"Ummm.. Who are you? I have not seen you before. Are you a part of the explorers team?", asked Axel.
"Ah.. Yes"
"I have not seen you in the explorer team. You must be an explorer from the Hoenn region", said Axel.
"Yes, I am"
"So, what are you doing here at night?"
"To look after you of course", replied the girl.
"By the way, my name is Serena.", continued the girl raising her hand for a handshake.
Axel shook the hand saying his name too. The girl was an explorer. It was rare to see a young girl be an explorer. She must have been sent here to look if the Kanto team was in danger. That was what Axel thought. The big guy had said that they would be watched and protected but had never seen a soul near them. It was relaxing to see a new face after a month.
Axel and Serena talked about normal silly things. The girl was different than other explorers that Axel had met. She was gullible and funny and not serious. Axel had a pleasant time talking to her but he had to wake up the next morning. So, he said his goodbye.
Serena asked Axel to not reveal her identity to others which Axel agreed. Axel didn't ask for the reason for it, he was too tired to even ask.

Axel woke up at 5 a.m. in the morning. The plans of Axel were going smoothly. Shedinja had already ranked up. Beedrill would rank up any day now. Charmeleon and Bulbasaur could also evolve any day now. Nidorino was also progressing well.
Axel didn't think much about Serena. He had a battle to win.
After a month, Piloswine had done its job. It had learned all the moves required and leveled each of them to at least 10. Axel believed that this was the time for him to know its Hidden power typing. Today was going to be a fun day.
He already had the TM for Hidden power. He just needed to use it. Axel came close to Piloswine and took out the TM. After sometime....

Not what he had expected but it was not bad. Steel had the most resistance inside the game and anime. However, he didn't have much knowledge about the Steel type cause it was not his go-to type. Axel had no problems with it. He could just learn about Steel typing in detail in the future.

The time had finally come. All of Beedrill's stats were in S rank now. The requirement for Beedrill's rank up was to rank up its passive move 'Resolve'. Axel had a reward that could directly rank up a move and was thinking of using it on Beedrill. Axel could have used it a long time ago but he wanted all of Beedrill's stat to reach S rank. None of Beedrill's stats had any increase when it was in Weedle or in Metapod form. So, he wanted Beedrill to give a little boost.
Axel could have used the reward later to rank up 'Resolve' when it was at a higher level. But it was impossible. Axel realized that for 'Resolve' to rank up to 'Resolve (Stage II)' it should have 'Calm mind' and 'Minimize' in 'Good' stage (move stage) and a move to reach 'Good stage' a Pokemon should be normally in elemental rank. So, it would be extremely hard for Beedrill to upgrade its rank naturally. If Axel had not received the reward, Beedrill may have been in rare rank for a long time.
Axel called his teammates and his Pokemons together. He wanted all of them to watch the show. After sometime,

Axel could see that Beedrill was in pain. There was no glow but everyone could see that the height of Beedrill was decreasing and then it was enveloped by a green glow.

When Axel saw the notification, he sighed in relief. Axel's teammates were dumbfounded by the ranking up of Beedrill.
'How lucky can this guy get?' All of them were thinking the same thing. The green glow was not spooky but it looked dangerous. It didn't have such a huge effect as Shedinja but everyone could say that it was not a normal rank-up.
The ranking up process took 20 minutes and finally, everything started to get normal.
Everyone could see a shiny Beedrill who looked a bit smaller than the previous time. Axel and his Pokemons went near it. They were not so close to Beedrill as none of them knew Beedrill's mental condition right now.
After some time, everyone realized that it was the same Beedrill they knew all along. There was a huge celebration after the rank up again. Axel didn't want to see Beedrill's stats and had muted the notification. He wanted to congratulate Beedrill and enjoy the party.
After the party, Axel fell asleep.
Suddenly he woke up again in the middle of the night.
