Since 'Egg defense' has been leveled up to 40, it could now be used 2 times. It covered itself from fairy-type energy and formed a large egg as an outer layer.
It was hit again by the attack but this time, the power of the attack was a bit lower than before. The attack still cracked the defense open and Togetic was hit by the move yet again.
It crashed to the ground again and slowly stood up. The table had turned now. Salamence was now in the lead but after using 'Outrage' for 2 times, it was confused.
"Togetic, use the move 'Wish'", said Axel.
Since the move would take some time to realize, Axel told Togetic to use 'Flamethrower' once again. Salamence was confused, so it took the hit. It was flown off by the attack and it stabilized itself.
With the help of 'Wish', it could recover some of its Hp and now it was ready to strike again. Salamence was also out of confusion now and it was ready to strike.
It fired a 'Flamethrower', which Togetic was able to dodge, and then moved towards Togetic to use 'Dragon Claw'.
They fought for 3 more minutes and Togetic was able to dodge some of the moves and hit Salamence with some. Finally, Salamence decided that it should end the battle. So, it started to inhale a lot of dragon-type energy while Togetic was trying to dodge 'Rock Slide'.
After it inhaled, it threw out a powerful beam of dragon-type energy. The power of the move was very high and it had been timed in such a way that Togetic was not able to dodge the attack.

The move hit Togetic and it was flown off to the air and crashed to the ground. Many of them thought that the battle was over but Axel could see that Togetic was still trying to get up. It was only trying to stand due to pure willpower.
Unlike other Pokemons of Axel, Togetic didn't have a good defense. It had good health points but not good defense. So, after being hit by moves like 'Outrage' and 'Inhale' with other moves, it was already spent.
Axel also thought that the battle would be over. Even though it was standing up, it was already very wounded. At that time, a notification came.

The light blinded Salamence and others as no one could see anything. The move expanded and exploded everything around Togetic including Salamence.

Salamence was hit by the attack as it was trying to comprehend what had actually happened, Axel said, "Use 'Stored power'"
A huge wave of psychic came and hit Salamence again and this time it was not waking up. It had fainted.
The only reason why Togetic used the move 'Sunny day' was for 'Stored power' cause Salamence was already resistant to fire-type moves. It had stored powers of 2 'Nasty Plot', 'Sunny day', 'Wish' and 'Moonlight'. After storing a bit of all the powers and combining them, the power of the attack was very high for the injured Salamence to take.
'Stored power' had also leveled up to 40 and now the move was more fast and efficient. So, it could not even dodge the attack.
The crowd of Bagon, Shelgon, and Salamence who were roaring and shouting before stopped doing anything. There was a pin-drop silence. It took them a few seconds to even register in their minds that one of their tribe members had lost against a human-trained Pokemon.
Yes, it was a fairy type and dragon type was weak against it but it didn't really matter. They were dragon-type Pokemons and they were the apex of all of the Pokemons. How could one of them lose against a human-trained Pokemon.
"Togetic wins.", said the announcer in a low voice. The situation was very sad. It felt like someone had died there.
The announcer came back to life and said, "The human is requested to send out his next Pokemon."

"What is he doing? We had planned that his Shedinja would be fighting against the next Pokemon. Why did he choose Charizard?", asked Ram.
All of them were watching it from the waiting room of the stadium. They didn't want to go to the stadium where such powerful Pokemons were sitting.
At this time, Ron stepped in for Axel, "No, Axel did a good job."

"Our goal is not to win against them. Our goal is to get out of here alive. You saw the expression of those dragon-type Pokemons. If Shedinja had entered there for the fight, then it would have humiliated Salamence which would have made them from sad to angry.

"Who is interested in fighting against this Pokemon?", asked the announcer and multiple Salamence raised their hand to tell that they were ready.
Among all of them, one was selected for the battle. It looked like the announcer chose this Salamence randomly but that was not the case.
When it entered the stadium, the tribe started to shout its name.
"FALKOR!!! FALKOR!!! FALKOR!!!"

The shout was so loud that it was difficult to hear anything other than the name 'Falkor'.
Axel had an inkling that this Salamence was not so simple and the announcer didn't choose it so randomly. So, he checked its status page.

Axel's doubt was right. This was a very powerful Pokemon. It knew 4 new moves and two of them were a passive move. Axel didn't know what it did but it looked serious.
Its stats were also very high with 12k health points and its other stats were also up to the standard. It mainly focused on physical attacks.

Dragon domain: Salamence would create a ball of dragon-type energy and it would fly in the sky covering a huge part of the area. Inside the area, the power of its dragon-type moves would be heightened and its defense and attack would experience a massive rise.
Dragon mash: Can only use the move while using 'Dragon domain'. Salamence would create 10 copies of itself. Each would have 50% of the stats of the original and all of them could attack for the period of 1 minute. Consumes a large amount of stamina.
Inner focus: The focus of Salamence is very sharp, increasing the critical hit ratio and the power of its attack. It is unlikely to get confused during the battle.
White: It could store a lot of dragon-type energy inside its stomach and white ridges which it could use in the battle.

Axel knew for sure that this was going to be a tough battle. Make no mistake, he had absolute trust in his Charizard. Charizard was one of his strongest Pokemon but it was fighting against a powerful and talented dragon-type Pokemon.
He mentally crushed himself for letting it use the move 'Transform'. If he had not been told to use it, then this battle would basically be over in a few minutes.
Axel was worried about the move 'Dragon mash'. Charizard would have to survive 1 minute while fighting against 10 Salamence that had 50% of the stats of the original. He had to properly plan for it.
'Charles, let's get serious. This is going to be a ride. First, use your 'Sunny day' and 'Dragon dance'.', said Axel telepathically to Charizard.

It gave a big roar and got ready for battle.
"Start the battle!!!"

Both of them roared from the top of their lungs as Charizard sent out a blue ball of fire in the sky. This was 'Sunny day' and it started to do some weird dance.
Salamence also did its dance but as he suspected, this dance was a combination of 'Dragon dance' and 'Swords dance'. It also knew the same move as the previous Salamence.
Charizard then gave a huge roar as multiple pillars of fire came from the ground and surrounded Salamence. It then fired up a powerful 'Flamethrower' towards Salamence.
Salamence knew that its 'Flamethrower' was not going to be as powerful as Charizard, so it used another move. It also gave a huge roar as multiple tornadoes came into being as those tornadoes clashed with 'Fire pledge' and also tackled 'Flamethrower'.
However, with 'Sunny day' and 'Flame control' stage III, the power of the attack was very high as it could not defend against 'Flamethrower' and it was hit by the attack.

It flew in the air and tried to stabilize itself. Axel knew that this Salamence was a physical attacker and it didn't have much variety of moves in the special attack category. So, he wanted Charizard to be as far from it as possible.
Charizard was also a physical attacker but due to its huge mastery over fire powers, it special attack was very high.
Salamence then took a deep breath from its mouth and fired up a powerful 'Hyper beam' towards Charizard. Charizard also fired up a 'Flamethrower' but this time 'Hyper beam' came out on top and overpowered Charizard's 'Flamethrower'.
