Chapter 326: They Even Exchanged Accounts After They Started Dating, How Shameless!
Perhaps these people were just camping on Weibo because they had nothing better to do.
As soon as he followed them using Xu Moyan’s account, Han Zhuoli sent him a private message. “Nice to meet you, younger sister-in-law. I’m Han Zhuoli, you can call me Zhuo’zi like the rest of them.”
Wei Zilin, “...”
With a patter of his fingers, he replied, “Who are you calling your younger sister-in-law?”
Han Zhuoli was slightly stunned. Whoa, it seemed like his sister-in-law had a bad temper. Wei Zilin was going to suffer for this.
Before Han Zhuoli could reply, Wei Zilin followed up with, “I’m Wei Zilin.”
Han Zhuoli, “...”
He had wanted to approach Xu Moyan on the sly and ask her to keep a tight rein on Wei Zilin, so that the latter would not go to his old lady’s place and brag that he had found a girlfriend.
To his complete surprise, Wei Zilin was using Xu Moyan’s Weibo.
They even exchanged accounts after they started dating. How shameless!
The others were clearly not constantly on Weibo like Han Zhuoli was, but after some time, each of them also took turns sending Xu Moyan’s private messages of self-introduction.
Wei Zilin dragged her into the 8×8 is 64 WeChat group, too.
In an instant, the WeChat group exploded in activity.
Wei Ziqian: “Welcome, welcome. And congrats to Xiao Lin’zi for finally leaving singlehood!”
Han Zhuoli: “Who’s using Xu Moyan’s account now? Xu Moyan herself or Wei Zilin?”
Nan Jingheng: “Why? Is Brother Zilin using it?”
Han Zhuoli: “They exchanged accounts to show off how lovey-dovey they are! How utterly shameless!”
Chu Zhaoyang sent a welcoming sticker, but the sticker was of Chi the kitten acting cute. It was completely and ridiculously at odds with Chu Zhaoyang’s cold and cool image.
Yan Beicheng: “Don’t act cute, Big Chu, we’re really not used to it.”
Qi Chengzhi: “Yeah, you should just send a full stop like you always do.”
Yan Huaian: “I scawed when Big Chu acts kewt.”
Wei Zilin used Xu Moyan’s account to reply, “It’s still me, Wei Zilin. She’s baking a cake, so I have her phone with me.”
Everyone: “...”
Han Zhuoli, “Haha.”
Wei Ziqian: “Haha.”
The two of them felt like brothers united by a disaster.
Wei Zilin ignored them. To be honest, Han Zhuoli and the others were also ignoring him now.
With the phone, Wei Zilin looked closely at Xu Moyan’s back as she was putting on the buttercream. From about 45° behind her, he took a few photos.
In the photos, Xu Moyan was standing with her body straight, her back drawing out a beautiful curve. Her head was lowered as she put the buttercream on the cake, revealing only her fair and delicate neck, one of her ears, and a small half of her face.
The picture did not reveal most of her face, but it perfectly captured her elegant and quiet side. Her fair skin alone was enough to send the mind racing.
She moved so peacefully and beautifully before the counter that she was like the most gorgeous of paintings, so sweet and pretty that Wei Zilin could not look away.
Finally, Xu Moyan moved to take the pot of melted chocolate so she could drizzle it onto the surface of the cake. Only then did Wei Zilin reluctantly move his gaze away, lowering his head and turning on Xu Moyan’s Weibo. He posted the picture of Xu Moyan’s back as she made the cake and added a caption.
Silent Words: This is Yu Linling here.
Those five simple yet explosive words were all he wrote. Still, the picture he added was proof of everything.
Wei Zilin waited for the fans’ comments patiently, and they did not disappoint. Once he posted that, the replies he received came in faster than any of Xu Moyan’s previous posts.
“Omg, am I seeing this right?”
“My liege, don’t be so mean to your single fans!”
“Gah! How can you prove you’re actually Yu Linling?!”
“If the video from this morning was a hint, this is a public declaration of your relationship!”
“Tbh, I still don’t understand how these two got together.”
“I knew I was right, my goddess really is gorgeous.”
“Your back is already breathtaking, goddess.”
Wei Zilin smiled and replied to this comment, “Her front is beautiful too.”
Such a simple reply triggered yet another explosion in the comments.
“The Great Lord is so protective of her!”
“So sweet.”
“The Great Lord noticed me uwuuu.”
Of course, there were less than friendly comments as well. One commenter said, “What if it’s just Silent Words pretending to be someone else?”
Wei Zilin pursed his lips and immediately took out his own phone. He did not reply to that comment and did not say anything at all, but he simply used his own account to share the “This is Yu Linling here” post. His actions proved everything and he struck back at the commenter directly.
Xu Moyan’s fans in the comments were very supportive too, replying to that comment with, “The Great Lord claps back. Actions are louder than words 233333.”
“Jealousy is such an ugly look. [bye]”
“Does she need to pretend? The Great Lord confessed with a video this morning. Open your eyes, friend.”
“You got the Great Lord to personally clap back at you. Good job, mate.”
Wei Zilin felt better now that he had vented his anger, so he turned off Weibo and threw the phone aside. Standing up, he walked behind Xu Moyan and pulled her into his embrace.
Xu Moyan paused. Thankfully, the cake was already in the final stages of preparation, and when Wei Zilin hugged her, it was just about done.
Wei Zilin noticed that she had a habit of pulling her hair into a bun whenever she was cooking. It made her look clean and fresh, just like when she was cooking for him at her place. This way, she revealed her fair and slender neck.
When she lowered her head, her neck looked even longer, elegant and beautiful. He could not help but brush his lips against the back of her neck, kissing her gently again and again.
Xu Moyan trembled uncontrollably, throwing down her piping bag and grabbing Wei Zilin’s wrist.
“Can I eat now?” Wei Zilin’s lips had reached her ears before she knew it, and now he was whispering right into the roots of her ears.
Xu Moyan could never resist the charms of his voice to begin with, and now that clear and warm voice was coming from right beside her ears. She could even feel the vibrations that voice made in the air by her ear, that voice flowing into her ears like electricity, accompanied by the warmth of his breath. It made her body tingle.
When Wei Zilin asked that question, Xu Moyan’s thoughts inevitably ran askew.
What... did he want to eat, exactly?
While her thoughts were wandering, Wei Zilin suddenly bit her ear.
With that, Xu Moyan’s suspicions were confirmed. When he talked about eating, he was definitely not referring to the cake.
“I followed everyone back for you, and I added you into our WeChat group too. Lin Chu’s in there as well,” Wei Zilin explained as he nibbled her ear. “You don’t have to be too nervous around them. They’re just like normal people, really, and they’re easy to be around. They have decent personalities, and a few of them are a bit dumb. You’ll know once you start talking to them.”
Xu Moyan nodded, her body ridiculously weak. She could barely even stand, and right now she was relying completely on Wei Zilin to keep her upright.
“I know. You’re a wonderful person, so I’m sure your friends are just like you,” said Xu Moyan in a soft voice. The kiss had made her instinctively tilt her head, giving him more space to do as he pleased.
Wei Zilin’s embrace tightened abruptly. Her compliment somehow made him unbearably happy. Aiming at her lips, he turned her around so she was facing him directly, and then he pulled her deep into his arms and kissed her with reverting he had.
Xu Moyan leaned into Wei Zilin’s embrace, her body practically boneless as she panted. After a while, Wei Zilin finally released her lips, but then he moved to kiss the bottom of her eyes instead.
Her eyelids and the sides of her nose could feel that scalding heat, and it felt like her whole face was burning up.
“I might do something wrong at this rate,” Wei Zilin murmured, his warm voice now laced with a deep and hoarse edge. It was taut, like a string on an instrument wound too tight, ready to snap at the slightest strum.
Xu Moyan’s hands trembled as they grabbed his shirt. After his nap, his clothes were no longer as immaculate as they were this morning.
His tie had long since vanished, and his collar was wide open, revealing his collarbone within as well as a small patch of white skin under that. His shirt was even a little wrinkled from her grip.
Add that to his gruff voice right now, and he was the perfect image of someone wrought with desire.
The tip of Xu Moyan’s felt a little hot, and she remembered what the fans mentioned about his voice at the height of passion. They were not even at that stage yet, but this man’s voice was already so tempting and seductive. If they really... got to that, she probably would not be able to resist him at all.
Wei Zilin held her waist and waited a while for her to regain her strength. Finally, he chuckled softly. “Can you stand on your own now?”
Xu Moyan rolled her eyes at him. “I could initially, but then you seduced me with your voice again, and now my legs feel weak again.”
Her words made Wei Zilin laugh, his voice deep and melodious like the string of a low note reverberating slowly. It was a little deep, a little crisp, and carried with it an unending vibrato.
