Chapter 375: Hell Training Plans 1
Chapter 375: Hell Training Plans 1
Both of them ran excitedly. Their turn had finally come.
"Gogoat, you said that you wanted to defeat Hypno. If you can complete the training, we would personally go there for that Hypno. You have 4 things to do. First, your ability 'Sap Sipper' should be properly mastered.
As of right now, it is 98%. Don't worry; I would help you with it. Second, your moves 'Bullet Seed,' 'Seed Bomb,' 'Grassy Terrain,' and 'Field Control' should be level 45 and above. Third, you will be learning a new move. And fourth, train in other moves too and spar with other Pokémon. If you do all this, then we would go to battle Hypno."
"G-Gogoat," it said, rising on its toes in the air. It was happy to finally defeat that Hypno.
Axel realized that after reaching level 40, each 5 levels were like a barrier. You would have to reduce the deficiency of the move or increase its powers to cross that hurdle. He didn't know when the move would be graded as extreme.
"Venusaur, first of all, good job learning 'Field Control.'"
"Venu..."
Venusaur had reached the rare rank a week before. It was overly powerful for a rare rank Pokémon.
He looked at its stats:

---
It had a huge improvement. It must be due to the locket and its talent, as most of its moves were already at level 39. Its health was exceedingly high for a rare rank Pokémon. It had also concentrated a lot on its new move 'Field Control.'
"Now, it is time for you to rank up to elemental rank. Which route do you want to go? Grass type or poison type?"
"Venu.. Venusaur...," it said, pointing at the grass on the ground.
"Good choice. I will first help you get your core to 100%. There are 3 things you need to do. First of all, practice other moves and spar with other Pokémon. You need experience. Second, you will train your ability and hidden ability to an acceptable level.
And third, you will train 'Sunny Day' and 'Synthesis' to level 40 and create a new move. After that, you would rank up to elemental rank."
Venusaur was excited to reach elemental rank. It was very depressed when Charizard had ranked up to pseudo-king rank when it was just a rare rank.
Axel saw that in Venusaur's face and said, "Don't compare yourself to others. Just compare yourself to the previous day you. If you are better than the previous day you, then you have done excellently. You are doing great, so believe in me."
He patted Venusaur's head to make it comfortable. 'Field Control' would later evolve to Venusaur raising a whole forest to destroy its enemies while 'Sunny Day' and 'Synthesis' would be like instant regeneration. He was excited to see the future Venusaur.
Axel also realized that he had not paid much attention to Venusaur recently. Its growth was slow, but Axel was happy about it. If it wanted to be the second Hashirama Senju, then it needed to have a perfect foundation.
###
Mamoswine was doing very well. Axel didn't have much to tell it. He first told it to master its ability. 'Snow Cloak' was now at 100% mastery. Axel knew it would get an additional function like Charizard after it masters its ability. He didn't know what would happen if it masters its ability and then rank up to king rank, but he was confident that it would be something good.
Axel also told it to level up 'Sand Armor' and 'Icy Wind' to level 40. He felt that 'Sand Armor' had a lot of potential and it would increase its defense to a higher level. He told it to get some help from Steelix too. Steelix had ground core mastery, so it could provide a lot of insights. After seeing Kent's Gyarados use 'Icy Wind' like that, he also wanted Mamoswine to copy it.
###
Absol and Tauros. Both of them had good stats, good mastery in ability and hidden ability, good moves mastery, but Axel felt that they were missing something. The thing that they were missing was experience. They had only trained with themselves and with Axel's team. But they rarely had battles with other Pokémon.
So, Axel thought to delay their rank up. He was confident that Venusaur would crush them both at the same time, and it had just ranked up to rare rank. Axel had expected only 3 things from them.
"Now listen. I know you have trained hard and leveled up quite a bit. But you lack experience. So, every morning, for 4 hours, you would fight wild Pokémon till death. You may or may not kill them; it would depend on the situation, but you would fight them to death.
Secondly, both of you will practice your moves and will also learn a new move, and after I am satisfied, I will get you the cores that you need."
Both of them gave a brief nod and went on to train their existing moves and fight with their fellow teammates.
###
Charizard was one of the most powerful Pokémon in Axel's team right now. Even though it had ranked up very fast, it didn't lack experience like Absol and Tauros. It had battled in the tide and faced many strong wild Pokémon. It also had experience fighting with trainers. Axel was extremely happy with its development.
"Charizard, you have trained hard and become very powerful. But don't feel arrogant. You are still not at the top of the world," said Axel.
Charizard nodded its head in confirmation. It knew that all of this newfound power was due to Axel, and it dared not be arrogant again.
"You have already mastered 'Blaze,' so you don't need to focus on ability training right now. Most of your fire-type moves have leveled up to 50 too. You just need to do 3 things right now.
First, level up Ancient Power to 40. You can get help from Mamoswine. Then you should level up Roost to 40. I would help you with that. Finally, you would be learning 2 new moves, 'Ominous Wind' and 'Air Slash.' You will also practice other existing moves."
###
Pidgeotto didn't have moves with varying types, and its move pool was also very limited. After racking his brain for some time, he decided to let Pidgeotto learn 3 new moves. 'Foresight,' 'Brave Bird,' and 'Secret Power.'
'Brave Bird' was one of the most destructive moves of Flying-type Pokémon.
However, 'Foresight' and 'Secret Power' were unusual. If this was a game, he would have never chosen these moves, but the reality was different.
'Foresight' would reset opponent evasiveness and allow Normal and Fighting-type Pokémon to hit Ghost-type Pokémon. The move was not particularly good per se, but if he could level it up to 40, then there might be some exciting results.
'Secret Power' was a physical type attack, and it had a good chance to deal secondary effects on the enemy depending on the environment. This move had many possibilities, and Axel was excited about its future.
###
There was nothing much for Alakazam. He just wanted it to level up Greater Telekinesis to 40 and Elemental Manipulation to 45. Axel was confident about these 2 moves, and he had decided to develop them further. He also wanted it to master its ability 'Synchronize.' Axel also realized that he needed a strong Fighting-type attack for Normal-type Pokémon.
Alakazam did know 'Focus Blast,' but its mastery was not so great. So, he told it to practice the said move and also add it into 'Elemental Manipulation.'
###
Beedrill also needed to master its ability, level up 'String Armor' and 'Roost' to level 40, and it also needed a new move. It had 2 new moves. 'String Armor' and 'Resolve.' Both of them were supporting type moves, and it needed a good attacking type move that was a bug type.
