Chapter 242: Working Together
For the average first year student, this mission wasn't particularly easy, but it wasn't so difficult either.
However, this city has been over run by titan and even gigantic beast, if one wasn't particular careful, one could lose their life without having any idea how they even died in the fist place.
Killing the student might be uncalled for, but along with his bad mood, the student actually had killing intent towards him.
Moreover, he was also heading towards the mansion. It was obvious he was well aware that there were treasures there. If Tyrion had let him go, he would group up with others and look for him or spread the information out since he couldn't gain anything from it.
Having packed the items, Tyrion glanced around and then stared at the rudimentary map on his holo phone before heading towards a particular direction.

At the center of the city, three towers stood together in a triangular formation. The top of the towers leaned towards each other but weren't connected to one another. Massive volts of electricity surged out from the upperost part of the three towers, crackling with the sound of a thunder as they spread to the air like a disappearing branches of a tree.
Three people stood silently at the top the middle tower. Their eyes were all glazed over with a layer of tissue as they stared at the surroundings.
They seem to be able to see peer through the entire city without experiencing the blockage of the buildings and the limit of the human eyesight.
The three people were two men and a single lady. Out of the two men, one was handsome with a smooth baby like skin but the other looked rough with his beard floating along with the intense wind.
They didn't seem old at all, but they weren't particular young. They seem to be in their early and mid twenties.
They were actually Death-Gate academy students and the lady was actually Alicia!
The student who had given killed Jason and Vather during the dimensional assignment given to them and had almost killed Tyrion but then escaped the last minute Tyrion was about to kill her.
"I think that's the last abomination. Their 'DUST' energy show them as three super cells creature, but they only possess a single supercell which contain the most basic of ability; Atomic Breath."
"These abominations are showing clear signs of Hybrid DNA technology. The successful merge of two complete set of DNA increased the strength of these abominations. I didn't think anyone would dare go against the federation considering the punishment carried out against such practices." The handsome man frowned, making him appear even more pretty with the slight furrow of his eyebrows.
Geithner stroked his beard thoughtfully and said. "No matter how harsh the rules are, there would be one willing to go against it. The intense toxic radiation from these abominations should be the main reason for the fall of this city. But we still haven't found the culprit and how he was able to perform the forbidden art."
Alicia shook her head. "He was very careful, not leaving any traces above ground. But from the heat signature of the abominations, There's one thing they have in common."
The two men glanced at Alicia, listening to her explanation.
"Which is?"
Alicia continued. "They all emerged from the sewers. Which means they are likely being created underground."
"The super gene from the Twin-Tailed Astra Hawk is definitely worthy to be among the top ten sight, even matching the sight of an Ancient Raptor." The beared man praised, as though impressed by Alicia's sight ability. But his condescending smile said otherwise.
"Compared to your Berserk Mammoth Strength super gene or Levi's Ancient Scaled-Ape Agility, my Astra eye is nothing."
Alicia completely ignored him, focused on the thermal trails.
"That's enough beguiling, let's head down the sewers, we will be rewarded once we find out the culprit."
Upon hearing the handsome man's voice, they all agreed and leapt away from the tall tower, not minding the height.
All of a sudden Alicia paused as an intense amount of energy erupted out from her body. Her body seem to levitate in mid-air as she stared at a particular direction at the city edge.
A smile gradually creeped its way unto her face as she whispered.
"Didn't think I'd find you this early."
With that, she retracted her Dust energy and let gravity have its way with her as she dropped directly to the ground.

For the next two days, Tyrion checked more houses for treasures but apart from ornamental stones, he wasn't able to find even a low level serum from the houses nearby even after going through multiple districts, and killing the titans that occupied the area.
This infact made him quite puzzled as to why.
Although this was the edge of the city, he was able to find good load of treasures in a mansion, why couldn't he do the same with the others? Would he really have to cooperate with her?
He didn't like things that are uncertain and people that are unstable. From his experience, Lara was definitely the unstable type as he couldn't guess what she was thinking, making her even more dangerous than the others. She was more like him and Tyrion hated people similar to himself for obvious reasons.
Tyrion cerebrated over his conversation with Lara. Her idea for them to cooperate was actually very enticing. Her plans to raid the treasures of the rich folks was even more enticing to Tyrion who really needs Dust energy to boost his strength.
With the connections of her family, she has all of the information about the various wealthy families within the city including the mayor's mansion and the council members houses. But those are off limit since the second year and third year would fight for it, definitely not let it be taken from them.
But in this type of academy, one couldn't be overly too careful which was why he told her he would think about it.
She is obviously from a well off family since she her family could help with such information over this little bit of time that had trespassed. If Tyrion wished to obtain such information, he would need to buy the information from the academy for an astronomical amount of price; a million blood points, something Tyrion lacked at this point.
Autonomously clicking his fingers to the arm rest, he stopped deliberating and typed a message.
[Tyrion: Undeniably a beneficial suggestion. How do we share the loot?]
Soon, Tyrion's phone vibrated as a message notification popped up.
[Kiera: I'm glad I get to work with the Prime. No need to share loot, if you grab it first, you own it. With your strength things would be much easier, happy cooperation. 25.0000° N, 71.0000° W ]
Tyrion squinted his eyes, she slightly indicated that she would depend entirely on his protection, in exchange for the information she possess, but Tyrion knew it definitely wasn't as simply as she claimed it was. But no matter the situation that pop up in the future, he wasn't afraid.
While he hadn't familiarized himself with some of his techniques, he was most confident in his strength.
In the face of absolute strength, all tricks are rendered useless.
Typing in the sent coordinates, his system automatically mapped it, and gave him her exact location on the rudimentary map.
Tyrion immediately headed towards that direction. His footstep suddenly halted as a huge shadow descended in him.
With a casual expression, he stomped his feet, moving twenty meters away from his previous location.
"Bang!"
A large crater appeared where he was previously standing, as a large hand dug into it as though wanting to catch something.
With another stomp of his feet, Tyrion leapt high up in the air, landing onto the elbow of the titan. His speed was too fast as he ran along the arm of the titan, reaching the nape in an instant. NovelFire-article
He blurred past the neck of the titan and with a pfft sound, blood spouted out in mid-air, as a long claw mark appeared in the neck of the titan. The titan wasn't able to let out a single groan as it dropped to the ground, lifeless.
This particular region seem to be filled with shopping complex. At the middle of the region was a particularly large shopping mall, filled with loads of different basic items like clothes, jewelries, accessories, food etc.
But there was something weird about this place. The entire region had somehow transformed into a forest with tall grasses that drowned out smaller shops and trees that blocked out the sunrays, darkening the surrounding environment.
