Chapter 231
The floor of the 13th to 17th on the dungeon was like a maze. It was also the reason why it was called the Maze Labyrinth. It also had a similar feature, considering the walls, ground, and ceiling become made of bedrock. If there was a difference, then the upper the floor was, the easier the maze was. On the other hand, the lower the floor was, the more complex the maze was before.
Even if one had a map from the guild, they would still have a hard time walking out of the maze.
Still, it wasn’t a problem for Tsukasa since his sense of smell led him to the best path.
When the light became brighter, and the air became less moist, Tsukasa knew they had arrived on the 13th floor. He thought they would just find a spot to eat immediately, but he was dumbfounded by Line’s action.
After they cleared up the monsters around them, Line suddenly broke the wall of the dungeon, causing a massive hole in it. “Come, let’s eat.” She took out a mat from her bag and put it on the ground.
Lefiya sat on the mat tiredly while touching her stomach, but Tsukasa asked, “Why did you break the wall?”
“You don’t know?” Line, who took out the lunch box, stopped and looked at Tsukasa in confusion.
“I don’t know.” Tsukasa shook his head honestly. Still, he must admit that Line was really well-prepared.
“Oh, right! You only came to the dungeon for a while.” Line only remembered Tsukasa came a few days ago. It hadn’t even been a week since he came to Orario, yet she treated him like a veteran. However, she couldn’t be blamed since he could walk around the dungeon, treating it like it was his house. “Let’s eat while I explain why I broke the wall of the dungeon.”
Tsukasa nodded after he received a lunch box from Line. He was also quite hungry and ate lunch without hesitation before showing a surprised expression. “It’s good!” He felt her food wasn’t even lost to the food in the House of Hostess of Fertility.
“Thanks.” Line smiled before she explained why she broke the dungeon.
Monsters emerged from the walls of the dungeon, so when the wall was broken, the dungeon would prioritize fixing the wall before the monsters appeared again.
During that precious time, the adventure would use that time to take a break.
Tsukasa was surprised and must admit choosing Line as his teammate was a good thing. He knew she had a lot of experience and knowledge about the dungeon, but he also knew her role was limited. It would be hard for her to grow unless she could grow stronger, especially when she was a supporter and a healer.
Still, even so, it didn’t mean that Tsukasa was going to throw her out when he had taken all of her knowledge. After all, Line was a cute girl, and in this place, she was his eye candy.
As for what he was doing if Line wasn’t here and didn’t tell him about this matter, Tsukasa usually used his cube and created a house, a comfortable place he could stay to eat his lunch.
‘On the other hand…’
Tsukasa looked at Lefiya, who ate her lunch hurriedly, and there was rice stuck in the corner of her mouth.
Lefiya seemed to notice his gaze and looked at him with doubt and confusion.
Line also noticed Lefiya’s antics and could only smile before helping her pick the rice from the corner of her mouth.
“Thanks.” Lefiya blushed, seemingly embarrassed, before she realized why Tsukasa was watching her. She puffed her cheeks before looking away, showing a cute blush and annoyance since he didn’t tell her about the rice that was stuck in the corner of her mouth. ‘As expected, Ais-san is the best!’
‘…’
‘Are you really a Level 3?’
Tsukasa let out a sigh inwardly, thinking how unreliable Lefiya was. However, he must admit Lefiya was a talented magician without a doubt since he had seen how powerful her magic was. ‘As expected of an elf…’ However, if Lefiya wanted to take Riveria’s mantle, it would take a while since, as he had explained before, she was unreliable and lack of experience.
While eating, they talked to each other. Tsukasa also observed the dungeon with a glance, thinking the dungeon was alive. It might seem like a building, but it could give birth to monsters. He touched the ground with his hand and tried to use his power to check the material and at a method to create a dungeon, thinking he might be able to create it.
However, Tsukasa quickly stopped and had a cold sweat on his forehead since the amount of information was too much for him to digest. It overwhelmed him that it tried to crush him. Also, while he wasn’t sure the reason, he could also feel the emotions of the dungeon. However, most of them were negative emotions, screaming like a bitch. It might not bother him much, considering how powerful his willpower was, but it was hard to understand the dungeon.
The dungeon wasn’t a technology. It was a living thing, but it was different from the other living beings. It was quite hard to tell since the amount of information he had in this world was limited. It would have been impossible to recreate the dungeon unless he learned more about this world.
As for his intention to create a dungeon, without a doubt, it was the magic stone.
If Tsukasa could create a dungeon, he could mine it and use it for renewable energy.
However, his first purpose in coming to this world was to become stronger.
As for the rest, it was the next purpose, and he could only put it to the side unless he became unrivaled under the heaven.
Still, Shishio remembered something and looked at Lefiya, who was eating, then asked, “Lefiya, can I ask you something?”
“Hmm?” Lefiya chewed her food while looking at Tsukasa curiously.
“Didn’t you come here to train concurrent chanting?” Tsukasa asked.
Tsukasa remembered Lefiya telling them she came to train her concurrent chanting before they entered the dungeon. However, he had always been focussing on training his swordsmanship and protecting them in case of an accident, so he didn’t ask this question.
However, they were on break, so Tsukasa asked this question since he was also curious. After all, he would be lying if he didn’t have an interest in learning the magic of this world, especially after he had confirmed he could learn Tiona’s magic.
“…”
Lefiya became still and halted all the movement in her body. She stayed silent before she put down her lunch before she lowered her head while holding it in a depressed manner.
“…..”
Tsukasa and Line didn’t say anything, and they knew this girl had forgotten her plan to train the concurrent chanting. They looked at each other helplessly and thought this girl was really unreliable.
