Chapter 654: Kanto League City

"Hey Red. Wasn't expecting you to receive the call."

"Well, I have been busy lately. So, what's up?"

"You see, my Pokemon are now in tier 2 king rank and one of them is even at tier 3. It is now time for them to lean into a particular directions. I talked to Marcus about it as it has some experience. It said that we would need specific place to train in these directions.

So, do you know such places?"

"Ho Ho, so you have finally reached this stage. I must say that I am really proud of you Axel. You have worked really hard and reached such a stage in such a short time.

Now, coming to your question. I might know some places for some directions of some types, but I don't know all of them. Let me rephrase it. There are places like this in this world. Actually there are multiple places like this but almost all of them are hidden cause they are owned by some people. Most of them are pocket spaces, so they could be hidden pretty easily and these people don't want to share us these secrets."

"Then, how do I do it? I could I help my Pokemons reach champion rank and master rank?"

"Axel, these places would boost the capabilities of your Pokemons. They basically shorten the time required to master these directions. That doesn't mean that the Pokemon could not do it on its own. Besides, as of right now, you are not capable to go to such places."

"Really?"

"Yes, these places are filled with unknown dangers and trickery. There is a very high chance that your Pokemon and you would die there. So, there is no need to go to such places right now."

"So, what do you suggest?"

"I suggest that you train your own Pokemon for sometime. If you need to go to such places then first I would have to be there as your Pokemons are not so strong to go to such places. I know a few of them but it would be better if you start to search for them yourself too.", advised Red.

Axel knew that he could trust Red and after hearing the stories from Shedinja, Axel knew that Red was telling the truth. There was no point in going to these places right now as he was not strong enough and Red was not free to guide him. So, he could only train the Pokemon themselves with it.

After thinking about it for sometime, Axel came to a conclusion. Any Pokemon that reaches tier 3 would start to train in these directions. Axel knew that most of the Pokemons would train on it when they reach pseudo-champion rank but Axel believed that doing it earlier is much better.

"Marcus, I know that your training is still incomplete. Do you want to go there to train again?"

"No, even though my training is not complete, there are a lot of things that I should do right now. Like training in my existing moves and creating new ones. I need to have a sufficient mastery over darkness and shadow directions. Only then would I be able to complete my training. Also, Gengar told me to only come there when I reach tier 3 king rank.", said Shedinja.

"Ok. I think it is time that I actively participate in training you guys. It has been sometime. You all have done a wonderful job but it is still not enough. We need to do better than that.

After we come from the Kanto League city, I will discuss the training plans with each of you.", said Axel to his old Pokemons.

It was true that Axel had not concentrated on his old Pokemons for quite some time as they were mature enough to train themselves. The result had not been so bad but Axel still felt that it was not enough. So, he was going to concentrate on them from now on.

Charizard was now on the verge to ranking up to tier 3 while Mamoswine was on the verge of ranking up to tier 2. Many of them are going to be stronger and his team would be more powerful than before. However, for some reason, Axel was feeling that it was still not enough.

The news about Arceus and this mysterious force that was controlling all things had him in edge for quite some time. Even though he had resolved to beat that thing and save all of them, he was still not sure that he could do it.

Axel also needed to concentrate on this own training. He had been procrastinating it since the start of the tournament but after this, he would seriously start to train himself.

As Axel was thinking of getting serious again, he got a call from Jin.

"Hey, I am finally out of that damn organization. I am now in my hotel room. When is our flight?"

"The flight is at night. We have another party that is interested to join us. So, we will wait for her.", replied Axel.

"Oh, who is that?"

"Mia."

"Really? You got Mia too? Damn, you are a smooth talker.", said jin with a smile.

Axel didn't say anything about the said topic and told him to get ready for the late night flight.

Mia had also gone to talk to her family about this new proposal. The place was very far, so she could only talk in video chat with her family. Axel didn't know what she was going to say but he was hopeful for a positive response.

After that he finally called Hector.

"Hector, we are ready here. Our flight is at night and we will reach there tomorrow. How are you guys doing?", asked Axel.

"We are doing well. We might be late by a day at the latest but we will try to catch you up.", replied Hector.

"Don't worry, take your time. It is not easy to travel with so many people."

"Yes sir. Don't worry about us. There are powerful wild Pokemons here. There has been no injuries thus far."

"That is good to hear. I will not disturb you. Call me if you need me.", said Axel and hung off the phone."

There were around 50k members and to register the mercenary team, all those members would have to be present in the Kanto League city. This was one of the prime reason, why Axel was delaying the registration. If it was only a couple of hundred people, there would be no problem. Axel could book plane ticket for them.

But 50k were a lot and they could not move through any sort of transportation except for walking. So, that was what they were doing. They had started their journey since 2 weeks ago and now they were near to reaching the place.

Axel talked to Mia and she said that the family was positive about her joining the new team. The Nape family only asked for her assistance at the time of need. Axel was okay with it.

After talking to Jin and to Mia, Axel went to the park to meet with Beedrill. Axel had been regularly meeting with it and it was loving to spend time with some of its own species.

"Buddy, it is now time for us to go. Are you ready?"

"Axel, I don't think that i can go right now."

"But why?"

"I think I am very close to creating a new move and I need the support of my friends here. I think that this move would be a game changer. So, I live here for a few more days?"

Axel was now in a pickle. He wanted Beedrill to learn this so called new move and this would be first move that it would create itself without the help of Axel. If it would be successful, then not only it would gain a new powerful move but it would also gain confidence in creating new move. However, they were leaving and Axel didn't feel that this place was safe for Beedrill.

First of all, Beedrill was literally hiding in this place as the authorities didn't know about it. If it was found, then it might be captured and that would be a problem.

After thinking about it for sometime, Axel came to a conclusion.

"I agree but I will be leaving Light with you. If you face any problems than it would help you. I will also be back after a couple of days. So, you better be ready by that time.", said Axel.

After registration, Axel was going to hire a team to go meet with Latias. But first he decided to come here and pick Beedrill up.

After saying goodbye to Alakazam and Beedrill, Axel went to the hotel to pack up. This time, Axel had booked a private jet for him, Jin, Mia and Frank. Since Axel had won quite a good amount of money from the tournament, he decided to spend some of it in luxury.

"WOHHH, i have never been in a private jet before. Leader, how rich are you?", asked Jin as he started to take photos with the private jet. Mia was also surprised and happy that she got to ride in a private jet.

Meanwhile Frank didn't show such expression as he was used to it. It was not the first time of Axel in riding one of these private jets. He had ridden before with Lance in his private jet.

The private jet was not small. It contained sofas, tables with a great view on the window. There was another room and that was for beds and then there was another room which was for training.

Yes, there was a separate room for training. However, this training room was not for Pokemons, it was just for humans. Even then, it was very high end private jet.

Axel always hated the plan ride but this time, it was not so bad. It was very comfortable then normal plane ride and Axel fell a sleep as fast as he could. He directly woke up when half of the distance was already covered.

Then he started to talk to Jin, Frank and Mia. Axel already knew them but they didn't know each other and they needed to know each other as all of them were the subordinates of Axel.

After traveling for a long time, they finally reached Kanto League City. Mia and Jin had never been here so they were very excited. This was the most heavily guarded city of the Kanto region.

It was already night time when they arrived. It took around 24 hours to reach this place. Axel had already booked the hotel for 4 of them and they quietly went to the hotel room and went to sleep.

They had already eaten on plane and didn't need to eat more. Axel also messaged Hector saying that they had reached Kanto League city and a reply immediately came telling that they will be reaching early in the morning.

Hoping for a good day tomorrow, Axel went to sleep.

Axel woke up early in the morning. A part of his usual routine. For some reason, he was feeling that something bad was going to happen today. There was no such possibilities, just his instincts. The last time, he had such an instinct, he and his soldiers were nearly killed by a group of powerful wild Pokemons in the tide. This had happened in the Kanto League city too.

So, he didn't ignore such a feeling but became more vigilant and immediately called Hector. He felt that something bad might have happened to them.

Tring.. Tring.. Tring.. Tring...

"Hey Hector, are you guys okay?"

"Yes sir, we are okay. We are only an hour away from reaching the Kanto League City."

"Ok, I will give the permit to the guards and they would let you in. So, don't worry but be vigilant."

Hector knew that Axel would not say such a thing without a reason and he didn't even ask the reason. He just followed the command and told others to be mindful of the wild Pokemons and also increase the security.

After walking for an hour, they finally reached the Kanto League City gate.
