Chapter 104: Sword Principle
Lu Zhen ignored her words. His eyes turned cold as he punched with power.
Swoosh!
The sound of tearing air resonated as if Lu Zhen's fist was cutting through the very fabric of void itself.
Xia Yun'er felt her life flash before her eyes as her instincts screamed at her to dodge.
However, the fist was just too fast.
Boom!
A deafening explosion shattered the silence, sending shockwaves through the surroundings. Dust and dirt billowed into the air, creating a hazy screen that obscured the vision of onlookers who stood by, astounded and amazed.
"My God, did the young master of the Lu family really...?" The sentence remained unfinished, hanging in the air as if waiting for someone to comprehend the impossible.
Within the swirling cloud of dust, Lu Zhen couldn't help but release a subtle chuckle.
"Seems like the guards of the young miss are rather... so-so," he commented, his voice tinged with mockery as he glanced at the guard who had rushed to protect Xia Yun'er. His hands were stained with blood.
"You…" The guard stared at Lu Zhen, eyes filled with sheer horror and disbelief.
Cough! Cough!
Violent coughs wracked his body, and he involuntarily spewed blood as his two hands, which had been used to shield against Lu Zhen's attack, were now severed.
With a "splash" sound, his two hands fell to the ground. Blood gushed from the gruesome wounds, staining the ground crimson and splattering Xia Yun'er in the process. It was a horrific scene that left everyone stunned.
Ah!
The guard cried out loudly, his voice filled with agony as the pain overwhelmed him.
Xia Yun'er's eyes revealed deep terror as she couldn't believe what Lu Zhen had done.
"Not bad; the sword mastery skill is quite useful..." Although it seemed Lu Zhen had used his fist, he had actually employed his sword principles in the attack. This was why the guard's hands were severed. While the saber mastery skill and sword mastery skill principles might appear similar, there was a crucial difference between them.
The sword principle made Lu Zhen's fist more elegant and fast, whereas the saber principle was more domineering with greater power and slashing force.
"Bastard!" Xia Yun'er fell to the floor, witnessing the sight of blood for the first time, and began to panic.
"Didn't you say you could take my punch, so why did you back away now?" Lu Zhen said as he casually wiped his hands.
Lu Zhen looked at Xia Yun'er with some pity. He had actually considered killing the little girl right here, right now, as he had already declared the Xia family dead. They would be destroyed as long as Lu Zhen had the power to kill the Xia family ancestor or if their ancestor died for some reason.
However, he changed his mind when the guard blocked his attack. There were no benefits to killing Xia Yun'er right now.
"Sigh, when can I control my impulsiveness..." Lu Zhen looked at the guard who had taken some medicine to stop his bleeding for now.
"So where were we?" He turned his attention to Fe Cai, the golden-haired boy.
"I'm really curious. How did you survive even after trying to block me? I assumed that countless people would have given me your head to impress me by now."
Fe Cai glanced at Xia Yun'er.
"So, you were also the one who was giving trouble to Brother Fei?" Xia Yun'er barely managed to calm down as she looked at Lu Zhen with even more hatred.
"Oh, I get it. So love at first sight?" Lu Zhen chuckled as he patted Fe Cai on the back. However, he leaned in closer to him and whispered something in his ear.
"You're going to be killed if you stay with the Xia family. You have good talent, kid. Stay as far away from them as possible." Lu Zhen wore a friendly yet ominous smile.
He patted Fe Cai on the back again and turned to leave.
"Wait, what about my guards with sliced arms?" Xia Yun'er demanded.
"What of it?" Lu Zhen looked at Xia Yun'er with cold eyes, that seemed to tell the tale that she will be dead if she spoke another word.
She clenched her fists, taking deep breaths to control herself.
"I swear, you'll be dead soon, you bastard Lu Zhen."
Without another word, Lu Zhen returned to the carriage, leaving Xia Yun'er seething with anger.
"Let's go quickly, Yu Bai," Lu Zhen said as the carriage sped off at full speed, faster than any modern car in Lu Zhen's previous world.
"That bastard seems to have grown stronger," Fe Cai thought as he watched the carriage disappear into the distance.
"He definitely has a bloodline and should have noticed me by now, but he shouldn't know my true identity," Fe Cai mused as he glanced at Xia Yun'er, who had a dark expression with a murderous glint in her eyes.
"Sister Yun'er, are you alright?"
Hearing Fe Cai's sweet voice, she snapped out of her reverie.
"Yes, Brother Fei, I am alright now. That bastard will die soon…" she said with a determined look in her eyes.
Fe Cai just shook his head when he heard this. Although he also wanted to beat that bastard Lu Zhen, he still wished to defeat him with his own strength, and he still had a trump card he hadn't shown yet.
If he could use the Trump card, he could beat Lu Zhen in a matter of seconds, and since he was also a Bloodline user, it would be even easier.
He had an evil smile on his mind as he thought of deafening that high and mighty bastard to the ground.
However, he had a classical smile on his face as he looked at Xia Yun'er.
