Chapter 113 Lady Elmara Favor
Alex knew that Cordelia was extremely talented as she had no legacy and still reached the peak of the Sixth Rank while mastering two elements at the mere age of forty-two while being a vampire.
Alex was surprised by Cordelia mastering two elements to such a high level because vampires were known to have a very bad affinity with any element other than the blood element making it very rare for them to use a different element, let alone master it to a very high level.
'I can't accept her as my slave in any condition, but building a good relationship with her will be a good idea.' Alex thought, silently standing and waiting for lady Elmara to finish her tests on Cordelia so they could leave.
Varon hadn't left the research center with Alex because he planned to drop Cordelia at the vampire clan main castle because it was too far away from this place, and Cordelia couldn't travel that far in her current condition.
'I wonder what her reaction would be if I showed her the Nekrós Legacy item?' Alex thought, remembering the first legacy item he acquired.
Alex acquired the legacy item after clearing the Forechester castle hidden chamber, but to use it, he needed to complete the quest given by Clifford Forechester, which was no easy task as it required him to find and kill an unknown demon Noble.
Alex was not thinking of showing lady Elmara the legacy item belonging to an advanced ancient civilization just to get his little payback but to be on her good side and slowly establish a good relationship knowing her expertise could help him tremendously.
'The more important question is, can lady Elmara even gain anything from the legacy item as it is currently sealed?' Alex thought as he found a bigger problem with his plan.
All legacy items were sealed until an individual cleared their requirements to become the legacy holder, and even after an individual acquired the legacy, he wouldn't have access to all the benefits, but he would slowly gain them as he achieved more milestones.
'I believe it is possible to forcefully bypass the restriction if one is stronger enough, but I wonder if lady Elmara could do that as Ai Zero is responsible for sealing the legacy.'
'If the sealed legacy item could gain lady Elmara's interest, then great if not, I can just clear the restriction and unseal it.'
'I am confident that the remaining two hidden chambers of the Forechester castle should lead me to the demon noble, but I will need to prepare a lot before I can clear the two hidden chambers.' Alex thought, looking at the quest window.

'I should discuss my little plan with Varon to know if it will work or not.' Alex thought as he walked toward Varon.
"I want to discuss something in private," Alex said to Varon, and he immediately opened a portal without asking any questions.
Alex walked into the portal that took him back to the room filled with creepy specimens, but he didn't look at them and waited for Varon to arrive.
After Varon arrived, Alex quickly took the golden ball from his inventory and handed it to him.
'I wonder what kind of benefits Varon's magical eyes provide him.' Alex thought as he watched Varon's eyes change from normal to pitch black with a straight white line in the middle of the eyes.
After examining the legacy item for a few seconds, Varon's eyes returned to normal, but he kept staring at the golden ball with a smile that intrigued Alex's interest.
"What do you think about this sealed legacy item?" Alex asked, seeing him not saying anything.
"This is a priceless treasure," Varon said with a smile.
"You know about its origin?" Alex asked, knowing Varon knew more than he did to make him look this happy.
"This legacy item holds the abundance of knowledge related to the advance human civilization that caused their destruction with their greed, but it is still a priceless treasure as it had beneficial lost knowledge stored in it," Varon said as he returned the legacy item to Alex.
"Domain Ruler, you are really lucky to have discovered this legacy item because there should be very few legacies related to the lost human civilization left in the world as the demon king erased everything related to them," Varon said.
"You can uncover the information inside this legacy item?" Alex asked the question that would decide the success of his little plan.
Alex was interested in knowing about the history of the advanced human empire, but he was with Varon for less than a day and knew nothing about his personality.
Varon was answering all his inquiries without rejecting them, but Alex still wanted to avoid asking unnecessary questions, as the knowledge gained from such questions would be useless and only make him look bad.
"The Watcher has sealed the legacy item, so acquiring the legacy without meeting the requirement is impossible or without his permission, and as for the information, it is also sealed in separate stages and will unlock after the legacy holder meets certain conditions."
"But It will not be impossible to unlock the first few sealed information stages and gain some valuable information," Varon replied after a small pause.
'This is great news.' Alex thought with a smile, knowing that with lady Elmara's personality, she would want the legacy item to do her research.
"Domain Ruler, you want to lend this legacy item to Lady Elmara to gain her favor?" Varon asked, guessing his plan.
"I know that with Lady Elmara's strength, it will take me forever to fulfill her condition, so the only way to gain her favor quickly should be by providing her with something she will be interested in," Alex replied as he placed the golden ball back into his inventory.
"It is a good idea to lend the legacy item to Elmara, as she will be very grateful to you for giving her the opportunity to research lost knowledge," Varon said as he opened a new portal.
"Varon, What Rank will I need to reach to meet Lady Elmara's gaze?" Alex asked.
"You don't need to worry about ever meeting her condition because she is too interested in the unique things from Ruler shop to leave you alone," Varon said with a wary smile.
'I am not surprised that someone like her will be interested in the things from Ruler shop when it could provide things like the nirvana elixir.' Alex thought as he entered the portal.
After returning to the main lab room, Alex silently waited for lady Elmara to get free from her test to give her the legacy item.
After waiting patiently for twenty minutes, the tests were done, and Varon was told to take Alex and Cordelia and leave the lab immediately.
"Lady Elmara, I have this legacy item that might be of interest to you," Alex said as he took the golden ball out of his inventory.
'I wonder if she used teleportation magic or some other ability.' Alex thought, seeing the legacy item vanishing from his hand.
"This looks interesting..... very interesting." Lady Elmara said after she examined the legacy item for a few seconds.
"Domain Ruler, I will keep this legacy item until I am done with my research, but as payment, I will help you if I am not too busy with my work." Lady Elmara said with a smile.
'She looks more pleased than I thought, and surprisingly she even called me domain Ruler,' Alex thought, seeing Lady Elmara's reaction after checking the legacy item.
As there was no reason to stay any more time, Varon opened a portal that led straight to the vampire's main household, and in a few seconds, Alex was standing at the front gate of a massive castle.
'This place looks amazing.' Alex thought as he looked at the breathtaking view around him.
Alex was standing in front of a castle built at the edge of a cliff, and looking to the side, he could see that the cliff was hundreds of meters high, and at the bottom of the cliff, he could spot a bustling city.
'I wonder what this area's night and day cycle is.' Alex thought, looking at the clear sky filled with shining stars.
Alex didn't know about the night and day cycle of the Malefis Domain but knew that continent was too big not to have areas with different night and day cycles as even the human continent that less than a third of its size had many areas with different night and day cycles.
