But for Beedrill to permanently decrease its size to 10 feet, it had to continuously use the 2 moves. Axel cannot see how that would be possible. So, he discussed this problem with Mark.

"I don't think it would be possible for Beedrill until it reaches elemental rank.", suggested Mark

"Why do u think so?"

"This is just my hypothesis but for Beedrill to achieve it, it would have to freely manipulate infinity energy. A Pokemon can only do so after it reaches elemental rank.", said Mark.

Axel now was in a pickle. He wanted Beedrill to achieve this in a month. But it doesn't seem to be possible in any other way. After thinking for 3 days, he came to a new possibility.

A Pokemon would change its size when it evolves. A lot of other things also change but size also does change. Decreasing Beedrill's size to 10 feet is just like a minor evolution. So, Beedrill must be able to do it before reaching elemental rank. This new move of Beedrill should be like a passive ability.

'Would Beedrill gain any other benefits if its size decreases like evolution?', thought Axel.

Even if Beedrill succeeds in this, it may take many months to even years. So, Axel was not very hopeful that Beedrill would achieve it in a month. But he didn't want Beedrill to give up.

"Beedrill, just try to imagine how it felt when you were evolving and try to replicate it when using 'Calm mind' and 'Minimize'", said Axel. Axel told about mini-evolution to Beedrill.

Beedrill was improving day after day. It had been a week and now Beedrill could hold it for 15 minutes. Its stats also temporarily increased when it was in this form. The increase was not very high but it was acceptable. Axel came with a new training plan and that was gravity.

Shedinja would use gravity in Beedrill and it would try to fight with Shedinja. Axel wanted Beedrill to be comfortable in this new temporary form.

'This should be like a passive ability, like breathing' thought Axel.

Shedinja was doing really good in its training. Axel had a lot of ideas in which he wanted to develop Shedinja. Ghost energy was very versatile energy. It could be used in a number of ways. It could be used as darkness manipulation, shadow energy, necromancy abilities like creating undead, darkness worlds, shadow illusions, teleportation, and many more.

Very few of these abilities had been used in this world. But Axel had read a lot of web novels in his previous life. So, he knew the potential of ghost-type energy.

Axel discussed this matter in lengths with Shedinja. Axel wanted Shedinja to be an assassin-type Pokemon and Shedinja had also agreed to it. But Axel wanted Shedinja to keep its option open.

After much discussion, Axel decided Shedinja in the field of Shadow energy. One of the favorite moves of Shedinja was 'Shadow sneak'. Axel felt that it would excel in this department.

So, the next new move that Axel wanted Shedinja to learn was 'Shadow jump'. This is the new move that Axel came up with himself.

Right now, Shedinja could sneak into anyone's shadow but it could not travel through other shadows or teleport to other shadows.

At first, Axel thought that if Shedinja could combine 'Shadow sneak' with 'Agility' then it would be able to accomplish it. But later he thought that it would not be possible.

At first, for that to happen, 'Agility' should be at a very high level which may take years to accomplish. And second, We were talking about shadow jump/teleportation, where Shedinja would literally, jump through shadows.

So, Axel told Shedinja what he had known about the shadow energy from reading uncountable webnovels.

"Marcus, what do you really think is a ghost-type energy?" Axel asked.

"Shed... Shed..."

Shedinja didn't really have a perfect answer for it. It had never given it much thought. Shedinja was not a pure ghost-type Pokemon like Gengar.

All the forms of Gengar from Gastly had ghost typing. Gastly was born from the souls of other beings who had died from the combination of poison in it. But Shedinja had evolved from Nincada who was a bug/ground-type Pokemon.

Technically, Shedinja was a hollow Pokemon. It was just an outer shell with no blood, bones and flesh inside. Axel believed that due to this, Shedinja must be proficient in darkness-type attacks rather than shadow attacks. However, Shedinja wanted to learn shadow attacks.

However, Axel's Shedinja was a bit different from the normal Shedinja. A normal Shedinja could not move any muscles in its body, it could not laugh or cry or twitch its eyes it it had no muscles and bones. But Axel's Shedinja could do so.

"Ghost type energy is an energy of death. What happens when you die? There would be darkness and nothing else. Death means the absence of soul, light and everything. So, death is not a thing, it is a lack of everything"

Axel let that sink in.

"It is like darkness. Death and darkness are the same thing, but death is the cause of darkness and darkness is the cause of death. And where is darkness? It is everywhere."

"Shed? (Everywhere?)"

"Yes everywhere. If you remove the sun, these lands, these buildings and any living and non living thing that existed here, what would be left?"

"Shed. (Darkness)"

"Yes Darkness. And Darkness means nothingness and it means death. It is there but we just don't see it. So, I feel that you could teleport and move anywhere from this shadow to other if you could manipulate the power of shadows. You just have to feel the energy and presence of darkness."
