.
Unlike every time he increased his stamina, he felt his body changing and his vitality increasing, but this time the change he experienced was very different.
In addition to noticing more details, such as dust particles in the air, as he observed the material world around him, Raydon felt his spirit materializing within his body, now that he had raised his spirit stat to 30.
When he used his skills in the past, he was unable to feel the mana he used, which seemed to have been generated by the system out of thin air so that item owners could employ their skills.
But now he was able to sense, albeit very faintly, where this mana was coming from. Along with the sensation that his soul was taking on physical form, mana was something Raydon perceived to be a part of his soul.
"So this is why this stat is called spirit, huh?" After coming to the conclusion that his soul was responsible for storing and possibly even producing this mana, Raydon closed his eyes and tried to focus more intently on his spiritual self.
"I remember this feeling from a class I played before," Raydon murmured after taking a moment to reflect on the mana he perceived as being stored in his body and soul.
He got out of his seat, sat down on the floor with his legs crossed, and started concentrating more intently on the nagging sensation that he was experiencing.
Raydon cleared his thoughts in order to concentrate solely on his soul and the minuscule mana particles that were moving around inside of it. In a matter of mere seconds, he had entered a state of profound trance, and his entire being had become devoid of any feelings.
