Chapter 155: Wang Duyi, the lucky and unlucky man.
"Elder sister!" Huang Guo shouted in joy.
Huang Guo looked at her sister with tears of joy streaming down from the corner of his eyes. He had lost any traces of seeing his sister again. But now…
Su Yen looked at Huang Yin, and a sigh of relief escaped from his mouth. It would be a lie if he said he wasn\'t scared. The thought of never seeing his woman scared the life out of him.
Beside Huang Yin was Zimo. Zimo had lost any hope of coming out of the Land of Fallen. Since he was busy harvesting the herb garden, he had put his Spirit Comms in \'Do Not Disturb\' Mode, making him concentrate on his work.
But this made him almost forever buried in the garden. When he finally realized something was amiss, it was already too late.
With his top speed, he wouldn\'t have made it out. Still, he didn\'t give up and continued to rush toward the exit.
Luckily, he encountered Huang Yin on the way. With Huang Yin carrying him, they managed to come out in the nick of time.
\'That was close!\' He exclaimed in his heart and wiped off the beads of sweat from his forehead.
Huang Yin looked at the young man in white, and a bright smile appeared on her face.
Whoosh!
They disappeared from their location, and when they appeared, it was inside the ship.
"Do you miss me?" Huang Yin said with a light smile on her face as she looked at Su Yen.
"Hmm. Hmm." Su Yen nodded. "I never for once thought that I would never see you again." He reached out his hand and held her palm, caressing it gently.
Huang Yin\'s face reddened like a ripe tomato, ready to burst. She was extremely shy, feeling the thousand gazes on her, but she didn\'t want to miss the show of affection from her man. The thought of never seeing him again was what pushed her to never give up.
"I can see you have had a lot of fortuitous encounters," he teased as he smoothed her disheveled long hair.
"Hmm." She nodded like a little girl pampered by her parent.
Watching the display of affection displayed by their Sect master, everyone averted their gaze with a knowing look.
Huang Guo looked at his icy sister with his jaw dropped to the ground.
\'So sister can be this docile!\' He screamed in his mind.
As for the few females in the group, they were not jealous at all. They were only happy for Huang Yin for winning the heart of their sect master.
Just as the Barren Landers were rejoicing from the narrow escape of Huang Yin and Zimo, Wang Duyi couldn\'t contain the fury in his heart any longer.
Out of the thousands of people, only two hundred plus people returned. Even the Chu and Liu clan masters never returned.
With the strength of those two, how could it be possible for both of them to be unlucky at the same time?
They must have been killed by the Barren Landers.
He walked on the sea toward the Barren Landers\' ship, full of killing intent.
He didn\'t care about the Chu and Liu clan masters. What he cared about was his people that never returned.
Even with his new strength, for him to cultivate those that never came out, it would cost him a lot of resources and, most importantly, time.
And time, he didn\'t have. To make up for his loss, he must capture a couple of the strong ones of the Barren Land and plant a slave seal on them.
With all these thoughts running in his mind, he failed to notice the eerily quietness of the sea.
"Where are my people?" He asked coldly.
"If you don\'t give me back my people, you can forget about leaving here alive." He added arrogantly.
His cultivation of Early Core Refinement stage 1 was fully on display.
He could have chosen to fly, but his cultivation was unstable at the moment. Any kind of force on his core could harm his future cultivation.
Therefore, he refrained from using all his strength, believing that using eighty percent of his power was enough to defeat a bunch of weak Barren Landers.
On the ship, Su Yen and everyone turned to look at Wang Duyi as if they were looking at a fool.
"Who\'s going to do it?" Su Yen asked lazily.
With their bloodline, anyone from Qi Refinement could kill this proud old man.
Therefore, he didn\'t take the threat seriously.
Elder Feng wanted to finish his battle with Wang Duyi, but a person beat him to it.
"I\'m exhausted. Let\'s do this quickly," Zimo said casually.
Wang Duyi froze. He looked at the peak of Qi Refinement warrior in front of him with an unsightly expression on his face.
Even though, Zimo didn\'t go out to find fortuitous chances.
Nevertheless, the herb garden contained many rare flowers that a couple of them boosted his cultivation to a large degree.
If not for the urgent need to leave the Land of Fallen, he would have broken through to the Foundation Building realm.
He stood a couple of meters from Wang Duyi and unsheathed his sword. It was then he heard Su Yen\'s voice.
"Do it quick. You need to kill those ones."
"Alright, sect master." Zimo nodded with a solemn expression on his face, as if he had received an imperial command.
Wang Duyi was furious, veins protruding from his forehead, his eyes bloodshot.
When was the last time he was looked down on like this? And from who? From ants.
His aura exploded, and he rushed toward Zimo. "Die!"
Whoosh!
The air trembled, and a massive palm attack in the sky. The pressure from the attack was so suffocating that those of the Outlanders cowered in fear.
A slight trace of hope appeared in their eyes. \'Perhaps… Perhaps… he can do it.\' They thought.
They were about to finish their hopeful thought when a phantom pagoda appeared behind Zimo.
"Elemental - Blood Repression."
And behold, the unimaginable happened.
The powerful, intimidating palm slowed down in the sky, and Wang Duyi suddenly came to a halt.
An unprecedented pressure descended on him like a massive mountain.
\'What the….\' He didn\'t finish his thought when Zimo moved.
Today, the Outlanders witnessed why the Barren Landers would be a fearsome tribe in the future.
Alas, they won\'t live to tell the tale.
