Chapter 211 - A Secret Discussion With Tang Yuzhang?
Once the talk with Xin Yichen and Tang Yuzhang was over, Zhenyi came out of her father\'s study and went to stroll in the garden to cool her heated brain, because if she didn\'t, her brain might short-circuit with the number of thoughts running inside it.
Tang Yuzhang emerged behind her, an ambition clear in his eyes. Zhenyi veered around to find him standing behind her, looking intently at her face. She didn\'t stop him and let him read her all he wanted. It was obvious to everyone that he reached her with a clear motive.
"You remember everything." There was a conviction in his voice and so, Zhenyi neither denied nor accepted and just gave him a meaningful eye look.
"Then, we need to talk," said Tang Yuzhang coldly, his arms crossed behind his back.
Zhenyi nodded. They indeed needed to have a talk. And so, they talked for more than three hours.
Tang Yuzhang left the mansion after that again and it was not clear if he would be back or not and neither did Xin Yichen asked, though Ming Jia invited him for a meal at her home, and he couldn\'t refuse her, after all, they were very old acquaintances.
On the other hand, Elder Xin was placed in a dilemma when he learned why Tang Yuzhang was here. He still clearly remembered the last conversation he had with his grandson and how he flipped against everyone when they tried to arrange his grandson\'s wedding with a girl of his liking. It was the last conversation that he had with his grandson.
Arranged marriages were not uncommon in their world, it was just that Ryuu despised the institution of marriage the most. Zhenyi\'s wedding was arranged and so would be Ryuu\'s. It was clear to everyone from the very beginning.

When Zhenyi entered her room, it was almost evening but she didn\'t find her husband anywhere.
Actually, Long Jie had to go for an important meeting that he couldn\'t cancel, just a little after the breakfast was over and he was yet not back.
Her mind wandered to the conversation she had with Tang Yuzhang and unconsciously she touched her heart-shaped locket. And it didn\'t take a genius to guess that whatever the contents of the discussion were, they were not very pleasant if not worse.
She went inside the washroom and poured cold water over her face. The stress was getting to her head again.
When she entered the bedroom, the sound of the opening of the door was heard and she swiveled to find Long Jie entering the room. She sighed in relief.
"Jesus, what happened to you Zhenyi?" He asked her, his heart coming out of his chest in panic. "Did you take your medicines?"
She blinked at him in confusion. What happened to her? She didn\'t even know.
He held her by her shoulder and made her sit on the bed. He opened the drawers to check her medicine box. As expected, she hadn\'t taken her medicines.
When he had entered the room, he panicked seeing her as pale as a sheet of paper. Also, she was clenching her hands and was sweating profusely. It was a sign of anxiety.
He was so angry at her for being careless. Did she not want to get better? And why the heck no one checked if she had taken her medicines or not.
"Stop bothering, Jie. I was just too busy today to even think about the medicines. It has been a very hard day." She said with a long sigh.
She swallowed her medicines and looked at him in apology. \'Okay. She had been wrong. She admits it.\'
But the proud peacock she was...so, wouldn\'t admit it out loud.
Zhenyi grabbed his hand and made him sit beside her. She moved a little, placing her head in his lap, and began fiddling with his suit jacket\'s buttons.
\'What is he gonna do with her?\' He cursed himself for being soft when it came to her.
"You can\'t repeat it," said Long Jie. He didn\'t have the heart to scold her for being careless when she was behaving like this. Also, he knew she was stressed and was trying to calm herself down.
He wondered what had happened which stressed her to this extent. She was doing better in the morning than she had been in these months, and now she was back to how she was yesterday; withdrawn and lost. The only silver lining was that she was not pushing him out like she was doing before.
He kissed her forehead and asked in a very soft voice as if he was talking to a kid. "What happened today?"
He knew her mood was certainly poor due to the happenings of today. It was a pity he was not there to see it for himself.
She closed her eyes and narrated the story to her husband. Indeed, minus the Ryuu was her brother.
"Jie, how can someone marry someone who he had never seen or talked to? Of course, we got the picture of the girl but still… and not to mention the fact that the girl has a fiance already."
Why did this situation seem familiar?
Long Jie was shocked, baffled, and then amused at the outrageous situation. "But Cat eyes, I wasn\'t given your photograph either. Your father is a stingy man, you must see the information he gave me about you. I will say that guy is still better than I was, he is at least getting a profile made on the girl." He took a temporary pause to add," But, this girl has a fiancee part is quite baffling. As you say that they are childhood sweethearts, won\'t it be hard to marry the girl?"
"That\'s what I am thinking about...But, what my mom says, my mom gets," was the reply Zhenyi gave to Long Jie.
"But, you didn\'t tell me who the guy is that you\'re so worried about?," questioned Long Jie." And how is he related to your family?"
He wouldn\'t admit the fact that he was simply jealous of whoever the man was. Who was this man and why was he capable of making Zhenyi worry about him so much?
"He\'s someone from the Tang family," replied Zhenyi softly.
Long Jie\'s hands which were caressing Zhenyi\'s hair stiffened as he heard what Zhenyi had said.
"T-Tang family?" He let out the word with great difficulty.
Even if Zhenyi had noticed the change in her husband\'s body language, she didn\'t speak.
"Which Tang family, Zhenyi?" He amassed the courage to ask her the question.
She met her eyes and in his eyes, she saw shock, fear, and...secrets. But everyone was entitled to have some secrets of their own, weren\'t they? She had hers and he had his. Even if she wanted to share it with him, they were not hers to share. So, she told him what she could.
"The Royal Tang family," Zhenyi whispered.
Long Jie sighed in relief as he heard her say. But, after a moment, his face was covered with shock.
\'The royal Tang clan? How on earth was she connected with it? Even a great family like his had no access to the Tang family as they were too private.\'
\'Whatever! Royal family or not. He has no good impression of those people!\'
Long Jie didn\'t mean to be nosy but he was so shocked and worried that he fired the question that was burning his intestines because the Tang family was worse to have acquaintances with," Zhenyi, why will Bà arrange the wedding of someone belonging to the Tang family? Plus, they may sound majestic and grand as they are the descendants of the royals but none of them could be considered good allies. In fact, they are not even fit to be called human beings. They are even worse than us."
Zhenyi chuckled at her reaction, "Jie, are you worried about me?."
"Of course, "came the instant reply.
His response made her smile, and so, she was smiling widely at him.
" But they are royals. Like real royalty. And imagine the old money." Zhenyi tried to lure him with the vast wealth of Tangs.
Perhaps, Zhenyi didn\'t notice that money was not a temptation to Long Jie. He had more wealth than anyone could fathom.
"They were royals, Mrs. Long." Long Jie bit her nose and she glared in return." But not anymore. If you have forgotten, then let me remind you that now the country is a republic." He paused for a moment and then added," And what old money? My family had old money too. Perhaps, I am even richer than this so-called royal family."
