Chapter 1599 - Why are you this horrible?
Chapter 1599: Why are you this horrible?
Facing him with her back, Pei Ge silently considered what the man meant by this. However, before she could come to terms with what he had said, Ji Ziming pulled her over and pushed her back against the door. Her blush had not subsided when her eyes met his gentle and loving gaze.
“I’m asking you a question. Why won’t you give me an answer?”
His dark eyes peered deeply into her as though they were sunbeams.
“I... What am I supposed to say in reply?”
She tried hard not to face him directly.
“Oh, looks like you don’t know.”
The corner of his lips tilted upward as he watched the little woman’s face before him turn as red as cherry. His smile turned a little cheekier. “Say, if I tell you something you want to know, how will you repay me?”
“What repayment? I don’t care at all about what you want to tell me, okay?”
She looked toward the area under his towel. The space there was the largest. If she wanted to escape from this, that would probably be the best choice. Still, before she could bend, the man stooped her, having seen through her plan.
His arms suddenly moved to block her face as his voice sounded from above. “Woman, why do you never learn from your mistakes? I revealed a slight weakness and you quickly tried taking advantage of it.”
“You’re spouting nonsense!”
Pei Ge did not raise her head but kept her head lowered like a hurt, little deer. Looking at the white tiles, her voice became slightly timid as she spoke. “Do you want to let me go first? I haven’t taken my shower yet.”
Ji Ziming’s smile widened, reaching his eyes, which clearly took in every of her movements.
“What has that got to do with me letting go?”
“Hm?”
She was suspecting her hearing. Why was he acting this abnormally today? He did not even request her to wear the ‘unique’ clothes he had specially bought for her. She was in disbelief. Was this the same man or was this a doppelganger?
“What are you thinking? Why aren’t you replying?”
Rolling her eyes, she reached for his arm and bit it. Unexpectedly, it was rippling with muscles, so she could not make a dent on it with her light chomp.
She realized that the man was not even faced by her bite. In reality, he was truly only looking down at the woman with a badly hidden smile.
“Don’t you feel hurt at all?”
She looked up to meet his dark eyes. Her nervous voice did not go unnoticed.
“You won’t bite hard because you are concerned about me. I know that that is the case; how can you possibly bear to hurt me with your bite?”
His lips turned upward, and the iciness in his eyes were replaced by love and doting for her.
“Hmph! Boring.”
She flung his arm away, but unexpectedly, it remained there, without moving an inch.
“So what exactly do you want?”
He pressed so close to her that she could not move her lips properly.
“You bit me just then, so I want some payback.”
His warm eyes suddenly turned chilly and sly.
This woman was already in the palm of his hands, and he had already gobbled her up, so there was no need for him to wait further.
“Hey, you just said that it’s not painful.”
Pei Ge hurriedly crossed her arms over her chest upon hearing that he wanted to bite her back. Tightly hugging her chest, she planned to wear a mid-length knit top tomorrow. If his teeth marks remained, anyone outside this door who saw the hickeys would make her feel embarrassed.
“Yes, it doesn’t hurt, but I didn’t say that I won’t bite you back.”
His lips turned up into a smile, and this smile made a chill run down her spine. She finally knew who or what it was that she had provoked—neither a wolf nor a domineering big boss but a domineering, wolfish CEO.
From the day they started, her future road was already paved for her. A man would always stay by her side her entire life—one who would be affectionate with her in good times and in bad times.
Just as she was searching for a word to describe the man, the latter lowered his head and plugged her lips with his. In his eyes, there was nothing more attractive than her lips.
If there was, then it would still be her.
The kisses trailed from her lips to her fair neck. Just as she was absorbed in his deep and rough kisses, she felt something hot on her skin and quickly pushed him away with a start.
Ji Ziming fell backward following the push and the only place on him which was covered got exposed to her eyes. Her cheeks, which were already pink, instantly turned blood-red as though she were a cooked crab. The two stared blankly at each other for two seconds before hurriedly turning their heads away.
In a voice filled with embarrassment, she asked, “Why are you this horrible? Why didn’t you wear some pants?!”
“Why? Are you embarrassed now?”
He picked up the white towel that had dropped to the floor and tied it on his waist again. While they were kissing just then, his little brother had already stood up. Hence, it was natural for this woman to feel embarrassed when she saw it. Still, this was the exact her that he liked.
“Go take your shower. I’ll change into my pajamas and sleep first.”
He turned around and walked toward the bed. The gray, silk pajamas was the one his mother had ordered to be sent here this morning. She claimed to be thinking of him but was actually here to consult Zhang Manhua over some dishes. Her husband’s gastric had been acting up recently, and having discovered that Pei Ge’s mother was good at cooking, she decided to ignore the nutritionist at home and personally came over to learn cooking from her.
Ji Ziming did not dare imagine the scene of her mother rolling up her sleeves to cook for his father.
It did not seem all that bad.
Standing at the door, Pei Ge was again stunned. This time, he had ended everything after just a deep kiss. Is this person truly Ziming?
She muttered inside. Obviously, the woman did not intend to tell him that she was slightly doubting his sexual orientation.
Pei Ge checked the bathroom for any of those nonsensical clothes, but other than her pajamas and belt, there was nothing else in the clothing rack within.
