Chapter 323: 323: There is Someone Waiting Outside
“I can’t be bothered with you. The recording is about to start, and I need to go put on makeup!” With that, she turned to leave.
Rong Yan grabbed her wrist and pulled her back, her tone growing colder, “Hand over your phone.”
“What are you doing! Let go! I told you to let go, did you hear me?” Fu Ya didn’t expect to be yanked back so violently, her back slamming into the bed frame, causing pain while she struggled fiercely.
Rong Yan didn’t waste words with her and pressed down to search her bag, quickly finding a pink cell phone in the pocket of her clothes.
Fu Ya, seeing her phone being snatched away, screamed angrily, “Give me back my phone. Don’t get too cocky, Rong Yan. You really think I won’t tell the director? Give it back now, or I won’t be polite to you.”
Before her words could even finish, Rong Yan’s hand opened and the latest model pink phone dropped to the ground with a loud snap.
Fu Ya was about to lose her mind with rage, trembling as she shouted, “What are you doing!”
Under Fu Ya’s nearly murderous gaze, Rong Yan indifferently stepped on the phone.
Fu Ya’s fingertips were trembling as she pointed at Rong Yan’s nose, “You, you you!”
Oh my, flat shoes don’t seem to crush the screen—what to do? If only she had worn high heels. But…
With one kick, she sent the phone crashing against the bed frame, and the pink phone’s screen shattered on impact, looking just like the time Fu Ya had deliberately stepped on Qi Yue’s phone to break it!
“Sorry, slipped.” Rong Yan looked calmly at the person whose complexion was turning green with anger, almost spitting blood.
She had deliberately kicked her own phone into the bed frame to break it, and she still had the gall to claim she slipped. Fu Ya was close to exploding with rage. With her face ashen, she clenched her fists tightly and said viciously, “You did that on purpose. Everyone saw it, yet you dare claim you slipped.”
“I did slip, just like you did just now, right? So, you did that on purpose too?”
“You! What if I did it on purpose? Qi Yue’s was just an old phone, mine was the latest model bought from abroad.”
Their dormitory was in such an uproar that the staff outside could hear all the commotion.
The director and the producer arrived belatedly, frowning at the tense atmosphere in the room, and asked sternly, “What’s going on here, what’s all this noise about?”
Fu Ya tattled first, pointing at Rong Yan, “Tommy, the director, it’s her. She took my phone and deliberately crushed it.”
The director glanced at the phone on the floor without showing any reaction, then looked at Rong Yan who neither denied nor admitted anything, and surprisingly lashed out at Fu Ya, “It’s just a cell phone; if it’s broken by accident, just buy a new one. Why are you making such a fuss, afraid no one will hear?”
Fu Ya had been full of the expectation that Rong Yan would be scolded for causing such a big scene during the recording of the competition, thinking that the director and producer would also be dissatisfied with Rong Yan. So she tattled with full confidence, waiting to see Rong Yan scolded.
Who would have thought things would turn out so differently—she was the one getting scolded!
“But she did it on purpose…” Fu Ya tried to protest, unhappy with the outcome.
The director didn’t give her a chance to explain, “Are you still making noise? If you don’t want to shoot, then go home!”
These words were much more severe than just being scolded; Fu Ya turned pale and, though still begrudging, she shut her mouth.
After scolding her, the director turned with a friendly attitude to Rong Yan, “Rong Yan, someone is waiting for you outside. Go on out. I have a cold today, so we’re not recording.”
