Chapter 132 - 132: Remarks on Product Launch
I have a lot to share with you all. Usually, I’m silently watching through the screen. I see praises, I see criticisms, but I seldom speak out. I’m taking the opportunity now to voice my thoughts.
I noticed many of you mentioned that the protagonist reaching the Mahayana level in just five hundred years is too quick, that life is too short, and so on. To be honest, I don’t usually read standard cultivation novels, and my main impression of cultivation comes from city-based cultivation tales. As you know, in such stories, the cultivation speed is as quick as drinking water – one achieves ascension in just a few years!
That’s why I don’t have much concept of time. With a divine spiritual root and infinite Taoist body, I thought five hundred years wasn’t too quick. It’s a normal pace. I didn’t expect many to think that the cultivation speed is too fast.
As for concepts like Mythical Da Luo, I only knew about them from the comments.
In terms of the powers of various realms, I initially only considered Divinity Transformation, Body Integration and Tribulation Crossing. I thought given the vastness of the universe, it wouldn’t be too much for a cultivator in Body Integration Realm to explode a planet, right? I hadn’t thought about what other realms would be like. This led to the insufficient display of powers from the Qi Cultivation stage to the Nascent Soul stage.
There is also the issue at the very beginning with the Jiang family that sparked a lot of controversy. Many felt that Jiang Li shouldn’t have acted that way, and that he should’ve just killed Jiang Yixing instead of reporting to the authorities.
When I was designing that plot, I considered, wouldn’t it be satisfying if the bad guys could be caught and punished by exploiting loopholes in the system rather than using force?
But now, it seems, the reaction isn’t very positive. They think that, as a Human Emperor, one should be decisive in killing.
Some also find it absurd that someone would abide by laws in the Cultivation World. My idea was, as a transmigrator, when one arrives in the cultivation world and turns from a law-abiding citizen into a powerful killer, has the transmigrator changed the Cultivation World, or has he been assimilated by the Cultivation World?
If one is assimilated by the Cultivation World and changes their original intentions, can they still be considered powerful?
In short, I’ve thought a lot, but it seems like my train of thought doesn’t align with many. Or maybe, it’s due to my penmanship?
Also, about the updates, you may have noticed my usual update time. Only two chapters are out by almost midnight. I have no backlog of chapters. When I was notified to put them online, I was panicking.
Unless something unexpected happens, there will be four chapters today. I’ll update during the day, striving to finish the zombie world. I will gradually repay the debt for the tips I’ve received. Last but not least, I ask for your first subscription..
