Chapter 339 Getting The Invitation Stone
"YES!"
Lenny screamed as he stood up from the bed.
He looked around.
He was in a room in the house.
The moment he woke up, Mai rushed over to him.
"Thank Angel Wings. You are finally awake!
"I thought you were really going to die. If you had not woken up, then I might as well..."
Lenny stood up from the bed, not minding her one bit.
She was a bit surprised by this, but she still followed behind him.
They arrived at the lab in the courtyard, and before she could say anything, he had started with the experiments.
However, she noticed that this time around, he did things much differently.
It was as if he had been touched by the sacred god of medicine and was doing things she had never seen before.
Many of which he did not even look at; his hands just traced them and mixed them as needed.
And then he did something strange.
He waved a hand, and as the katana appeared from seemingly nowhere, he used it to cut his arm.
Some blood poured into a bowl.
And then he went over to the table where the fifty toxic, poisonous plants were kept.
His hands hovered above them a bit, and then he sniffed the air, and finally, he found the right one he needed.
Without protection from the toxin, he cut the plant into smaller chunks.
His method was very unlike anything Mani had ever seen.
He was doing it more like a vegetable.
The moment he started cutting the toxin, Mani stepped back and used a face mask.
She was not going to take any unnecessary risks with this.
Next, Lenny took the first patch of grass from the pocket space and also cut it down.
As he worked, he could not help but whistle his favorite working tune.
A habit he had when he was enjoying the flow of the work.
Meanwhile, as he worked, Ella observed him from the balcony.
She was very interested in whatever it was that Lenny was going to make.
After all, she had watched him down toxic, poisonous plants like he was enjoying sushi.
Finally, he poured the cut substances into the bowl with his blood in it.
After which, he blended them altogether, and then he waved his hands as white flames arose and surrounded the mixture.
As he did this, there was suddenly a rumbling in the sky.
He looked above, and it was thunder.
A faint realization came to him as he turned to Mani. "How long was I out?"
She folded her fingers as she told him.
"About two days!"
"TWO DAYS!? Shit!! The summer solstice is today."
Mani nodded.
Lenny frowned, "Why the fuck didn't you wake me up since?"
Even though he said this, he knew that it was not her fault.
Even if she had tried, he would not have woken up.
After all, he was enjoying his time with his experiments within his own body.
There was absolutely nothing Mani could have done.
However, it was still easier to put the blame on her.
Immediately, his hands went into overdrive.
Lenny was not a fool.
There was thunder in the sky.
He knew what this meant.
Ciri was starting the ritual that would make her souls merge and become one.
She was doing the ritual that would make her reach the Elder Witch level.
This was not a good sign.
An elder witch had power that could rival a great demon.
Lenny had only ever met one great demon.
And that was Momoa.
Although he had not seen the true extent of his power, he had still seen the demon's daughter bring down a rank 1 hell beast by just stepping on it.
Vinegar was a rank 6 deep-level demon.
If she had that much power to deal with the paraglider the way she did, Lenny could not imagine what kind of power a person like Momoa had.
And now that Ciri was climbing the power ranks to reach that level, the thought of it was truly scary.
Nevertheless, Lenny knew he did not have time.
He used his white flame at the right temperature, mimicking his body temperature at the time he had formed the exert mixture in his body.
Finally, after a few more seconds, it was ready.
A clear, colorless liquid was formed.
Mani immediately understood what was going on.
She looked around and then remembered that Lenny had used up all the experimental pigs.
"Wait a bit, please; I'll go get more pigs."
She hurried out.
"Don't worry, there is no need. I'm the guinea pig."
He turned some of the content into another cup and then drank it.
Mani watched this in surprise.
As far as she was concerned, the same thing that happened before was going to repeat itself again.
However, Lenny only staggered for a bit before getting himself together.
And they walked forward.
As he did, she noticed something.
Even before he reached the table obstructing his path, the table moved aside.
As he walked away, everything seemed to push away from him.
In fact, if she looked properly, she could see that he seemed to walk on air.
At this point, she immediately took some of the substance he had consumed and put it under a microscope.
What she saw was unbelievable.
Mani acted as Ella's driver, but that did not mean that she did not have other skills.
It was the reason Ella had assigned her as Lenny's assistant.
This meant that she had some form of medical knowledge.
This thing Lenny had created was a medical breakthrough.
As she watched him leave towards the pocket space, she couldn't resist the urge instantly. She turned the substance into a different container as she rushed to meet Ella.
On the other hand, Lenny advanced towards the pocket space.
He had a smile on his face.
After all, he had figured it out, and now he was going to get that invitation stone.
