Chapter 427 424- You Aren’t… (6)
Yang Su looked at this young man and asked.
"Who are you?"
"What?! You attack this place not knowing who Young Master Sol is?!"
A disciple angrily roared out after hearing Yang Su ask that question.
The young man named Young Master Sol smirked at Yang Su and responded.
"You must be the leader of this group. I am Sol Anang, the number one Chosen Disciple of the Solitary Sword Sovereign and the Young Master of the Sol Clan."
Hearing that name, Yang Su vaguely recalled the top ten Chosens on the Chosen Rankings and he remembered seeing that strange name.
'He's seventh place on the Chosen Rankings.'
With the same smirk, Anang confirmed his thoughts by saying.
"As you may or may not know, I'm also seventh place on the Chosen Rankings. With that said, may I know who I'm talking to and your position on the Rankings?"
Anang motioned to Yang Su with his hand as he asked.
Without a change in expression, Yang Su simply said.
"Yang Su. And I'm not on the Chosen Rankings."
Hearing that Yang Su wasn't on the Chosen Rankings, Anang lowered his hand and the indifference in his eyes towards Yang Su increased.
"Your strength seems decent, but to think you aren't on the Rankings. Are you with those types of delusional weaklings that claim the rankings are beneath them? Seems hypocritical now that you came here to get a spot and participate in the Chosen Tournament."
Anang seemed to have misunderstood Yang Su's situation.
He thought Yang Su wasn't on the Chosen Rankings because he was arrogant to think it was meaningless, since with his aura, Anang could tell Yang Su was by no means weak. At the very least he could be among the top fifty.
However, the true reason Yang Su was never on the Rankings was that he had never fought anyone on the Ranking before. Yes, he was been selected by the Celestial Academy to become a Chosen Disciple after the Freshmen Disciple Competition, but the Rankings stopped at a thousand and to make it onto the Chosen Rankings one would have to beat someone on it and take their place.
Jun and the others were on it and had high positions in the top thirty, though that's not on purpose but because they defeated the Star Bound Continent disciples, Li Shen's Fiancee thieves, that came to challenge him to prove they were better suitors for Lu Yue. Because they defeated those Chosen Disciples, the Academy was forced to acknowledge them and selected them to become Chosens.
But Yang Su had never taken action against those fiancee thieves so he had never gotten on the Rankings, and he was focused on cultivating and developing the Faction so he never had time to think about those things.
It wasn't because he was looking down on the Rankings like what Anang thought.
However, Yang Su could care less about his misunderstanding. Looking at Anang Yang Su said.
"This Inn is ours, I can let you all stay and overlook you people stealing it and hurting our members if you apologize."
Anang hearing this gave Yang Su an amused smile.
"Do you have the ability to say such things? Haha, I have no intention of apologizing or sharing this Inn with you. You can just see yourselves out."
Anang actually turned around to leave up the stairs after saying that. His attitude was completely dismissive of Yang Su and the others.
"Yeah, that's right…"
Yang Su said after seeing Anang's reaction.
He truly didn't want to start a fight here if he could help it. Not because he was afraid of fighting but because he didn't want to draw attention to their group. Especially when they were in the middle of searching for Li Shen, and of course, they received information that the Demonic Cult searching for his whereabouts as well.
They needed to find him before anyone who wants to harm him did, and fighting was not the way to do it.
But after having his attempts of settling this peacefully flung out the window by Anang, what else could Yang Su do? As a matter of fact, Yang Su should have just directly attacked Anang as soon as he showed his face instead of running off his mouth.
Yang Su began stepping forward.
"...People like you have thick skulls and clouded eyes because of your overconfidence that comes from your status and strength. You won't know unless it's pounded into that thick skull or see unless it's forced into your face; never again will I try to talk things out, I'll simply beat people like you to a pulp."
"Ha."
Anang who was walking up the stairs stopped and released a sigh.
"You know…"
Anang began speaking with a lowered head and the girl and bloodied face youth who was next to him flinched back as the felt a terrifyingly sharp aura emitting from him.
"…I was going to ignore you, but I change...??!!"
Anang slowly turned his head with a dark look on his face as he spoke, but his words abruptly stopped when his eyes landed on Yang Su.
With an arm raised, Yang Su grasped towards Anang.
That grasp had Anang feeling like a giant was in front of him, grabbing towards him who was a mere bug.
'W-What?!'
Anang cried out internally.
Immediately after Yang Su grasped towards him, a hand made of Ice Qi fifteen meters large materialized and began wrapping its fingers around Anang's body.
"Keuk!"
Unprepared for this type of attack, Anang was easily held in its vice-like grip, and then with a vicious pull from Yang Su, he was sent hurtling through the front door of the Inn like a shooting star.
Anang's body made loud thuds as his figure crashed into the snow-covered ground and did several awkward spins before coming to a stop with his face down in the snow.
"O-Oh my god, what just happened?"
The crowd of disciples who had gathered around the Inn was shocked to see someone suddenly come flying out the door.
More than a few disciples were seen on their butts as they quickly jumped out of the way of that flying objection.
"Wait, it's a person!"
Looking at Anang's motionless body in the snow, everyone realized the thing that came flying out was a human body.
"Who is it?"
"T-That-Isn't that Young Master Sol?"
Someone who was extremely familiar with Anang's appearance to identify him from build alone suddenly said with a quivering voice.
Immediately shocked exclamations and dumbfounded cries echoed out.
"Are you sure that's Young Master Sol? Was he in a fight and was tossed out here?"
"But how can that be?! Young Master Sol is seventh on the Chosen Rankings and one of the Top geniuses from the Seven Major Sects, who could reduce him to such a state?"
"Has someone from the Three Holy Lands appeared here?"
As the shocked crowd began speculating what was happening, they all turned to look at the entrance of the Inn for answers.
Meanwhile, in the Inn, the disciples from the Solitary Sword Sect had their mouths wide open with shock-filled eyes.
"W-Who is that?"
"He said his name was Yang Su, did the Maple Continent have someone other than that Xian?"
The disciples all started to confirm their suspicions that the people they stole this Inn from weren't so simple.
"No! Didn't you see that was a sneaked attack he carried against Young Master Sol?! That shameless bastard! We need to attack!"
"Attack him? Then why don't you go instead of trying to incite us?"
"Ugh… n-no, why would I do that by myself?"
As the Solitary Sword Sect was fighting with the decision of whether to attack again or not, Yang Su began walking outside of the Inn.
The crowd that gathered near the entrance all began backing away.
After coming outside, Yang Su looked at Anang in the snow and said.
"Since you don't want to share the Inn, find somewhere else to go."
"Y-You dare?"
Anang slowly began to get. A sword aura slowly leaked from his body that caused the snow on his head to melt and fall to the ground.
While glaring at Yang Su, Anang clenched his teeth so hard they started to produce sparks. His face was so red from anger that a large vein was visible on his forehead.
"Bastard, I'll KILL YOU!!!"
Completely livid from being humiliated, Anang roared out while a horrifying sword aura erupted from his figure to spread into the surroundings.
The surrounding disciples all released terrified screams as they retreated further.
Facing Anang's sword aura, Yang Su's face harden. His seventh-place position on the Chosen Rankings wasn't just for show.
Yang Su had a feeling Anang was actually as strong as Ji Mei from the Southern Border. No, he might even be slightly stronger than her.
'I guess he wasn't being arrogant without something to back it up.'
"Die!"
Anang suddenly spat out before he raised his index finger and swiped it down in Yang Su's direction.
Yang Su was on high alert, but after Anang swiped his finger down, his vision suddenly went black like he had been transported to a dark void. This void was absolute isolation, a completely woeful place where there was no heaven and earth, only a single Will. It was an inescapable Will that permeated everywhere that wanted to sever all life and achieve true Desolateness.
But Yang Su was interfering by being here.
*Spurt*
A sword wound suddenly appeared on Yang Su's chest that spurted out a fountain of blood.
