Chapter 1171 - Quarter-Finals (7)
Remo "Use Dual Chop"
The two massive scythes glowed and got engulfed with blue destructive energy, Garchomp wanted to take out Dragalge with one hit and prove its dominance on the battlefield.
But Julian was not going to let this happen, most of the time Julian has always been the trainer with pokemons that overpower his opponent\'s pokemon but now his pokemon is far weaker compared to the opponent\'s.
This is where Julian\'s battle knowledge will shine and show the world how great of a champion he really is, not only can he train overpowered pokemons, but he can command the battlefield with much weaker ones as well.
Julian got excited, he decided that he is going to win this battle with only Dragalge and defeat the Mega Garchomp, an impossible task in the eyes of everyone but this was another challenge for Julian.
He is going to go all out for this.
Julian "Dodge then use Protect"
Dragalge used Aqua Tail again and propelled his body to the side but Garchomp didn\'t want to let the little dragon escape, he was able to dodge the first chop but the second one won\'t miss, Garchomp slammed its right leg hard on the ground diagonally and shot towards Dragalge with full speed pointing its glowing scythe at Dragalge.
Dragalge had already created a sphere of protective shield around him.
Julian "Aqua Tail again"
At the very last moment when Garchomp was about to make contact, Dragalge used Aqua Tail on the ground again which moved him to the side alongside his protective shield but this was not done to dodge Garchomp\'s attack.
As the sphere-shaped protective shield moved to the side, Garchomp\'s incoming chop landed on the edge and not on top, this caused all the energy to be dispersed to the side causing the sphere-shaped protective shield to act as a ball and shoot through the air.
This was simple physics that Julian used.
The energy behind Garchomp\'s chop was so much that the ball of protective shield along with Dragalge traveled over 40 meters in a second.
Dragalge quickly removed the protective shield around him and used Iron Tail and stabbed the ground to stop himself from being flung out of the battlefield.
Julian "Now, Dragon Pulse"
While Dragalge was still in the process of using Iron Tail and stopping himself, he also charged out a Dragon Pulse and blasted it towards Garchomp.
And to the normal eyes, it looked like Dragalge just used two moves at the same time, but what happened was the timing between the activation of these two moves was in centiseconds, but to normal eyes, they are no different.
The Dragon Pulse was not less powerful either, it tore through the air and smashed on the left side of Mega Garchomp\'s face causing it to rattle and push the monster and almost take off its feet of the ground.
Garchomp was once again angered as the weak pokemon was about to land another hit on it.
Remo also frowned as he had never seen moves implemented like this ever before.
Remo \'No wonder they call him the greatest, even at a disadvantage, he is playing with my pokemon\'
Remo thought and gritted his teeth.
Remo "Garchomp, use Dragon Claw"
Unlike Julian, Remo is not a very technical trainer like Julian, he uses brute force to defeat his opponents that are also why his choice of pokemons are dragons as they have the most destructive and powerful moves.
Garchomp rushed towards Dragalge again with fury, the Dragon Claws were massive and executed destructive energy.
Garchomp is out for destruction.
Julian "Use the same method again"
Julian commanded.
Dragalge once again used Protect just like before and when Garchomp was about to hit, he used Aqua Tail and moved to the side at the very last second causing the Dragon Claw to make contact with the edges of the sphere causing it to fly away again.
This frustrated Garchomp even more, every time it tried to attack Dragalge, Dragalge would do the same thing and escape Garchomp and then counter-attack with Dragon Pulse.
Though a single Dragon Pulse didn\'t show too many signs of damage on Garchomp, now all these Dragon Pulse started to build up and Mega Garchomp was showing signs of exhaustion and frustration.
Dragalge was doing a simple dodge and attack strategy which worked perfectly against a brute force trainer like Remo.
If Remo continues to do this, he is going to lose very badly and it would be a very embarrassing loss.
To lose to a pokemon that is weaker than it and on top of that his own pokemon gone through a mega evolution, losing would be a massive blow to his reputation.
