Global Game: Ten Billion Spirit Energy Coins From The Start

Chapter 138: 138, [Voidwalker Kassadin] (Extra updates for the bounty of E Curry!) _1

After killing two Void Creatures, Tina sat cross-legged and began to absorb the energy that was dissipating from them.

Two minutes later, she opened her eyes.

“How do you feel?” Su Yu scanned Tina’s status panel with [Insight]. Tina was still at level 50, with no signs of leveling up.

“I feel…the power inside me is gradually solidifying.” Tina slowly explained while experiencing the changes:

“Because of my bloodline, I rose directly from level 1 to level 3. But this led to a serious problem – my basics were not strong enough. It was difficult for me to defeat opponents of the same tier like Marguerite, let alone challenge those from a higher tier.”

At this, the corners of Su Yu’s mouth twitched.

Marguerite was the Unicorn Coach and one of the most powerful individuals at their level. For a newbie who had just advanced to the third level, it was an impressive achievement to be able to defeat her, right?

Tina continued, “But after absorbing the energy here, I feel that my strength has become much more solid. My basics are becoming stronger and my battle power is increasing.”

With growing confidence in her heart, Tina said, “If I can absorb more energy here and truly strengthen my basics, not even two Marguerite Coaches combined could best me!”

“Well, then. Let’s try to kill as many monsters as possible so we can help you solidify your basics.” Su Yu replied, wiping sweat from his forehead. He hadn’t expected Marguerite to become a unit of measurement.

“Hmm,” Tina clenched her small fist, filled with fighting spirit.

Meanwhile, outside the portal to the high-level secret realm.

What was once a dark and quiet testing ground- the fourth underground level- now, was brightly lit, filled with countless shadows of people.

“Marguerite, did Tina really go in?” The Unicorn Commander, Grace, stared at the blue teleportation portal in front of her, frowning deeply.

Behind Grace stood seven or eight instructors, each with different expressions. Some were schadenfreude; some were sympathetic; some were indifferent, and some were contemplating what to have for lunch…

But on the surface, all the instructors were staring at Marguerite, putting pressure on her.

“I’m sorry, Commander,” Marguerite said low with her head down, explaining in detail what had happened.

In particular, she expanded on how Tina’s knight servant had misled her into entering the portal.

“Tina’s knight servant is a man?” Commander Grace was surprised. “Is his name Nemesis, perhaps?”

“Yes! How did you know that?” Marguerite was shocked. She hadn’t said Tina’s servant’s name before, right? Did the Commander have the ability to read minds?

“I was just guessing. I have met him before,” Grace replied as she brushed her hair behind her ears.

Navi Black Gold, a goblin merchant and Grace’s knight-wait Bear Andrew’s friend, had told her that he was nearly bankrupt due to a bet he had lost on Nemesis.

Trying to recoup his losses, Navi Black Gold colloquially entered into a “gambler mode”, lost even more and was now heavily in debt. Since then, “Nemesis” had been on his lips as though Nemesis was the cause for his devastating losses.

Additionally, during one of Dima’s missions, Grace had seen Nemesis with Tina and knew him somewhat. However, she hadn’t expected that Nemesis would become Tina’s knight servant.

“Ahem.” Grace coughed twice and forced her mind back to the matter at hand. “Marguerite, despite this matter not being entirely your fault, you must still bear some responsibility.”

“I know, Commander,” Marguerite replied, bowing her head deeply.

“I’ll punish you by… Well, if Tina comes out alive, you are off the hook. But if Tina is dead, according to the Legion rules, you’ll be fined a year’s salary. Do you have any objections?”

The stern expression on Marguerite’s face eased a bit as she answered, “No, Commander.”

Grace nodded, turning back to the high-level secret realm portal with a complicated look in her eyes.

“Tina, you have to come out alive! According to the last prophecy made by the great astrologer Stem before his death, you are the Empire’s last hope!

If this hope is extinguished, I will become a criminal in the Empire!”

Back in the Secret Realm.

This Secret Realm can be said to be a high-difficulty dungeon.

The three mini-bosses, [Soulbound Prophet], [Void Colossus], and [Spellbreaker Mask] are not only abundant in skills and powerful, but they also bring a group of followers, making them hard to defeat.

Luckily, the entire dungeon is interconnected, and does not just have one way, like most dungeons.

Su Yu and Tina started by leveling up on the lesser foes on the outskirts, allowing Tina to slowly enhance her strength.

Only after clearing all the smaller foes, did the two of them confront these mini bosses.

This trial dungeon does not offer Experience Points from defeating monsters. However, after defeating the 3 mini bosses, each boss dropped a [Void Stone].

[Void Stone (Normal)]: Enchanting item that provides a 3% chance for your attacks and skills to deal 30% of attack or spell power as true damage.

After being upgraded to epic quality, the [Void Stone]’s attribute increases to “12% chance to deal 120% of attack or spell power as true damage.”

When upgraded to legendary quality, the [Void Stone] gains an additional attribute: “3% chance to release [Void Imprisonment].”

It’s a decent enchanting material for weapons. It greatly improves multi-stage spells such as [Rain of Fire] and [Sequential Fireball].

After a bumpy ride, he and Tina finally arrived in front of the final boss-[Voidwalker Kassadin].

Kassadin, a 20 meters tall void spirit, wielded a dark purple lightsaber. He was clad in dark purple armor, with a blood-red cloak draped over his shoulders, obviously a tough boss to handle.

Of course, this boss was not his true form, just like [Desert Emperor Azir] in the Tree of Sorrow dungeon, it was just a projection.

“Tina, let’s do it the way we normally do,” Su Yu called out.

“Alright!”

Tina nodded, standing still, she began to charge her energy.

Su Yu also stood still, gathering his magic power, charging a [Thunderfall Skill] of multiple times the normal strength.

Once Su Yu had gathered his magic power to the maximum, he nodded at Tina.

Tina understood and, like a rocket, darted out.

Just a moment later, she came back leading a 20-meter-tall, massively built boss.

Within range, Su Yu quickly released the spell in his hand.

Ka-ching!

A massive thunderbolt descended from the void.

The thunderbolt hit the boss, instantly reducing its HP by 10%.

“His HP is so high! Or is it my magic resistance that’s high?” Su Yu’s eyes narrowed.

While dealing with the three mini-bosses, his single charged thunderbolt could shave off nearly 40% of their HP!

But with the final boss, it only did 10%, it seemed this boss wouldn’t be easy to handle!

The boss apparently noticed Su Yu.

He aimed at him with the tip of his sword and a huge purple-black magic sphere flew out of his sword at a rapid speed.

The magic sphere moved extremely quickly, almost instantly reaching Su Yu.

Su Yu’s eyes widened, he quickly used the [Flash Skill] to dodge to the side.

However, the magic sphere swirled in the air and formed a “7”, continuing its flight towards him after almost a 90-degree turn.

“Damn! A lock-on skill?!”

Su Yu was out of options this time and could only forcefully cast a quick [Lightning Shield]. He left the rest up to fate.

Buzz

The purple-black magic sphere hit Su Yu and completely swallowed him in the infinite void.
