"Can we solve this problem? I don't want to die.", said Axel.

"Yes, there is a solution to it but I cannot do it. I can only extend the time. If you want to solve this problem, you would have to find fairy type well. There, the leader of the well could heal you.", said Ninetales.

"How much time do I have?", asked Axel.

'Oh, now you have to announce yourself. Couldn't you do that before?', shouted Axel in his mind.

It was a main quest which meant that it was very important and the difficulty level was also very low. However, if he didn't heal his hand in 7 days, his hand would start to decay and he would have goosebumps just from thinking about it.

"What can you do to extend it?", asked Axel hurriedly.

"Axel, first you need to relax. You cannot heal your hand right now. What is the point of panicking? Just take deep breaths and calm yourself first cause you will need it if you want to extend your time."

Axel did as he was told. He took deep breaths and tried to calm his heart. He knew that he needed to be calm at this time. He was the leader of the group. If he started to panic then everything would fall apart.

"No, you are thinking it as if it is a poison. It is not a poison. It is a type of energy that would make your body stronger. But since your body is too weak, you cannot handle that energy.

After you meet the leader of the fairy type well, it would help you control it or expel it. So, you don't have to worry.", said Ninetales.

"Ok, so how do I do it?"

"First of all sit on the ground, close your eyes, and use your aura to sense your right hand. I am going to help you and after some time, you will be able to sense grand energy."

Ninetales put its paws on the back of Axel as Axel started to concentrate. It took around 30 minutes but Axel was finally able to sense something peculiar. He knew that this peculiar thing was not normal. It was something different. It looked red in color and it was now embedded in his right hand.

"I think I feel something. It is red in color."

"Good, you can finally sense grand energy. Our task is to distribute that energy to other parts of the body so that your right-hand doesn't have to share all the burden."

"How do I do that?", asked Axel cause he had never done such things.

"Don't worry. I will do it for you. You just have to lead the energy inside your body.", said Ninetales.

This thing went on for 1 more hour as they were finally able to distribute the energy all over the body. Axel didn't feel much but the system notification made him feel relieved.

Axel could finally relax after seeing the notification. The completion time has increased from 7 days to 30 days. He thought that he was going to lose his hand a couple of hours ago. He also realized he was not special and what he did was stupid. Now, his life was in danger.

"Can you tell me the place where I could meet that fairy-type Pokemon?", asked Axel. He already knew the general direction but he wanted to know more from Ninetales to shorten the time to find it.

"I cannot tell you the exact location as it is against the rules but I could tell you the general direction..."

The information provided by the Ninetales was helpful and this would help him search for it faster. But for that to happen, he would have to first leave this place, reach the central, and then proceed to the south side.

30 days was enough time for them to do it but it was also not a lot.

Meanwhile, Charles and Charizard have completed their training. Kate's Charizard was not in a good condition but it completed the test. Charles was also looked tired but it was in much better condition than Kate's Charizard.

All of them came out of the pocket space and Charizard ran to greet Kate to tell her that it had completed the job. Others also celebrated and congratulated Kate and Charizard. Zard family would use this resource place and its future would be brighter. Ryker was very happy about it.

"The bad news is that, the stunt that I pulled removing my gloves is still affecting me. Ninetales pointed it out and it seems like my body is slowly dying."

"WHat? Dude, are you okay?", shouted Lance in concern as he started stare at Axel's calmness.

Cody was the only one who was calm.

"So, you must have a solution, right?", asked Cody.

"Yes, I have."

"Then start with that. You just gave me a heart attack.", spat out Lance in frustration.

"You are the one who said to start with the bad news. Anyway, it seems like I have around a month and then my body would start to decay."

"Decay? As in literal decay?", asked Frank.

"Yes, but just like this fire-type resource place there is also a fairy-type resource place and there I could get healed. Ninetales have told me the general direction of that place.

I just want to apologize cause we have to start moving now. We cannot go to the end of the west side right now.", said Axel.

"We have no problem with it. We already have a fire-type resource place and a ground-type resource place. Even if we don't get anything significant right now, we have made a lot of profit.", said Kate.

"Yes, we can start to go back now. We can also get you checked up in the central. They have all sorts of machines there.", said Ryker.

"Then, let's continue our journey.", declared Axel.

Light used teleportation to return all the trainers back. It also would use teleportation to teleport them short distances to save time. They started to run toward the center.

They reached the center in 4 days.

Harry was shouting with anger. He was very scared of what was happening to Axel. If Axel was a normal trainer then he would not have cared much about it. But Axel was the successor of Oak. Harry had done nothing wrong but if Oak found out about it then Harry would be in a lot of trouble. So, He wanted to know what were they planning to do but these kids were not saying anything.

"What sort of cure do you have for him? I mean he must not be the first case right?", asked Kate.

"No, he is not the first case but we don't have any cure or solution for it.", said Harry sighing heavily.

When they first made contact with the island, they didn't have protective suits. So, the first explorers also got infected but sadly there was no cure for it. They slowly started to die.

"What? How can you have no cure for this? I mean you guys are doing this for many years.", said Lance.

"Yes, but we still have no cure. We don't know all the things about this energy in the first place. That is why we gave you the suit but you guys have to fuck it up."

"Hey, we are not holding you responsible for anything. So, you don't have to shout at us.", said Lance.

"We are currently doing some checks to know the extent of his injury. We will get back to you soon enough.", said Harry and left the room.

Meanwhile, Axel was inside a lab and he was getting checked out. Others were not so happy about this. Even though they were not very close, they were still friends of Axel. Hearing that he might die after a few days made them feel sad.

Axel did tell them that he had found a cure for it but none of them knew the authenticity of the data, not even Axel. Axel had also only heard from Ninetales but whether that place could cure him, he was not 100% sure of it.

At night,

"Hey, why are you guys so down?', asked Axel.

"Well, you are dying. Why are you not panicking right now?", asked Lance.

"What can I do today that would change anything? We will start our journey tomorrow and find the fairy type resource place and get myself cured. There is no point in thinking much about it.", said Axel.

"Axel, we don't even know where the place is. It might take us a lot of time to find it and even if we do find it, we are not sure that you can be cured.", said Kate in a concerned voice.

"We cannot do anything by panicking right now. We will start to make mistakes if we do it. So, we should calm down and then think."

For some strange reason, Axel was not feeling any sort of panic. He didn't know why. It was his life that was on the line. Somehow he felt that the system would not let him die due to such a stupid reason.

They ate their fill and then went to sleep. Axel told all of them to wake up at 5 a.m. and get ready to start the journey at 6 a.m.

Even though he was not panicking, he wanted to complete this quest as fast as he could.
