Chapter 38: Master?
The butler, despite his high position as the Viscount's butler, knew his place. He had no right or level to judge Amelia, not only was she his daughter but one he dots on very much. He sighed and kept whatever thoughts were running through his mind to himself.
Leon stood by her side, his presence steady and reassuring. He gently squeezed her hand, a silent reminder that he was there for her.
To lighten her heavy heart further, the Viscount took a step closer, his tone gentle but firm. Placing his hands on her shoulders, he whispered in her ear, "Amelia, you've been through a lot, more than most can imagine. There's no need to feel ashamed. What matters is that you're safe and well."
Amelia nodded, her fingers rubbing Leon's hand faster, a silent plea in her touch. Leon understood her intent immediately: 'Let's get out of here fast.'
He smiled and, receiving a nod of approval from the Viscount, began to walk away, holding Amelia's hand gently. Amelia followed him closely, her tension slowly easing with each step.
The Viscount watched them with a slight smile, shaking his head. 'Amelia is a strong woman, but this situation is just too unnatural and embarrassing. Any woman would feel the same in her shoes.'
Seraphina, meanwhile, had been subtly glancing at Amelia's crotch the entire time. With her spirit sense, she could feel the thick powerful yang Qi in her pussy left unabsorbed by Amelia's yin physique, it shocked her deeply.
Too bad, Amelia doesn't know any dual cultivation skill book, or she would have utilized the immense yang Qi to increase her cultivation.
As they walked past her, she couldn't help but gulp loudly. 'Such immense yang qi,' she thought. 'It's no surprise that Leon was able to suppress her yin physique; his yang is too godly.' She was no longer sure of Leon's cultivation base. 'His cultivation must be higher than what I can even dream of, but how could he have such high cultivation and look so young?'
A sense of foreboding crept to heart as this thought came to her mind.
While it was true that higher cultivation slowed aging, someone with such a high level should look at least middle-aged. 'Is he an old hermit in disguise after coming out of cultivation?' she wondered.
With this thought in her mind, she looked at Leon with a newfound respect, her eyes gleaming. 'Meeting a master with a much higher cultivation than mine is unprecedented. I have to discreetly show my respect.'
'Should I reveal that he's a hermit with high cultivation to Amelia? No, I definitely shouldn't. It would be like provoking a master. Oh no...'
Seraphina's thoughts were interrupted by a sudden memory: the scene of her releasing her domineering aura on Leon when the Viscount brought him to her office. She had already 'provoked' him back then.
Her mind tensed. 'What should I do? What should I do?'
She wanted to slap herself for her blatant stupidity. Even after Leon didn't react to her aura, she hadn't thought much about it. How careless could she be?!
'As expected of a master with such a high realm of cultivation, it's no wonder he didn't react to the aura of my cultivation base. It's insignificant to him,' she thought, she've always wondered why but now, it was all begining to make sense. But this realization only solidified her guess and made her panic even more.
For the first time in many years, her heart was beating loudly and rapidly, as if trying to leap out of her chest
As they continued walking, Leon's reassuring presence made Amelia feel a bit more at ease. He felt like teasing Amelia to lighten the mood but sensed she wasn't in the mood for it just yet. Instead, he flashed her a gentle smile. "Where do you suggest we go?" he asked.
"A restaurant," Amelia replied, her eyes glimmering at the thought of having a romantic meal with Leon.
Leon smiled knowingly. When he asked, he had already anticipated this answer. Regarding her house in ruins, Leon didn't dwell on it much. Given the existence of magic in this world and the fact that Amelia didn't seem even slightly concerned about the destroyed house, he could only speculate that house rebuilding or construction here was at least a million times faster than it is on Earth.
"Well, lead the way, my beloved. I have no idea which way to go," Leon said, his tone teasing.
"Of course," Amelia replied, walking ahead while still holding his hand, dragging him along the pathways.
As they walked, Amelia's eyes darted around nervously, the last remnants of her earlier embarrassment still clinging to her. The cobblestone streets were bustling with activity, the market vendors calling out their wares, and the occasional noble carriage passing by. The afternoon sun cast a bright, cheerful light over the estate.
Suddenly, Amelia noticed two familiar figures approaching from a distance. Her mood soured as she recognized her sisters, Elara and Felicia. They reminded her of the embarrassment she had just faced a few moments ago.
Elara and Felicia walked briskly towards them, their faces a mix of curiosity and concern. Amelia felt the tension between herself and Leon rise once more, knowing that an encounter with her sisters was inevitable.
"Amelia! We heard about the blizzard. What happened?" Elara asked, her eyes wide with shock.

A/N:
Felicia's name was once Seraphina, due to it clashing with the Sect Leader's name I changed it it due to her being an insignificant side character. The chapter with her name mentioned as Seraphina would be edited and changed to Felicia. And also, since I didn't get the reply I seek in the last chap, I decided to do things my way...
And hehe 😂 without even doing anything Leon has gotten himself a sex slave, what do you, isn't this genius. It's unique and unlikely to be seen anywhere in webnovel 😂
