Chapter 167
Which was the reason why he told Robus and Cyra to go directly into the middle of the base while wreaking as much havoc as they could in their path.
For Cyra, it was basically a walk in the park for her with the new flames that she got that were significantly stronger than before and also much, much easier to control compared to her bright red flame.
Cyra just used her explosions to fly her body forward while her hands were spread to the side, sending dark flame fireballs toward any humanoid demons her eyes saw.
Robus was also the same and added with the hatred that he got from being encircled earlier and being caught by the darkness binding spell, he was even more enthusiastic than Cyra, and also more violent.
Earlier. he remembered Blake’s advice and instruction to not garner attention towards himself, hence why he was caught in a situation where humanoid demon mages were keeping his movement in check while the physical humanoid demons were pressing onto him hard.
But now that all restraints were cut off and Robus could let loose, not even a humanoid demon mage could finish casting a spell that the huge gorilla already crushed the humanoid demon mange’s body with his fist.
Out of the three, Robus was the most violent and rigorous in enacting destruction and chaos in the humanoid demon’s base. On the other hand, Blake was the most passive when it comes to destroying the actual base.
Because his real target, the one that he want to pummel with his fist was the leader of the base, the humanoid demon that had tried to force him into slavery and also threatened his and his best friend’s life.
.....
Blake also did his job as he said to Cyra, he threw dark flame fireballs everywhere he went, not even looking at whether there were humanoid demons there or not.
He just wants as much chaos as possible, so hitting the wooden buildings with his dark flame would also achieve the same effect that he wanted.
And while his hands were busy throwing fireballs, his legs and wings were working together to get his body as fast as possible to the middle of the humanoid demon’s base where the flying humanoid demon should be.
He already knew that his aim had missed slightly when he was casting the second realm darkness bullet spell and he didn’t know how much damage he had actually done to the flying humanoid demon since his knees already buckled by the time the second realm spell left his hand.
However, from the harrowing scream that was filled with pain, and the hatred-filled command to chop his body into pieces, Blake would have guessed that the second realm darkness bullet spell had given the flying humanoid demon a non-negligible kind of pain.
With the new power he got from Cyra, Blake was now confident that even if the flying humanoid demon were unharmed by his second realm darkness spell, he would have a very high chance of defeating him.
Added with the variant type demon herself now on his side, that huge possibility of defeating the flying humanoid demon had almost become a certainty.
By the time Blake arrived at the middle of the humanoid demon’s base, Cyra was already there first with the background behind her filled with dark flames rising up to the ground.
‘I guess she did her job very well...’
Blake looked at his own back, the dark flames were also present behind him, burning the wooden buildings that he went past through, but the ones that were caused by Cyra were more throughout and you can only see dark flames everywhere your eyes went to, there was not a single patch of land left where there was no dark flames present.
Blake would have probably felt the heat of the dark flame through his dark earth armor since all around him was clearly filled with burning buildings. But because of his new bloodline power, a warm comforting heat was all that he felt on his body.
Instead of feeling hot, Blake even felt more comfortable here compared to the usual environment of the demon realm.
“I guess I still need to learn a lot from her about controlling flames...” Blake muttered out loud as he waved over to Cyra.
Cyra was smiling once again as she saw Blake had just arrived, longer than her, which means that she had won the game and Blake had to do one thing that she asked of him.
She didn’t know what to ask yet other than to ask Blake to play another game, but she kept it to herself for now as Blake called her over.
“Cyra, the person I hate most is likely inside this building. If I can’t defeat him on my own, can you please help me deal with him?”
“Sure!”
“Okay then, I will go in first. If you heard me call your name then it means you need to go inside and-”
Blake’s sentence was then cut off as the roof of the building that he and Cyra were currently standing before suddenly broke apart, revealing a flying humanoid demon that had lost an arm and a significant part of his shoulder.
The humanoid demon seemed to be unfamiliar, but just one glance was enough for Blake to recognize the flying humanoid demon’s face and wings.
Moreover, there were not a lot of humanoid demons capable of flying, so it didn’t take Blake longer than a split second to recognize who it was, flying onto the sky at full speed, seemingly wanting to get out of the place as fast as it could.
