Chapter 695 695 Griffin Temple

695 Chapter 695 “Griffin Temple“

Li Shi Ying saw the figure only stood in front of the temple for a while before suddenly disappear, seemingly already entered the temple.

"What’s wrong?" Seeing Li Shi Ying was in a daze, Gu Zhong turned his head around and asked Li Shi Ying out of concern. It’s the first time he saw Li Shi Ying dazed into empty air.

"I saw someone entering the temple but that person is gone now. I only saw the figure...sadly I can’t see this person’s face" Li Shi Ying sighed as she answered Gu Zhong. She was a bit worry that now someone entered the temple what if this person also wanted to get the golden cloud plant?

"We must hurry then. This person might come to get the plant" Gu Zhong face turned serious as he speeds up his walking pace. They were still a bit far away from the temple but five minutes walking should be enough.

Li Shi Ying also followed behind Gu Zhong after she attached a ’speed’ talisman on her body. She knew many people must want to get the cloud plant but to see her rival right in front of her eyes like now...feels a bit irritating.

5 minutes later...

"Okay, we’re here. You have to jump quite high to enter the temple" Gu Zhong stopped right in front of the entrance of the temple.

"So big!" Li Shi Ying gasped in awe as she raised her head to take a better look at the majestic temple floating in front of her eyes. This was the first time she saw a temple but this temple was really like what she imagined it would be.

The temple itself looked like the ancient Greek temple built to serve God or Goddess. The temple was white in colour with gold as decoration in all the pillars. The sunlight would shine upon the gold creating a beautiful glimmer for anyone who saw it.

"Yes, it’s indeed big. Just look at how many pillars this temple has" Gu Zhong nodded his head also admiring the temple for a while even though they were in a hurry.

Just like what Gu Zhong said, There were 8 main pillars in the temple. Quite a lot for a temple in the middle of a forest. Each of the pillars had a huge diameter, as big as a giant tree’s trunk.

"Let’s go in...huh? There’s no door?" Li Shi Ying was about to ask Jiu Wei to help her with the jump when she realizes that there wasn’t any door in the temple.

There was no door leading to the temple! The temple was open freely. People could just enter through the space between the 8 pillars.

"Usually there would be dozen of guard beasts guarding the space" Gu Zhong already knew that the temple indeed looked very lacked in its security but there should be three meters high beast guarding each space between the pillars.

Just where were those beasts? It’s impossible for them to let the temple unguarded even if the sacred beast was inside. Wait...speaking of the sacred beast he didn’t feel the usual menacing pressure coming from the temple.

Could it be the sacred beast wasn’t in the temple?

"Gu Zhong? Come up!" Li Shi Ying’s voice suddenly startled Gu Zhong who haven’t jumped even after a while. Li Shi Ying had jumped with the help of her four sacred beasts but Gu Zhong didn’t move at all and seemed to be in another deep thought.

What’s wrong with Gu Zhong, he was in a daze for several times already. She too felt suspicious that the time seemed too silent and without dangerous feeling but it’s not the time to think about that!

The person who came before might already get the golden cloud plant before they did.

"Right I’m coming" Gu Zhong quickly put aside his suspicion as he jumped, following after Li Shi Ying to enter the temple.

Griffin Temple.

"This place is so quiet" Li Shi Ying looked around the temple with an uneasy feeling. Is it just her imagination or this place was unusually silent?

The girl observed every corner of the temple to find out why the hell it was so silent without noise but what she saw was just the temple grand interior.

Starting from the ceiling made of white marble to the strange floating cloud which radiated a dim light. This place was unique in some sense. Now she observes closer...the temple was surrounded with cloud, isn’t it?

The floor was so soft and springy she felt as if walking on a trampoline. The floor was, in fact, looked like another white cloud but the texture was different. Aside from this, the temple itself was very empty without any other furniture.

There wasn’t any table, seat or anything except one big throne at the very back of the temple. But even the throne was empty. Next to the throne, there was a display table with its glass cover. There was a pillow made of red cloud or something but there was nothing on top of it.

Li Shi Ying squinted her eyes as she walked closer to the throne. There were three things she was curious about. The first one was the empty throne. It’s obvious that there should be a sacred beast sitting there right? But there was no one!
