Chapter 41 - 41: The Forum Exploded!

Because the guy in the last post said he had already downloaded the video and has it in his possession. Countless requests for reposting the video were left as messages in the thread.

“I don’t know who Literati Saucy Poet is, but he definitely is a master! How did he manage to get such video! Although the administrators delete quickly, the post will be quickly re-uploaded by Savvyer Mitchell as long as they don’t suspend the account.”

This thread’s owner is apparently a master himself. You can tell just by his ID, Rascal Young. He occupies the second floor of his own live broadcast thread where he communicates with the people below by constantly editing his post.

Ethan Howard saw that this post did not violate any forum regulations and thus did not delete it, or perhaps he just didn’t want to delete it deep down.

Soon after Rascal Young edited his post, a new post with the same title popped up in the forum as soon as it was refreshed. The forum was currently active with at least a thousand people. As soon as this post appeared, everyone knew the perpetrator was back.

Many people clicked onto it. Some jumped right into watching the video, while some shrewd folks clicked to download it.

Ethan Howard obviously saw it too. Although he didn’t want to delete it, he clicked delete immediately. Such post cannot be kept without care.

However, the more Ethan Howard deleted, the more people in the forum cursed. Countless people were cursing the administrator, questioning if they were still students of F University. As a forum administrator, you need to have a steadfast heart. So, Howard simply ignored the posts and deleted them all when he was free.

At this moment, Robert Thomp, who was sitting smugly in his office, was startled by his assistant who burst into the office. Before he could yell out in shock, the assistant stammered, “Director Thomp, something is wrong. Look at the school’s forum. Someone has posted…posted…” The assistant didn’t know how to finish his sentence.

“Posted what?!” A bad premonition rose in Robert Thomp’s heart. “Posted…your videos with some female students…” The assistant gritted his teeth and finally revealed the news.

Thomp was taken aback for a moment and then his face turned pale instantly. Not bothering to reprimand the assistant, he immediately turned on his computer and entered the school’s forum. As the head of the computer science department, Robert Thomp wasn’t ignorant. He had studied this field thoroughly during his university years.

Upon entering the forum, he saw hot topics everywhere. Thomp’s eyes reddened instantly and his face paled further as new posts popped up, including the one posted by Finn Lewis. Thomp clicked on it, not bothering to download the video and started watching it.

After buffering, the first scene appeared. Thomp’s face paled instantly. How could he not recognize something he himself had shot? He even admired it quite a few times, so naturally, he knew what the content of these videos were. But now, his videos were being broadcasted! An intangible fear gripped Thomp’s heart.

However, after only about ten seconds, the video was terminated. Thomp reflexively refreshed the page and saw that the post had been deleted. This seemed to remind Thomp of something. He jumped up, reached his phone, and dialed a number. As soon as the phone was connected, he roared, “What is everyone doing? If this thing blows up, you all can forget about graduating!”

Robert Thomp had naturally called the student managers in charge of the forum. Thomp’s influence was still considerable. All administrators were quickly online and began to delete the posts rapidly. Not only Finn’s post, but all posts discussing this matter were also deleted.

He promptly registered a new account and immediately posted the prepared post.

Now, eight administrators were watching the forum. They had system message prompts so that they would be notified as soon as new posts appeared. Therefore, Lewis’s post was immediately deleted by the administrators seven to eight seconds after it was published. They then blocked the account.

“Shut down the registration process!” the administrators said in a discussion group. Most of the forum administrators were from the computer club, known to be the owners of the forum.

Now, new registrations were not just being done by Finn Lewis. Because the administrators began to block accounts en masse, many angered students were re-registering and even started uploading videos to help Finn.

The overall master administrator of the forum, Flame Nation, directly issued a command in the discussion group to close the registration channel. Only he and two other sub-master administrators had this authority. Ordinary administrators like Ethan did not have this power.

Finn Lewis was the first to discover that he could not register a new forum account, as he planned to register a few more at once. But when he was about to register a new one after registering Literati Saucy Poet 12, he discovered that the register option had turned grey.

The chaos in the forum finally eased a bit. Because the administrators were blocking numerous accounts and had now closed the registration channel, no new accounts could appear. The remaining people were astute and did not post anymore. But the forum’s attention level did not decrease at all. Almost every F University student was concerned about this matter.

Many teachers found it suspicious that students were more focused on their phones than on the lecturers. Some teachers asked the students directly what was happening, while others checked their own mobile phones to investigate, as any significant event would most likely have been shared in the class group or friend circle..
