Chapter 80 Chosen Champions Guild
Vlad had a handsome face with long pitch-black hair that reached all the to his back, and he was a giant of a man, with his height reaching close to seven feet, and his physique was very muscular but aesthetic.
"Vlad, You have asked this question for the tenth time, and my answer is the same one I gave you the first four times," Badger replied calmly, drinking wine from a big glass.
"I am going to break your face if you keep giving me that ugly grin," Vlad said as visible veins could be seen on his forehead.
"Vlad, I will not introduce you to the organization if you can't keep your temper in check," Badger replied with a cheeky grin as he placed the wine glass on the table.
"As I told you before, You can go and complete your deal with that shady organization, and after they offer you a slave contract in exchange for three no legacies, I will make my entry to save you as I am told to do by the Uncle," Vlad replied as he picked up the wine bottle on the table and started drinking it like clean water.
"Vlad, you will not do anything until I send a message for help, and if you ruined my deal, you know the consequences you would face," Badger said in a cold tone as he picked his wine glass back.
"I don't know why you trust that fake organization so much when even the Apollo Merchant does not have any information on this Shadow Oblivion organization," Vlad said, not minding cold threats.
"I know Apollo Merchant claims to have every information for a price, but even they can't tell me who was trying to kill my game avatar, and this so-called fake organization told me that information that Apollo Merchant hasn't discovered even to this day," Badger replied.
"I know you have some explanation to prove me wrong, but let's not drag this discussion, as we will both know the truth in two hours," Badger said as he closed his eyes while swirling the wine in his glass.
Badger knew why his friend Vlad and his father didn't trust his words and believed the organization to be just a scam, and they were not wrong in their beliefs because even Vlad guild, which was ranked fourth, couldn't produce three [SS] Rank legacies to sell.
'I just hope everything about the organization is true.' Badger thought as he took deep breaths to calm his raging emotion down.
After the heated conversation, Vlad didn't talk about anything, and just like that, one hour was gone, and now Badger was ready to leave the room to find the truth he was desperately waiting to uncover.
"Alden, are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" Vlad said, seeing Badger ready to leave.
"Vlad, You know me for years. Did you ever see me make stupid decisions?" Badger questioned with a smile.
"Alden, If you feel anything suspicious, you should immediately message me, and the next thing you do is log out, and I will take care of everything," Vlad said with a wide smile.
Badger left the room straight toward the hotel's first floor as he was told in the message he received from the organization to ask the receptionist to lead him to his destination,
-------------------------
"Noble Sir, Your guest has arrived." A hotel staff lady entered the room and announced the arrival of the Badger to Alex.
"I appreciate your help," Alex said with a gentle smile as he stood up from his seat and walked toward the staff lady and Badger.
"I would appreciate it if you could also guide my next guest to this room," Alex said as he handed the staff lady a magic pouch with one hundred gold coins.
"Thanks for your generosity." The lady replied happily, and as her work was done, she quickly left the room.
"Mr.Badger, Let's get comfortable and have some nice tea before we discuss business," Alex said as he walked back to his seat.
'He must be at a higher position in the organization as his aura is equal to the Third Rank warrior.' Badger thought as he followed Alex's lead.
After sitting on the sofa, Alex poured tea into two cups and pushed one toward Badger, who was silently sitting, not saying anything waiting for Alex to introduce himself.
"I will start by introducing myself," Alex said after finishing his cup of tea.
"My name is Famir, a fourth Rank member of the Shadow Oblivion organization." Alex introduced his Rank, starting his plan.
While Alex and Badger were introducing themselves to each other, Vlad was having a meeting with his guild members.
-------------------------
After Badger left the room, Vlad sent a message in a group chat, and within a few seconds, more than forty players entered the room he was in, making the spacious room very crowded.
"Guild Master, When do we demolish this hotel?" A player with two giant hammers hanging on his back asked in his booming voice.
"Iron, If Guild Master wanted to demolish this hotel, our assistance would be unnecessary." A man wearing a long silver cloak said as he took the front seat of Vlad.
"Guild Master Vlad, What the matter? are we going to war or just some casual raid?" The man asked as he took two cups and a tea pod from his inventory, filling one for himself and one for Vlad.
"Mike, we need to catch some rats," Vlad replied calmly.
"What do we need to do to catch these rats?" Mike questioned, not asking for any details about the situation or the people they needed to catch.
"I want you to appoint every member here in a position so that the whole hotel and one hundred meters around it are completely sealed," Vlad said as he picked up the teacup.
"How much time do we have?" Mike asked while every member patiently listened to the conversation.
"You should do it quickly, as the rats should try to escape after a few minutes," Vlad replied.
After getting his order, mike quickly started assigning every member to his position, and in less than two minutes, all guild members were appointed to their locations, and they were ready to leave.
"After I sent the message in the group chat, no player should leave the hundred-meter radius in any condition," Vlad said, and the guild member started leaving the room in an organized manner.
------------------
"So the meeting is being held in VIP room number seven," Vlad said with a wicked smile as he received a message.
'My dear friend, I only promised not to ruin your deal, but I never promised not to spy in your meeting.' Vlad thought as he used an invisibility skill and left toward the meeting room.
'A Rank three Intangibility potion should do the trick.' Vlad thought, standing outside the meeting room.
As its name sound, an Intangibility potion gives the user the ability to phase through solid objects without any problem, and the potion effect duration was decided based on its Rank and quality.
Vlad took out a potion bottle with a transparent liquid inside, and without any delay, he drank it and stepped toward the door to phase through it, but an invisible wall stopped him inches before he touched the room door.
'These Fu***er have made some preparation to stop anyone from spying.' Vlad thought with an annoyed expression.
'I need to waste a Rank fifth Intangibility potion if I want to pass this mana barrier.' Vlad thought with an angry expression as he took out a new potion bottle and drank it and then again tried to phase through the door, but the result was the same.
'These Fu***ing Rats have used a Mana barrier of fifth Rank?' Vlad thought with a surprised look.
'I should ask Alden what is going on inside.' Vlad quickly tried to call Badger, but his expression turned from annoyed to serious after no response, even after a few calls.
'Why the hell is Alden not picking up the call? Even if he is paralyzed, he should be able to use his system,' Vlad thought of different scenarios for Alden silence.
'What if Alden is experiencing a High-Rank illusion?' Alex thought, and immediately, his expression changed from serious to pure panic.
'Guys, seal the area.' Vlad sent the message to the group chat.
'I knew from the start sending Alden to meet these shady scammers alone was a big mistake.' Vlad thought as he took a few steps back from the door.
'I will rip these fucker apart.' Vlad thought as his height increased from seven feet to ten feet, his muscle size grew rapidly and then contracted, increasing his strength by multiple folds.
