Chapter 643 - Unexpected
Chapter 643 - Unexpected
Trinity Academy..
"Where are the rest of the guys?" Riser asked as he looked at Mark. A few people from their team were missing.
"I think I saw them a while ago." Tyler turned his head around, but couldn\'t find them at all.
"They must be around somewhere, let me give them a call," Mark replied with a smile. He then walked out of the place while taking his phone out. He was aware that there were chances of something bad happening.
And, now that they were missing, he was starting to get worried about it.
As he was about to call Axel, a message arrived from Wilson\'s side.
<<Come to the Academy Hospital>>
A frown immediately appeared on Mark\'s face and he immediately left the party and hurried towards the Academy Hospital.
Trinity Academy was a Mage Academy, but it\'s Medical Department was also very famous throughout the Continent. It was actually treated as the best. On the other hand, no one had ever heard about the Medical Department of Orca. The difference could be clearly seen by the fact itself that the Academy had a Hospital Adjacent to it\'s Campus which was actually a part of its Medical Department.
….
Academy Hospital, Trinity.
When Mark arrived at the place, he was really shocked by the sight in front of him.
"What in hell happened to you?" He asked, looking at Wilson.
Mark couldn\'t believe his eyes. Wilson was actually on a wheelchair with his body covered in bandages and plasters.
"Nothing much, these people are just making a big deal about it." Wilson scuffed it.
The nurse stared at him before looking at Mark, "He has both of his arms and legs broken. There have been quite a few internal injuries ranging from a dozen mild ones to a single severe one."
"He seems to be still full of adrenaline, and doesn\'t realize it." She further added.
Mark\'s eyes went wide.
He never thought that there would be a day when he would see Wilson getting beaten up like this.
"Anyway, I called you here because I can\'t push the wheels with my hands." Wilson looked at his two hands covered in plaster helplessly. "So, help me go out."
Mark really was speechless.
…
The two of them soon arrived at the place where Lesia was admitted.
"Are you fine?" Mark asked Lear, looking at the guy still pacing back and forth outside the room in which his mother was admitted. And, to be honest, Lear\'s complexion didn\'t look good at all.
He was sweating all over, and his body was shivering a bit.
"I-I am good," Lear muttered with a shaky voice.
"Whom did you go up against?" Wilson looked at him with a doubtful gaze. He got the sh*t beaten out of him earlier. This could be said to be his first fight in the world of experts.
And, the result was honestly within expectation.
He was only at Expert Tier, and didn\'t even spend much time at the level. Hell, even his new True spell hadn\'t been perfected. It was supposed to be his main weapon to fully utilize his power.
And, in such a situation, he was put up against a group of people not only consisting of people at his level but also at a level higher than him.
It was already a miracle that he was alive.
Most of it was due to the fact that the enemies had held back, not wanting to harm Lesia who was in his protection.
So, it was even more surprising to Wilson that Lear was standing on his two feet. He couldn\'t believe that Lear was fine after fighting even when he was strapped to a wheelchair.
"You don\'t look that good to me. You should get checked first." A voice sounded from behind, and they saw a girl walking towards them.
It was Caira.
She had just got her checkup done, and there were only a few scratches on her, nothing much.
Caira looked at Lear, she could see that he wasn\'t behaving normally. His complexion was pale, and he seemed to have even stopped pacing around. He was most likely having difficulty in moving too.
"I will get it done in a minute.." Lear nodded, but his gaze was still pasted on the doors of the patient\'s room.
"Leave him be, he must have come across some flies." Wilson shook his head.
"The person holding the hostage was at Master Tier," Caira muttered, looking at Wilson and his eyes constricted. "A single direct hit could have killed him. He was lucky to have avoided it."
Well, he was very close to taking one actually. Luckily for Lear, Max was there for support and was fully aware of this. And, Logan underestimating them as two mere kids had played a major role in Lear surviving the situation as well. After all, in a fight, what are the chances of not taking a direct hit?
"Even if he didn\'t take a direct hit, I am sure he wouldn\'t have come out unscathed.." A frown emerged on Wilson\'s face as he closely observed Lear. He knew how devastating it was to even get caught up in a fight between people one Tier above you.
And, this guy here was actually two Tiers below the people whom he messed with.
"Call the Doctor, get this guy out of here," Wilson spoke, having a bad feeling about it. He remembered the nurse\'s words from a minute ago. That being high on adrenaline might be the reason he was not realizing the pain.
To be honest, he lied actually. It obviously hurt. The Adrenaline rush was long gone for him. But, Lear still didn\'t seem calm.
Mark nodded, and walked up to Lear, and grabbed his shoulder, "Your being here won\'t change anything. Besides, I heard that there was nothing serious about her condition."
"I kno-" Lear\'s eyes suddenly widened and a sweetness rose up his throat.
"Splash!"
Blood dyed the floor, as Lear slowly felt his vision turning dark.
Mark was definitely shocked by the sudden turn of events. Still, he had enough awareness about the situation around him. He immediately moved forward and caught Lear before he crashed onto the ground.
"Lear!"
