Chapter 205 Wave Titan
\'\'Yes. Should we talk somewhere else? \'\' While making the suggestion, Galen cast a glance in the direction of the building that was located behind Raydon. In spite of the fact that he was still having trouble comprehending the situation in its entirety, he was unable to dispel the idea that the high-rank item holder was currently resting inside that house.
\'\'What do you want to say? Don\'t worry, we can talk here.\'\' Raydon spoke in an impatient tone.
After observing Raydon\'s adamant demeanor and coming to the conclusion that there was no issue, Galen slowly retrieved an item from his dimensional storage and showed it to Raydon.
\'\'This is the key to the inheritance. I\'m not sure if you realize how important this is, but my father purchased it for me at a great price. And now I\'m handing it over to...\'\'
Without waiting for Galen to finish his sentence, Raydon grabbed the item from his hand and started inspecting it.
This thing appeared to be a drop of frozen water about the size of a fist, and it had an incredibly clear appearance. To such an extent that even the light of the sun that was shining on it was completely transparent to it and did not cause any reflection.
[Inheritance Dimension Key]
-Grade: Green
-Quality: N/A
-Skill: Participate
This key grants the user access to the Wave Titan\'s inheritance. Participation is limited to entities of E-Rank and lower only. The event is limited to a single participant at a time, and the key will vanish once the inheritance is successfully completed.
\'Yes!!!An actual E-Rank inheritance. \' When Raydon read the item description, he couldn\'t help but get excited, even though he wasn\'t sure if the fact that it was green-grade had anything to do with the fact that it was available to E-Rank item holders.
It was obvious that the key he was holding was an E-Rank key because only F-Rank item holders were permitted to take part in the previous inheritance that he took part in.
\'But I suppose it\'s a water element. \' Raydon managed to contain his excitement at the time and made an inference based on the name of the inheritance and the shape of the key.
The information that he had at the time suggested that Raydon\'s ash element included the elements of death and fire. Since he was about to inherit the water element, there was a chance that the elemental difference would cause his power to diminish.
In a normal situation, Raydon wouldn\'t mind having such a disadvantage, but this inheritance was reserved for E-Rank item holders, and despite the fact that he had full faith in his own capabilities, he was aware of how challenging the stages would be.
"Are you hearing me?" Galen inquired with annoyance. He had been going on and on for a while about how significant this inheritance was to him, as well as the trust he had in giving it to Raydon and everything else, but Raydon hadn\'t listened to any of it, and that infuriated him.
\'\'Oh, yeah. Don\'t worry about it, I will come when the time is right.\'\' Even though Raydon wasn\'t paying attention to what he was saying, he was able to make an educated guess and responded by waving his hand while keeping his focus on the key he was holding.
\'\'Okay, I will believe you. \'\' Galen said with a sigh.
This inheritance was purchased by his father as a reward for him achieving E-Rank, and in order to claim it, he had to pay a significant amount of gold coins and other items. However, in order to retrieve Raydon, he had to part with this key. The green-grade dimensional storage expansion orbs that he was going to receive as a reward were significantly more valuable to him than the key itself.
Galen let out another sigh after observing that Raydon was still not paying attention to him, and then he made the decision to depart without giving himself any further hugs.
\'It is ridiculous for him to get so excited about a thing that he will not be able to use in the near future at the very least. I sincerely hope that he is not an idiot and that he will not attempt to use it with the strength he presently possesses. \' Galen was thinking as he was walking away.
Since he believed that Raydon had only recently awakened as an item holder, he believed that it would take him a significantly longer amount of time to reach the necessary level of strength to use this inheritance key safely.
On the other hand, seeing how excited he was, Galen was concerned that he might make a foolish move and end up committing suicide by using the key.
In the unfortunate event that Raydon were to pass away while inside, not only would he lose the priceless inheritance key, but he would also be deprived of the rewards that would be provided to him indirectly by Raydon.
However, there was something very significant that he was unaware of, and it should not be overlooked. To begin, even though Raydon was still an F-Rank, he was significantly more powerful than a typical E-Rank, and he was also no longer the mentally ill individual that he had been in the past.
—
\'Well, this came much sooner than I had anticipated. Now all that\'s left for me to do is decide whether I should work on increasing my spirit or my stamina. \' Raydon mumbled to himself as he started to make his way back home.
Before he could use this key, he had to make a decision about which stat to improve in order to make the most of the opportunities that awaited him inside.
…
"I believe it would be to my advantage if I waited to use it until after the next match." Raydon had already arrived home and was currently sitting in his favorite chair while engaging in some reflective thought.
He had finally made up his mind about which stat he wanted to improve, but he chose to wait until his next match to see how this decision would affect him.
