Chapter 152
The Son of heaven clasped his hands together as his eyes changed completely to that of a dragon!
Creation pathway: Dragon breath!
Huff!
Fierce flames surging around the son of heaven took the form of a red dragon head, inhaling deeply before spitting out an inhuman amount of flames surging towards the sky endlessly!
Destruction pathway: Explode!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
.....
Three pathways!
The son of heaven has mastered three pathways
The Gyro kingdom forces screamed at the top of their voice while charging forward with their full might! Hearing this, Damon frowned and exploded into a mist of black aura, only reappearing right in front of the enemy while brandishing his black scythe!
Peng!
His strike was deflected, knocking him off balance while the son of heaven struck forward with the katana in his hands but a darkish green wolf created with his aura lunged forward, bitting down on the blade before revealing a cruel grin before exploding!
Thud!
The Son of heaven was thrown out of the explosion and the moment his feet hit the floor, Damon was already in front of him with immense energy surging through his black scythe in his hand as he swung forward with the hopes of shattering the world in one strike!
“You!” The son of heaven growled as he let his flames consume the katana in his hand while he attempted to block.
Boom!
Your majesty!
Many screamed in fright as the son of heaven was knocked into the air by Damon who was more beast than human now. His blood red eyes glowed fiercely while the black cracks spread across his body, causing more of the holy aura within his body to leak out!
Damon’s frosty gaze was on the son of heaven above, nothing else matters. Even now his undead army charged past him and the son of heaven, running towards the enemy forces close by.
“Bone magic: Bone forest!” Damon’s fierce gaze abruptly shifted to the charging soldiers!
“NO!” The son of heaven gasped but was already too late.
Slapping the ground with both hands, countless pillar sized bones shot out of the ground, impaling many, dismembering many....
“Do it now!” Damon growled as his body was already airborne while a black fog followed him tightly.
His words made the heart of everyone skip a beat as they presumed he had a hidden ally but who? Their eyes darted across the battlefield but failed to notice the petite figure within the elven army with surging green eyes.
“Nature Magic: Forest of no return!
Flap!
Elsa leaf suddenly cried out as her body shot out of the crowd and towards Damon while countless poisonous vines erupted from the ground binding everyone it could get hold of while dragging them towards the countless trees sprouting across the battlefield!
“Elsa!” Isabella paled but the Elf queen, Diana of the moon goddess and Cyrstal of the stars watched with deep frowns on their faces!
Did she find out about their plans to get rid of her after the war?
She is the nature guardian spirit host after all and while she has managed to survive this long due to her willingness to help the elves deal with the other hosts, they always planned to take her life after it’s all over.
When did she notice?
Damon grabbed her hand and pulled her into the black fog with him and in the next moment, his undead forces vanished darkish green flames, leaving everyone stunned and confused.
In this short exchange with Damon and with the betrayal of Elsa leaf, the alliance had lost close to fifty thousand soldiers who will surely be added to the death mage’s army while improving his cultivation as well.
“How the hell was there the nature guardian spirit amongst you and you never noticed” The son of heavens disdainful voice sounded from above, directed towards the elf queen who simply frowned deeply at the question.
..........................................
Bring him in!
Someone screamed as Damon staggered into the Castle with Elsa Leaf supporting him. He looked extremely pale and weak because of his condition. Not only was the residual holy energy in his body preventing him from healing but he was also lacking mana now. He couldn’t regenerate his energy as fast as before.
Entering the courtroom, Cassius, Gin, Cyrus, Klien, and Lucy were present. Gin has regained consciousness but his wounds were still deep, putting him out of commission for now.
Seeing Damon arriving in such a condition everyone paled. But they even looked at Elsa with more shock in their eyes.
“She is the nature Guardian spirit host. She has been a part of my plan all this while. It’s unfortunate things turned out like this, ruining my plans for her in this war” Damon said calmly as he staggered over to his throne and took a seat. His eyes were calm as he crossed his legs and began practicing.
The souls consumed, he began using the power to nourish his body, only then did his wounds begin healing slowly.
“Help me” Elsa spoke to Gin and Cryus before placing her hands on Damon.
Damon felt her energy invade his body seeking out the remnants of the holy energy in him.
Without hesitation, Gin forced himself to activate the devour ability and began greedily absorbing the holy energy in Damon while Cyrus could only stand by. His holy energy is poisonous to Damon, so he couldn’t get involved in this.
“What about the enemy? They could be at our doorstep soon!” Cyrus said with a frown.
“Hehehe! They have more pressing matters to attend to. I doubt they have the luxury to focus on us right now” Damon revealed a cruel smile as he spoke.
The others saw this and were confused, only Elsa smiled at this as well but her smile was a bitter one.
She could remember it clearly. The night when the dwarves were slaughtered and the meeting of the Elven court was over, she returned to her tent only to meet Damon there. He asked her to follow him and surprisingly, she did without much resistance.
The so-called Elven court meeting which should have ended had resumed while she was away but this time she was the topic of discussion. They were planning on how to kill her when they were done with Damon and his group.
In their opinion, all hosts should be killed, regardless of who the person is.
That was the words of the queen, her mother!
It was extremely naive of her to think that her efforts would be recognized and appreciated. Yet they still planned to do away with her in the end.
“Thank you” Elsa muttered in a low tone while gazing at Damon with strange eyes.
In response, Damon only let out a sigh and leaned back properly.
“We have the hosts of Death, Life, Force, and nature here. Storm and destruction are missing but we are already fighting the entire continent. Does that mean they do not belong to this continent?” Damon said with a frown gaining the attention of everyone.
They wanted to refute his words but they couldn’t. The fact that they have lived in the central continent for so long without making any contact with the outside world beyond the continent does not mean it doesn’t exist.
Nothing exists in isolation!
It’s like a human who wakes up and finds himself on an island. After searching for years finds no one, does that give him the right to claim that he is the only human in the entire world or that the island is the only habitable place for humans in the world?
“No matter how wealthy you are, there will always be someone wealthier. No matter how strong you are there will always be someone stronger. No one is truly invincible” Elsa said thoughtfully and Damon nodded in agreement.
His eyes fell on Elsa and he smiled. He could remember back then when he was still a warrior realm brigadier general. She warned him of his death and tried to save him, even though she was working for the elves. She knew his identity and did not reveal it. That is why he took the initiative to search for her.
“What if those two hosts remaining are actually dead for the final time? You said this is the last chance for the hosts right? If they were killed again doesn’t it mean there will be no more reincarnation for them? Putting us at a disadvantage” Klien spoke up for the first time in the room and everyone shot him a glance before turning their attention to Damon who wore a frosty expression.
His cold gaze met Cyrus’ questioning gaze and only then did he calm down with a sigh.
“You know, I was going to kill you and her eventually but Cyrus persuaded me not to. I believe if betrayed once, it can always be done again if given the right reason but Cyrus believes in the good in people, or at least, he is too sentimental to let you die by my hands. But let me warn you. Matters concerning the hosts will be discussed by the hosts and my small circle of trust which you are not a part of. One more word concerning my personal matters and I will rip your tongue out” Damon said with a frown.
