Transmigrating as the Younger Sister of a Bigshot with Multiple Identities

Chapter 790: Isn’t This Sister Too Cool?

Gu Jin busied herself with making the bed, casting a disapproving glance at Qiao Manman before turning to Gu Yang. “Yangyang, could you pass me that pillow, please?”

“Sure, Sister.”

Gu Yang retrieved a pillow from Gu Jin’s belongings and handed it over.

The dormitory brimmed with beds, tables, lockers interspersed between, and bookshelves above.

Gu Yang and Gu Jin’s beds occupied the same side, connected by a ladder.

Observing the sisters, Qiao Manman quizzically remarked, “You two seem to be around the same age. Are you twins?”

Gu Yang responded with a chuckle, “No, we just happen to have the same parents.”

Qiao Manman’s expression shifted from puzzlement to disbelief. “Sharing the same parents… really?”

Just then, the door swung open with force, admitting two middle-aged women laden with belongings. Trailing behind them was a chic and stunning young woman, her attire and accessories adorned with the insignia of a renowned international brand, exuding an aura of elegance.

Before stepping inside, Gu Yang noticed the bedsheet pinned to the door, reminding her of their remaining roommate, Tong Jiayin.

Tong Jiayin’s bed occupied the space near the toilet, opposite Gu Jin’s.

Upon entering, Tong Jiayin promptly claimed Gu Yang’s chair as her own. Upon spotting the two attendants preparing to make the bed, she frowned and gestured towards Gu Yang’s vacant bed. “Hold on, I don’t want to be near the toilet. Make up this bed instead.”

The attendants dared not defy her command. “Certainly, Miss.”

Gu Yang furrowed her brow. “Beds in the dormitory have already been assigned. That’s my bed.”

Tong Jiayin glanced at her with indifference, her tone dripping with disdain. “Tell me, how much do you want before you agree to switch beds?”

Qiao Manman bristled at the audacity. “Is this about money? Who cares about your wealth? You can’t just claim someone else’s bed because you have money!”

Gu Yang restrained her. “Forget it, Manman. If she wants it, let her have it.”

Qiao Manman grimaced, feeling that this fairy’s demeanor was too passive, too easily intimidated.

But just as she was about to defend her friend, Tong Jiayin, with an otherworldly air, turned to Tong Jiayin with a solemn expression. “Judging by your demeanor, offering a low bid would be an affront to your status. How about this? I’ll part with this bed for a million yuan.”

“Are you trying to rob me?” Tong Jiayin’s demeanor shifted, realizing that a million yuan was no trifling sum, even for her wealth. Besides, spending such an exorbitant amount for a mere bed seemed ludicrous.

Gu Yang’s gaze remained innocent. “Huh? You don’t have that kind of money.”

Qiao Manman couldn’t contain her laughter. “If you’re broke, why pretend to be wealthy?”

Tong Jiayin seethed with humiliation, instructing the servant through clenched teeth, “Ignore them. Proceed with making the bed.”

Gu Yang interjected, “Attempted robbery?”

As the servant prepared to ascend the bed, Gu Jin descended from it, obstructing the path. The servants were left waiting for her to vacate the stairs.

With an icy glare, Gu Jin kicked aside Tong Jiayin’s belongings before striding over. She seized the chair and forcefully pushed Tong Jiayin down. “Get lost.”

Tong Jiayin rose from her seat, her face contorted with rage. She lashed out, slapping Gu Jin’s cheek. “Mind your own business!”

Gu Jin swiftly caught her wrist, applying a slight pressure to the joint, eliciting a pained grimace from Tong Jiayin. “Let go of me immediately!”

Witnessing Gu Jin’s steadfast stance, Tong Jiayin resorted to rallying the servants. “Why aren’t you intervening?”

Upon observing Tong Jiayin’s distress, the servants abandoned their tasks and rushed to her aid.

Gu Jin forcibly pushed Tong Jiayin aside. Before the servants could react, she seized them by the shoulders and effortlessly threw them to the ground. Then, with swift efficiency, she seized one in each hand and hurled them out the door. With a resounding thud, she slammed the door shut and bolted it.

Despite persistent knocking and kicking, the door remained firmly shut, denying them entry.

Tong Jiayin nursed her swollen wrist, staring at Gu Jin in disbelief.

Qiao Manman, too, stood in stunned silence. Wasn’t this sister’s sequence of actions too cool?
