This entry records the time and place of each interstellar colonisation by the Azure Star Federation.
“In three thousand years, the Azure Star Federation has colonized twenty-two inhabited planets, this number is rather exaggerated.”
Mulling over the information before him, Milton Cheney murmured to himself.
Having reincarnated to this world for so long, Milton Cheney naturally understood the world well.
This world, which is remarkably similar to Azure Star, entered the interstellar age ten thousand years ago.
Over ten thousand years, Azure Star had altogether colonized twenty-one uninhabited life planets and thirteen inhabited life planets.
After a while of Azure Star being colonized three thousand years ago, the speed of Azure Star colonising other planets intensified several times.
Moreover, many problems in the field of technology were easily solved.
“Could the high ranks of Azure Star now be extraterrestrials?” This speculation swirled within Milton Cheney’s mind.
His assumption was quite bold, but not impossible.
However, he only accounted for one of the many who shared the same idea.
The Federation was extensive and plentiful, surely there were more bright minds than just his own.
However, these were merely conjectures.
There must be a reason the Federation kept their colonisation three thousand years ago a secret.
If he were a Level 3 Wizard, he could probe into this secret.
However, as he was now, he was just an ordinary person without any transcendent power.
In order to explore the concealed history of three thousand years ago, he couldn’t just rely on his strength.
Turning off his palm computer, Milton Cheney no longer dwelt on it.
Leaving his dormitory, Milton Cheney headed towards the History Department at Southern Union University.
As an exchange student at Southern Union University, Milton Cheney had very little free time and a lot to learn every day.
Although this world didn’t offer a Transcendent Path for him to cultivate, there were still many things that piqued Milton Cheney’s interest.
‘I’lme passed, a year went DY.
Nearly two years had passed since Milton Cheney had arrived at Southern Union University as an exchange student.
“I can get you a spot on the Scientific Expedition Team, but it requires approval from your professor at Federal First University.”
“I’ve talked to Arthur Morgan about this, but he doesn’t want you participating in this expedition.”
A middle-aged man said, appearing somewhat helpless in front of Milton Cheney.
He naturally knew the appeal of this expedition to young Cheney, whose research was headed in the direction of the historical gap three thousand years ago.
The detected age of the recently discovered ruins places its origin precisely between three thousand and two thousand years ago.
“I’ve talked to Arthur. He has agreed.”
Milton Cheney interjected.
He had to go on this Southern Union University expedition to the ancient ruins.
Finally, they had discovered ruins from three thousand years ago, if he missed this opportunity, he wouldn’t know when the next would come.
So, Milton Cheney had contacted Arthur Morgan to explain his reasons. Though Arthur was worried about the risks, he ultimately agreed.
“Arthur agreed?”
Wyatt Vaughan exclaimed in surprise.
Just yesterday when he had contacted Arthur, the old man had adamantly refused.
He claimed that it was too dangerous; absolutely not, he wouldn’t let Milton be part of it.
How could it be that in just one day, the old man had changed his mind?
“I need confirmation. As long as Arthur’s in agreement, a spot on the Scientific Expedition Team can be reserved for you.”
“But I suggest you think it over; after all, you don’t have experience in this area.”
“When it comes to exploring ancient ruins, knowledge is secondary. Experience is what truly matters.”
Vaughan added.
Despite his short time at Southern Union University, Vaughan did appreciate Milton Cheney.
Even though Cheney was inexperienced in exploring ruins, he was invaluable due to his talents in the field of historical research.
However, no one is perfect. Vaughan felt Milton was fairly inexperienced concerning the exploration of ruins.
Nonetheless, gaining experience was valuable.
Following the rest of them, Milton was safe from any major risk.
“I understand, Professor Vaughan.”
Milton Cheney replied.
Time flew and several months went by in the blink of an eye.
The Scientific Expedition Team of Southern Union University returned to Azure Star without a hitch.
The ruins that they were searching for were located on Azure Star, the main body of the Azure Star Federation.
After reaching their destination, Milton Cheney took in his surroundings.
The surrounding area was tightly sealed off, and men stationed there greeted Vaughan as they approached.
“Professor Vaughan, has this area been explored before?”
Standing by Vaughan’s side, Milton pointed towards the sealed off area and asked quietly.
Although his voice barely carried, Vaughan could hear him loud and clear.
Hearing this, Vaughan nodded subtly.
Before their Scientific Expedition Team arrived, someone had already explored this place once.
The good thing was that they had eliminated some dangers, making their journey much safer.
However, the downside was that the ruins had been explored before, limiting their research opportunities.
The Scientific Expedition Team, consisting of eight members including Cheney, ventured further into the ruins.
Upon entering, their sights were greeted by a spacious hallway surrounded by scattered rocks.
Surveying the surroundings, Vaughan furrowed his brows.
“The first batch of people who came here had no idea what they were doing, they simply blasted their way in.”
“Looks like our findings this time may not be as fruitful as we had anticipated.” Vaughan said in a solemn tone.
The hallway had been blasted open. Initially, the hallway was just a small narrow passage, now it was inexplicably spacious..
