Ms. Doctor Divine

Chapter 1381 Responsibility

She shook her head. "There was a lot of coal at Qianqing Palace, which made me sweat."

Having said that, she went into the bathtub.

Hearing the answer, Sword One did not dig further, but got changed and helped her bathe.

Gu Chaoyan felt a little tired. So she sat in the tub with her eyes closed as Sword One helped her rub her back. At this moment, Sword One spotted a red, small wound on Elder Miss\' neck. She took a closer look at it and asked, "Elder Miss, what happened to your neck?"

Gu Chaoyan, who had had eyes closed, was about to talk about what happened to the neck when she stopped herself. She covered the wound and tilted her head, saying, "I am okay."

Having said that, she got up, flushing as she walked aside.

Sword One found Elder Miss a bit strange today, but she could not figure out what made her strange. So she said nothing and just tried to wipe the water from Elder Miss\' body and help her get changed.

Qing, who was outside, had already gotten the food prepared. It was very late so the food was quite simple. Gu Chaoyan ate everything. She was never particular about it.

After dinner, Gu Chaoyan felt tired and went to bed.

It was going to be a very busy day tomorrow. The King was going to get sick and get the imperial doctors to check him, but the imperial doctors could not do anything so he was going to ask for her. So she needed to have a good break now.

Zhou Huaijin left and went back to his own room after seeing that the light in Chaoyan\'s room was off.

Chaoyan was not feeling well today which made him nervous. Luckily, she was fine for the time being.

On the day when Chaoyan did not wake up, he had already ordered hidden guards of the Shadow Door to seek for Mr. Zhao. He only trusted Mr. Zhao to take care of Chaoyan physically, thus sparing no efforts to find him. During this time, there was a message which came back from Shadow Door, stating that Mr. Zhao was not very far away. So he was no longer too worried.

As Zhou Huaijin thought about this, he returned to his own room.

He had no servants around him, except for Fu Bao. When Fu Bao was busy with something else, he took care of himself as well. That was something he was used to.

Lying in bed, he heard the sound of a blizzard outside. It was not a peaceful night for him.

He was worried about the Saint Divine Land and Chaoyan so it took a long while before he fell asleep.

The following day…

Early in the morning, De Fu hurried towards her against the snow. He no longer looked as arrogant as before but urged anxiously, "Is your Elder Miss ready? The King is very sick and we should not delay."

De Fu looked really anxious.

Gu Chaoyan seemed very quiet when she came out. She asked confusedly as she looked at De Fu. "If I have been asked to go to the border, why do I need to go to court again?"
