Chapter 200: Cell Activation Of More Than 100 %
Clay added, "There were other people who tried to pursue Kayla in the past. These people were taught a lesson by Donnie and were afraid to approach Kayla again."
After hearing these things, Tyrion smiled and was not bothered by them.
"I just thought that she looked like my old friend," Tyrion calmly said.
It was then that Tyrion saw a well-dressed man with brown hair walking towards Kayla.
"Here's Donnie!" Prince looked at Donnie awkwardly. It seemed that the two of them might have some bad blood between them.
Donnie was also aware of the stares, especially when his eyes met Tyrion's. He seemed to have noticed Tyrion's gaze previously.
"Another guy wanting to pursue Kayla..." Donnie stared at them with a cold look.
"Donnie, what are you doing here again? Please don't interrupt my learning." Katherine looked up at Donnie indifferently, as if she was looking at a stranger.
At this point, Tyrion noticed that Donnie had walked away with a sullen face. No one could hear what their conversation had been about.
"Hehe, I knew that Donnie would suffer a setback again," Prince laughed and said, "Honestly, I wonder if Kayla has any feelings left at all. Apart from pharmaceutics, she never looked interested in anything else."
...
The Chemist certification test was about to begin, and many of the well-known Chemists at the top of the Chemist's building were greatly concerned with what was going on below.
"Groode, has Mr. Fiend arrived yet?" Gaffieldbo, who was sitting at the head of the meeting table, asked Groode, who was not far away.
More than a hundred people were in the conference room, all of whom were senior members of the Stanlos Chemist Guild. Each of them, except Groode, were also D level Chemists or above. In fact, Groode was not even technically eligible to attend such meetings!
Today's meeting had also attracted the greatest amount of attendees in decades. In the past, it was considered good to have half the number of people that had shown today! And, the reason why they were all here was for one person...Fiend!
"Mr. Gaffieldbo, at that time, I couldn't recognize him, as he had a mask on. However, his letter of recommendation has my mark on it, so long as you look at the letter of recommendation during the test, you will know who Mr. Fiend is," Groode said.
"Mr. Groode, I have checked all of the letters of recommendation and still haven't found yours," Marie, the secretary next to Gaffieldbo, said.
"Is there a Tyrion on the list?" Groode asked.
"There is no such person on the list," Marie responded again.
"No way! Could he have felt that it was beneath him to become a certified Chemist?" Groode wondered aloud, surprised by the news.
The impact of the Enhanced Subatomic Serum was getting more intense by the moment. As such, many forces around the city were pouring in to find the mysterious Fiend Chemist.
Doyle's Chemist headquarters, in particular, had tasked the Death Gate City sub guild with finding the Fiend Chemist at all costs.
Although they knew that the Enhanced Subatomic Serum was not yet ready for mass production, once they found the Fiend Chemist, they would be able to put more efforts towards researching the subject, then mass producing it, even if they had to use up all of the resources that they had.
Unfortunately, the Fiend Chemist had mysteriously disappeared since the last time they saw him. Until now, only Groode, Donald, Levlyn and two police officers had seen the Fiend Chemist in person.
Also, if they had not seen this Fiend Chemist with their own eyes via the security cameras at the mall, many people would've thought that Tronic Mall was even lying his very existence. Now, the only lead they had was that the Fiend Chemist might attend the Chemist certification.
And, Groode had realized that even though the Fiend Chemist was young, he was extremely gifted. In fact, one could even go so far as to categorize him as being an absolute genius with weird and unimaginable ideas! Otherwise, it would not be possible for him to have created the Enhanced Subatomic Serum.
"Today, the Enhanced Subatomic Serum is known as the Fantasy Serum. According to examinations, if one was to take it during the Original Beings stage, then the basic value of the cells' combat power could reach 600 and above, this being only a safe estimate," Elder Jay solemnly reported. "So, Mr. Groode, you must find Mr. Fiend."
Groode, with cold sweat on his forehead, kept pulling out his handkerchief to wipe away his sweat. Groode could not stand the pressure of being under the gaze of so many important elders. He also had not expected that the Enhanced Subatomic Serum would cause such a huge sensation.
The Alchemy Guild had also auctioned off a bottle of Fantasy Serum, which, after having been analyzed and tested in various ways, had yielded a generous amount of data. The level of cell activation reaching 100% was only the doorway to the evolution, which was also known as the Original Beings, which were in the process of evolution. Above that would be the evolved beings.
The Original Being's basic value of cells was 300 points, and in theory, the basic cell value could reach up to 1,000 points. But in fact, the strongest baseline cell value was 900 points.
After the level of cell activation reaches 100%, any ordinary -serum would be useless to increase a basic cell value of 300 points. Hence, most people would tend to enter the Super Soldier level.
Only by self-training intensely and with luck or eating the 3rd dimensional beast meat with a basic cell activation level of more than 300 points, could one reach more than 400 points. At that point, one would already be a genius, so would be using up lot of resources.
As for the basic cell value of more than 600 points, they had not seen it happen once, even in all of the hundreds of years that it had been established! The highest record so far was a basic cell value of 492.
Thus, achieving a basic cell value of 600 points would take a one in a million genius, even in Blue Swirl continent. The strongest warrior god had a basic cell value of 900, and other than him, the second-highest warrior god only had a basic cell value of 783.
