Chapter 574: Meeting with Mew

"Thanks, Cody."

"It is okay, but you directly told the league to fuck off. Are we sure that we can handle the situation on our own?", asked Cody.

Venu family tide can only come from its forest and since the forest had been divided by mysterious lines, there was a very low risk of its facing a tide. So, Axel didn't expect the Venu family to have any technology to help in the tide.

"Oh, what do you have?"

"OK, send me those trackers as much as you can. That would help me a lot in the tide.", said Axel.

"Ok, I will do it. Don't worry, you will get through this.", said Mark and then hung off the phone.

Normally, there would be scouts that would inform them what type of Pokemons that they would be facing and the information could come very late but now with the tracker, the job had become easier.

The responder would be coming the next day and it might take 2 days to confirm the grade of the tide. Everything was going well till now.

Axel had another meeting to attend. He went to his first restaurant and then entered a small room. The room was well-lit with no chairs but there were cushions all over the place and there was a table.

Axel had already said to the staff to prepare some high quality Momos and he came to the room himself carrying it.

Axel waited for some time and finally, Mew appeared.

Yes, this was a personal room where Mew would come and eat.

"There is a tide coming. I want you to protect my 50k soldiers and also my family when the tides comes."

A zone commander must have at least 1 pseudo-king rank Pokemon to qualify as zone commander whereas a lieutenant must have 1 elemental rank. This was the bare requirement.

Depending on the city, the requirements for each rank would vary a lot.

"Most of you might be thinking why I called you here. I will not beat around the bush. We will be facing a tide very soon.", said Axel.

"What? Sir, are you really serious?", asked one of the lieutenants.

Others were also surprised by the news. The city had never faced a tide. So, what would happen to those soldiers who had never faced any battle when there was actually a tide coming? It would obviously be a massacre.

Axel then went on to explain the situation including news about the corrupt mayor. All of them greeted their teeth in anger. That mayor was the reason why they were facing such a problem.

"Liam sir, I am the zone commander. Do we know the grade of the tide?"

Liam was the only one who was calm after the news. This showed that he was a good leader.

Axel then went on to tell the mayor's failure to pay the tax and his conversation with Gerad.
