Chapter 623: Failed Mission

If Charizard used the move at the start, his other Pokemons could not interfere cause the heat would be so high that it was not recommended to have other Pokemons out of their ball. Secondly, the place was too big and Charizard would have 3 minutes to kill more than 60 Pokemons from elemental rank to king rank. Such a thing was not possible. So, he didn't let Charizard use the move before.

When Axel told Charizard to use it, he called out all of his Pokemons. Charizard deactivated its domain and its 'Blaze' ability. As of right now, only 1 guard and 2 executives were left alive. They had already accepted their fate and they were only mildly surprised when Axel called out all of his Pokemons except Charizard. They thought that Axel had also given up. However, their face turned from hopeless to pure horror when Charizard started to transform.

The heat almost tippled and then its color started to change. It looked like a suit of armor. From red to black. Its height also increased a bit. The heat was so much that the only guard was burned alive. This was the full power of Charizard. Axel was already used to it so he had already used 'Aura coat' to save himself.

"Charles, 30 seconds. That is all you have got and then run.", said Axel, and he himself started to run towards the exit. When Charizard used 'Transform', its fire moves would be upgraded to a new level. So, it could use that to increase its speed to a higher level too. Axel would have liked to sit on Charizard to race to the end of this hideout but due to the intense heat that Charizard was spouting, he could not.

So, he started to run towards the exit and also called out Pidgeot. After Shedinja, Pidgeot was the one with the highest speed. He sat on Pidgeot and started to run towards the exit.

"30 seconds is not needed. I will finish this in 10.", said Charizard with a smile.

It gave a huge roar and then used 'Fire domain' and then 'Fire Pledge'. Charizard power was too high for anyone to do anything. The 'Fire Pledge' created multiple pillars of flames all around the hall and then incinerated all of the Pokemons. The executives also died because of this move. Kevin just closed his eyes with a smile on his face. He didn't know if Axel could survive this or not but he did his best.

Charizard could not say for sure if it killed all of them but it didn't care. None of them would be able to move to fight against him. It then looked at the exit where Axel went to and then raced towards it.

It reached Axel within 30 seconds.

"Come inside Charles. You did a good job.", said Axel and called him to the ball. If Charizard would deactivate 'Transform' it would be in a weak state and then would be useless. So, he immediately called him back.

"Flappy, race to the exit. Don't hold back.", said Axel, and also used 'Aura coat' to protect himself from the speed.

Pidgeot used 'Tail wind', used 'Agility' one more time (4 times now), 'Air pressure', and 'Air aura' to increase its speed to maximum. Using all the moves to their ultimate level, Pidgeot felt that its body may not be able to handle all of them but it didn't care for now. It needed to survive to complain.

It then raced towards the exit. Axel had already got the call that the group was very near to the exit. The group had not gone very deep like Axel had and they had also started to move faster than Axel. With the help of Shedinja, they were able to clear those Pokemons and then move forward.

Axel used his 'Aura coat' to maximum and tried to hold it in. The speed was too high for Axel as he was only seeing blur. He didn't know that Pidgeot could be so fast. With the help of its ability and passive move, it could see clearly and move at such a speed.

Axel and Pidgeot reached the exit with 30 seconds to spare and then they came out of the hideout. There he could see the group waiting and also Shedinja.

"Marcus, you did a good job.", said Axel with a smile. Without Marcus, this whole mission would have been impossible. Axel could see that Gavin had one incubator with him. Inside of it was one egg.

"I know what you are going to say. You don't know the pain of losing all the eggs.", said Gavin. This egg had monstrous potential. He might not be able to save all the eggs but he wanted to at least save one of them.

"No time for that. All of you, call out all your Pokemons to the balls. We are going to teleport.", said Axel as he called off Shedinja and Pidgeot.

"What are saying? We are safe now.", said Gavin but Axel just gave him a deathly stare. All of them complied after seeing Axel.

Axel then called out Slowemperor and Alakazam.

"Use 'Teleport' to take us far away. You only have 10 seconds now."

"Which direction?", asked Alakazam.

"Don't care. Just far from here.", said Axel.

All of them came near and joined hands as Alakazam and Slowemperor started to do the magic.

All of them appeared inside the forest. They didn't know where they were right now. Slowemperor and Alakazam had randomly teleported them. This was done so that they would be teleported fast. If they were to pinpoint a location, it would have taken more time which Axel didn't have.

Gavin then went to Axel and started to shout, "Axel, why did you do this? Now, we don't know where we are, and this..."

The explosion was in the far east of where they were standing. They could see the fires and smoke coming out from it and they were at least 10s of kilometers away.

Bombs were expensive in this world and Axel didn't know how much money they spent on this explosion. This was the biggest explosion Axel had seen in his real life.

Gavin was angry cause the mission failed. So, he just wanted to take it out on someone but when he saw, heard, and felt the explosion, he kept quiet.

"Say that again."

"We started the mission at 5 p.m. and reached.."

"I know about the mission. Tell me about the explosion."

"Sir, I could only salvage one of them. We did go to the site after the explosion but none of the eggs were left in optimal condition."

"Damn it!!! Damn that Envy. I will get my revenge.", shouted Ronny.

Ronny was the head of Gatr family and right now Gavin was giving his report to Ronny. Ronny was furious, to say the least. He wanted to blame someone but he could not.

Saving lives was a much better result than saving some eggs. With the explosion, it was almost impossible to save those eggs. They were not prepared for this. They had not thought that Envy would blow up their own base.

Meanwhile, Axel was sitting with the group in one of the rooms that Gatr family had provided. Since the mission failed, they were not going to get any rewards from it. Zoro, Michael, and Lolita were furious when they heard it.

It was not their fault that there was a bomb in the hideout. They didn't even know about it. They had to risk their lives and they were not getting anything. Gavin had promised them the eggs of Totodile but since all of them exploded from the explosion, they could not get one.

Everyone was in low spirits when Gavin came to their room and said, "Axel, the leader is calling for you."

"For what reason? The mission failed."

"I don't know. Just go.", said Gavin and left the room. He was having a very bad day today.

"Yes, please come in.", said Ronny.

Axel opened the door and Ronny told him to have a seat. Axel could see that Ronny had not slept for an entire night. His eyes look tired with a pinch of red all over. His hair was disheveled, his clothes were not tidy and his voice was weak.

"Sorry Axel, I didn't want you to see me like this but I have no choice. I didn't call you here to blame you for the mission. You did what you had to do."

"So, why did you call me?"

"We have no choice but to go to war against Envy from now on. I first want to know your input and also want to know if you are interested in participating in it.", said Ronny.

"Can I ask why do you want to go to war against them? I know that those eggs must have been valuable and they were large in number, but it is not like your family is sinking because of this one accident. Going to war against a criminal organization is not a good idea.

That organization is related to the other 6 and there is a hidden boss who looks after all of them. That would be a tough thing to beat."

"I know. Believe me, if I had a choice, I would not poke these people. But I have no choice."

"Well, a lot of eggs exploded and they belonged to a lot of Pokemons in our family. These Pokemons are furious and they want vengeance. Their trainers also want revenge. I have to go to war now."

"Is it so serious?"

"Yes, it is. We are starter families. We have a high position in this region. But it also means that we must respect our starter Pokemon. Our strongest Feraligatr who is the Pokemon of my father, wants to get it done. It wants to kill every one of the members of Envy and then even some more.
