Oak and Axel went to the barn and all of his Pokemons were lined up, even Gogoat. It was quite exciting for all of them. They wanted to know what they could awaken.
First, he used the TM in Shedinja and then to Beedrill. Both of them took their time to gather the knowledge. It took them about 15 minutes before a notification on Axel's system popped out.

"That was no brainer," said Axel softly. He was 90% sure that Shedinja and Beedrill would awaken Psychic as their hidden power. Both of them could learn the Psychic moves which they normally could not. And he noticed another thing. The system said 'awakened hidden power' not 'learned hidden power'.
Axel had used TMs multiple times, and every time the system had said 'learned' not 'awakened'. This was proving that Axel's hypothesis was correct.
He now had to prove it with his Pokemons without telling others that he had a system.
He looked at Shedinja's stats to verify it

Axel widened his eyes when he saw the last tab about 'Hidden power'. 'Hidden power' was not listed as a move but something different. Thinking about it, Axel thought that it was fair cause Shedinja could use Psychic type moves like 'gravity' and not 'Hidden power' before.
Another interesting thing about the last tab was the percentage next of 'Hidden power'. It was at 0%, which was not interesting, as Shedinja had just learned it. But what was interesting was there was a percentage in it.
'First of all, how to increase the percentage of it? And second, what would happen if it reaches 100%. Is it like a core mastery? So, Shedinja would literally have 2 cores? What is it?' thought Axel. There were a lot of questions in Axel's head right now. He wanted to ask Oak about it but he didn't want to reveal his system to Oak.
But then he thought, what the heck, Oak was a Pokemon master. Oak must have come across a lot of weird things in his life. So he would not be risky to share it with Oak.
But just as he was going to open his mouth to speak about the system, he could not open his mouth in a literal sense. Something powerful was stopping him to do it.
Then his mind started to change. He felt that something was taking over his mind. He felt that something very bad would happen if he revealed his secret. His mind started to believe it eventually and then he decided to not tell Oak about it.
Just when he decided to not tell Oak, everything went back to normal. He could open his mouth and speak and his mind felt free.
'Was that you, system? Did you do this?' Axel asked the system in his mind

Then it hit him. Why was he so stupid? He knew that the name of the system was 'The cosmic system' [Said in Chapter 1]. But he had never given it much thought initially and he eventually forgot about it. Cause at that point, he didn't think that the system was powerful. It only showed his stats at that time.
'The name of the system is 'the cosmic system'. Does that mean, the person who created the system is the one who created the cosmos?'

Cause if that was true then, he was in a dip shit. Such a powerful person would not grant him the system on a whim. Why would such a powerful entity decide to give him such power? Is this just for its entertainment or did it want to gain something from him?
