Chapter 75 Business Deal

"I do have a little request that I want to make, and I would be very grateful If you could help me with my request," Yanric said in a nervous tone.

"If your request is not too time-consuming, I will consider it."

"Sir, I want you to help buy a shop in the inner area of the Capital City [Quivira] using your Noble authority." Yanric slowly said and then waited for Alex's reaction to his request.

"You are a Beastmen?"

Alex asked such a question because Yanric request was something only a Beastmen would make from a Noble.

In the human continent, the Beastmen Race people required the backing of a Noble with an Earl or higher authority before they could get qualified to buy any land in their name and do business.

The black market was the only place where the Beastmen could do business without getting jailed, as the city of sunken diamond was free from those laws that banned them from doing business on the human continent.

The Laws against Beastmen were created a few centuries ago, right after the white flame kingdom destroyed the only Beastmen proxy kingdom and united the whole continent, establishing itself as the only Empire and naming it as the human continent.

The Laws that banned humans from owning land and ever becoming a Noble on the beast continent were created first, and to show no weakness, the newly established human Empire established the same laws.

"Yes, I have a member of the [Taweret Clan]," Yanric said hesitantly.

'He is a member of the Taweret Clan?' Alex was surprised after hearing the Yanric clan name because Taweret was one of the fourteen Royal Clans that ruled the beast continent.

'He should be a member with a very low bloodline purity.' After thinking for a moment, Alex came to a conclusion that made the most sense to him.

In All Beastmen Royal Clans, every member's future potential and status depended on the purity of his bloodline.

If the bloodline purity of a clan member was not up to the clan standard, he would only be a Royal clan member in name and nothing more, as he would need to leave the clan and make his living.

The Beastmen were just intelligent creatures who could switch to human and pure beast form as they wished from their birth, and that was the only difference that separated them from the savage beast wandering the jungles.

"You don't have any characteristics of a Real Beastmen?" Alex asked because he knew that even in human form, Beastmen have prominent features that separate them from humans and even the Demi-Humans.

The Demi-Humans were not descendants of humans and beastkins, but they were a completely different race, with their origin dating back to the earliest known record.

There is not much information about Demi-Humans, but it is believed that they are an ancient variant species of beastmen Race who have evolved more toward the human and have lost the ability to change into their pure beast forms.

"My father is a Pure Blood BeastMen, and my mother is a Demi-Human with a very high purity bloodline of Moon Werewolf."

"My parents controlled tremendous strength, but I am a failure who inhered nothing from my father nor my mother's bloodline," Yanric said in a sad tone.

"My friend, we don't control our destiny, so be happy with what you have and enjoy your life while you can, as things will never stay the same."

Alex said what he felt right as he was the same in his previous life living with the constant reminder of what he could have achieved if things were only a little different.

But after losing everything in his previous life in just a few years, he regretted not protecting what he had and chasing after what he couldn't change.

"Sir, I apricate your gentle words, and believe me, I am very happy with my life and thankful to god for giving me a much better life than many other unfortunate people in the world," Yanric said with a genuinely happy smile.

'If only I had understood and believed these words in my previous life, many things could have been much better.' Alex thought, understanding the deep wisdom in Yanric words.

"Sir, I am willing to complete any reasonable demand of yours if you could back me do business on the human continent," Yanric said, giving Alex the right to make his demands.

"Yanric, you understand that my Noble authority will be revoked if you do anything illegal on the human continent?" Alex asked the critical question that made it almost impossible for Beastmen people to convince any Noble to risk their titles for them.

There were close to zero nobles with the title of Earl or higher who were willing to take the risk to earn some profits that they gained from some other business without risking their Noble authority.

"Sir, I am willing to take a blood Oath that I will never do any illegal business intentionally that could harm you," Yanric replied quickly to Alex's question.

'A Blood Oath would be a nice safeguard to keep him in check, but It would only stop him from doing things I want him to do.'

A Blood Oath was a promise that, if broken, would immediately kill the oath-taker in a very painful way.

"I don't need you to take any Blood Oath, but I have a few demands."

"I want you to give me the first right to buy the best high Ranking beast meat and evolution ingredients that you would get from the beast continent or any other source at the market price," Alex stated his demand and waited for Yanric to digest the information.

The beast Continent was filled with high-Ranking beasts and rich in deposits of beast evolution ingredients, and because of that, their price on the beast continent was ten times lower than the human continent.

The ingredients on the beast continent were very cheap, but an outsider could only purchase High Ranking ingredients in minimal quantity, and that is if one even could travel to the beast continent.

The only continent available to Players right now was the human continent, and going to any other continent required particular circumstances or very high authority.

Alex made Yanric such an offer because, as a beastmen, he just needed to pay the teleportation fee, and he could travel to the Beast continent, and using his clan influence, he could travel back to the human continent without any problem.

Yanric was a noble clan member and using that, he could purchase rare and high-ranking ingredients in bulk quantity from his clan without any restriction on the amount of the ingredients.

Alex didn't care if Yanric did some illegal stuff which caused him to lose his Noble authority because he knew more than enough methods to gain Noble authority easily.

Alex understood If he could get a large quantity of rare beast-related ingredients at a meager price while risking the Noble authority that he could gain with little effort, then it was a great deal for him.

"Yanric, You don't like my offer?" Alex asked, seeing Yanric looking at him with a blank face, not showing any emotion of being excited or displeased after hearing the offer.

"I am waiting for your other demands, Such as how much profit I need to share with you and some other demands you could have?" Yanric asked.

'He is willing to share profits he would make with me?' Alex questioned himself and looked at Yanric expression to see if he was being sarcastic.

Alex didn't even consider asking for a share in the profits Yanric would make in the future because he believed his first demand was excessive enough.

Alex first demand required Yanric to work as a free agent for him and sell him all the best ingredients he would get while making negligible profits.

'If he wants to give free money, who am I to deny that?'

"I will let you decide how much value me being an Earl in all three kingdoms has to you," Alex said, leaving the decision to Yanric, knowing he would try his best to make an that he couldn't deny.

"Sir, you will allow me to do business in all three human kingdoms using your Noble title?" Yanric asked, surprised by the statement.

Alex could play it safe and only let Yanric do business in the gold kingdom as if things did go wrong and his nobility did get revoked.

It would only happen in the gold kingdom, not affecting his nobility in the other two kingdoms and the Empire, Alex first planned to do that, but after hearing that he would get a share of the profits, he changed his mind.

"I have no problems with you doing business in all three human kingdoms, but I have one condition."

"I want you to hire only watcher-contracted people as workers at any position because I can trust you, but I can't trust the people you hire for work," Alex replied.
