Chapter 296
Chapter 296
Tondemo Skill - 296 - Doran\'s Dungeon - Bonus
It’s our second go at the dungeons of Doran.
We directly raced down the floors until we reach Level 15 to avoid the many Adventurers and weak monsters. Even Level 16 was not interesting enough for Fer & Co. [5]
When I say race, we really did race through the floors. Rushing past the monsters with Fer or Dora-chan quickly taking out the dungeon bosses with a single blow before leaping down the stairs.
In the end, we raced past all the floors and stopped at Level 22. The Giant Zone.
“Sui, we’ve reached the 22nd floor,” I patted the leather bag where Sui had been riding all this while.
““Yay~! Sui will take down lots~!””
Sui called out happily as she bounced out of the bag and hopped forward into the rugged stone passageway into the tunnel.
Beyond the tunnel was a semi-dome shaped room where Trolls and Minotaurs hung out.
“”Sui will get them~!”
“Ahh! I’m one step too late!”” Dora-chan muttered as he whipped around my head.
“It’s fine,” I told him soothingly. “You can attack the next few monsters. Just let Sui have this battle.”
“”Tch, I guess it can’t be helped,””
We watched Sui from the end of the tunnel. A giant over three meters tall saw Sui roared and [6] brandished his club at her.
[6] Sui looked even tinier in contrast, but she was not scared at all.
Pew! Pew! Pew!
Deadly Acid Bullets began flying through the air striking the Trolls and Minotaurs. The accuracy of her Acid Bullets was incredible, hitting their chests and melting outwards into gaping holes.
Trolls and Minotaurs were no matched for the upgraded Sui.
“”Aruji~ I defeated them all~!”
“Woah, that was quick Sui. You’re so amazing!”
Alright, time to pick up the Drops.
Everyone helped me since they were all eager to proceed to the next levels.
We had lunch on the go and our journey went on smoothly all the way to the 24th floor.
Fer & Co.’s powers were too high against the local dungeon monsters so we ended up just sending one of our party (minus myself) against the monsters.
Even so, it was more of a massacre than a proper dungeon run.
Right now, they had improved so much they were killing giant monsters with a single hit. I’ve levelled up too but my strength is nothing against theirs.
All the monsters at the Giant Zone, Trolls, Minotaurs, and Spriggans [9] were practically destroyed before they could even roar in our direction.
Speaking of which, I picked up lots of Drops.
Interestingly enough, Spriggans dropped things like jewels.
Drop collection-wise, we’re good to return to the surface. However, I’m afraid none of my familiars would be willing to leave yet.
““Ooh, yeah! My turn next!”” Dora-chan crowed triumphantly and zoomed into the room.
Stab! Stab! Stab!
With Fire Magic wreathed around his body combined with high-speed velocity, Dora-chan stabbed through the giants like a high powered spear.
“”I’m not done yet!”
Stab! Stab! Stab!
The giants swung their arms and weapons desperately at Dora-chan who zipped around their attacks easily, making a mockery of their attacks.
Stab!
Finally, the last remaining Spriggan fell to the floor with a ground-shaking thump.
“”Done! What do you think of my style, eh?””
Yes, yes, no need for that huge smirk. I still need to collect all the Drops. In fact, even with all of us working together, it took us longer to collect the Drops than it did for Dora-chan to clear the room.
“”Aruji, Sui is hungry~””
“Umu. it’s a bit early but we could eat something,” Fer lifted his snout and pointed down the passageway. “There should be a safe area a little further ahead.”
“Alright, let’s head over there for dinner and some rest.”
[Gumihou: …700 words only? Seriously? Ah, but it’s pretty exciting though]

[9] Spriggans – depicted as grotesquely ugly, wizened old men with large childlike heads. Considered to be the ghosts of giants.
