“Secretary Chen, bring in the materials that I asked you to prepare earlier.” Dan Hanjie walked over to his desk and pressed the intercom.
“What materials?” Qin Youxuan approached him, looked at him as he hung up the phone, and asked in confusion.
From his tone, it was as if he had predicted that she would come looking for him. Then why did he act so surprised when he saw her come in?
Qin Youxuan pondered if his accidental spillage of coffee was because he heard from the secretary that she was looking for him.
However, this thought flashed in her mind and was immediately dismissed.
This shrewd man wouldn’t care for someone like her, whom he could manipulate at will…
“Knock Knock”
Secretary Chen respectfully knocked on the door before entering upon getting Dan Hanjie’s permission. “Sir, these are the materials you asked for.”
“Give all the materials to her.” Dan Hanjie returned to his desk, didn’t even glance at the secretary who came in, directly lifted his chin, and glanced at Qin Youxuan.
“Yes. Miss Qin, here are the materials you need to familiarize yourself with. If you have any questions, you can ask me.” Secretary Chen quickly turned towards Qin Youxuan, respectfully handing over the materials.
“…Thank you.” Qin Youxuan was still in shock, awkwardly taking the folder from Secretary Chen. Suddenly, she blurted out, “I remember you, you’re the one who delivered clothes to me the other day.”
Secretary Chen was taken aback, instinctively looking at Dan Hanjie. Seeing that he had no reaction, he politely nodded, “That’s me. If Miss Qin doesn’t need anything else, I’ll be leaving now.”
“No, no more.” Qin Youxuan waved her hand.
“I’ll excuse myself then.” Secretary Chen motioned towards Dan Hanjie, turned around, and quickly left.
“The materials are heavy, seems like there’s a lot to them…” Qin Youxuan muttered to herself, looking at Secretary Chen disappearing at the door. Holding the materials, she walked back to the sofa. She had just sat down when she thought of something, so she carried the materials and walked towards Dan Hanjie’s desk.
“Hey, make some room.” Qin Youxuan pointed at the space next to the man, indicating him to move over a bit.
Dan Hanjie was just opening a file. Hearing her voice, he raised his eyebrows to look at her.
He paused for a moment before really moving a bit to the side.
Even when his secretary tried to deliver something to him, they were always on tenterhooks, not daring to linger more than necessary. He wanted to see what this cat was up to.
Qin Youxuan, oblivious to the man’s thoughts, walked over, brought a chair from the meeting area to his desk, and confidently took a seat.
He wanted her to go through the materials, so she couldn’t be careless.
The sofa was comfortable, but it wasn’t convenient for going through the materials. His desk was so large; giving her a small space shouldn’t be a problem, should it?
“Jam-packed with information as if preparing for an international exam just to join a company…what on the earth are these materials about?” Qin Youxuan propped up her chin and started flipping through the materials that Dan Hanjie had prepared for her.
After a second of shock, her delicate white fingers pointed at the large font on the page, “I’m not a computer science student, why would I need all these Yongsheng Technology project materials?”
The critical thing was, she couldn’t understand any of this!
Upon seeing the densely packed programming codes, Qin Youxuan let out a wail and shot a glare at the man beside her.
