Chapter 67 Using [Mana Steal] A Second Time
But now that he saw Harry in the wind hall, he was sure of one thing: it wasn't a low grade affinity but a dual affinity!
While Trent was hot-headed, he wasn't stupid. He knew no other students except from the ones that belonged to the element hall couldn't be allowed into the spell library—they wouldn't even be allowed into the hall, talk-less of the spell library.
This alone meant, Harry also had a wind affinity!
He was already annoyed by the fact that Harry was registered into the lightning hall, he hated it.
Even if it was only a low-grade lightning affinity, Trent would still be unhappy as this meant Harry would officially become an Elementalist—which he already had.
Dual Elementalists were very rare as most people only awakened one affinity.
Though it was possible for an Elementalist to have a dual affinity or two low grade Elements, the possibility was very low.
Most people with dual affinities often awakened either a medium grade affinity along with a low grade one or two medium grade affinities.
The more talented ones had either a peak or high grade affinity along with any other affinity between low to peak grade.
There was even a slight possibility that Harry… was even more talented than… him! The moment this thought flashed through his eyes, his 'mana pressure' exploded.
He locked it on Harry and tried to push him down to his kneels.
Throughout his life, he had lived with the notion that he Harry was lesser than him and just the thought of Harry being more special than he was irked him to the core.
Yeet who was still standing beside Trent felt his lungs tighten, he tried to reach out and remind Trent of his presence but he couldn't move any part of his body.
He was only a stage one Elementalist and couldn't stand in front of the 'pressure' of a powerful Elementalist like Trent. He could only stand there and tremble like the weak 'ant' he was.
Meanwhile, Trent's gaze remained locked on Harry. His brows furrowed slightly as he increased the pressure even more, he didn't understand why Harry was reacting even though he was being affected by his full mana pressure.
Since Trent was only locking his pressure on Harry, it didn't spread out to other parts of the library so the other students in the library didn't feel the pressure.
The students had made sure to stay as far away from Trent as possible, most of them had even left the library the moment they noticed Trent.
Trent's anger boiled even more when Harry turned towards him. The nonchalant expression in Harry's eyes irritated him even more, it was as if Harry didn't even see him as someone worth his time.
Trent couldn't hold it anymore as took a step forwards and started walking towards Harry.
"You… what are you doing here…?" Trent asked when he got closer to Harry. He squinted his eyes slightly when he noticed the height difference between he and Harry.
Even though, the difference was very small as it was only by about three centimeters, Trent still wasn't happy about it.
He could also see that Harry appearance had changed—improved for the better, it was now a far cry from the last time he met him.
All throughout their lives, Trent had always been the taller one.
Harry height used to be 160cm while Trent's was 168cm. Due to the fact that Harry wasn't taken care of very well, Trent's growth was smoother and faster while Harry's was very slow and more stagnated.
"That's none of your business." Harry replied with a voice laced in hate.
A slight smirk appeared on Trent's face when he heard Harry's reply. "I think you're forgetting something…" Trent said.
It didn't matter that Harry was now an Elementalist, he would always be the stronger one.
Suddenly a weird expression appeared on his face, he stepped even closer as he asked: "Where have you been staying?"
A few weeks ago, Trent visited his parents and to his surprise he didn't meet Harry at home.
He knew Harry was okay since he saw him in the academy. He didn't need to think too much before he realized that Harry had moved out of the house. He wasn't really worried or anything but he was still curious as to where Harry now lived.
"That's none of your business." Harry replied nonchalantly. Harry was also still trying his best to hold in his anger, he was barely holding himself from grabbing Trent's throat and activating "Lightning stun".
He could sense the pressure around him increasing, however, it would never affect him. Even the pressure of a full-fledged mage was useless against him talk-less of that of an Elementalist.
Trent's brows furrowed in annoyance, that nonchalant tone of Harry really annoyed him.
An evil smirk appeared on Trent's face, he took a step backwards while chuckling slightly.
"Do you think you could talk to me anyhow…?" Trent said. Wind mana circulated around his right hand, his uniform bloated slightly due to the wind accumulated in then.
"Spinning air strike!" He shouted as he threw a punch towards Harry face. The wind around his hand moved to his fists as they stirred violently.
He shifted his attention to Harry's face, expecting to see a fearful expression, but instead… Harry was smirking?
The smirk on Harry's face only got wider as Trent fist closed in on him.
Just as it was about to get to his face, Harry raised one of his hands and grabbed it midway.
The wind behind the punch hit him as it roughed his hair, his uniform also fluttered for a few seconds before finally returning to normal.
Trent's eyes widened as he stared at his the hand holding his fists, his gaze moved to Harry's face and then back to his fists. Only one thought kept playing in his mind: 'How…?'
The spell Trent just used was a tier two spell, [Spinning air strike], just as the name suggested, the spell was one that channeled wind mana to the fist.
When released as a punch, the wind would gather around the fist in a spinning motion and then hit the target.
It would not only amplified the force of the punch but the spinning force of the wind would also cause additional damage, yet all it did to Harry was roughen his hair and flutter his clothes.
Though Trent had only kept the spell strength at the minimum, it was still shocking that it didn't do any damage to Harry.
The smirk on Harry's face still remained, making Trent even more annoyed. Trent tried to pull back his fists from Harry's grip, however… he couldn't even move his hand!
Even though Trent had used a spell, his movements were still too slow for Harry.
Harry's stats had improved greatly since his confrontation with Han, with his current strength, he was sure facing a stage two Elementalist wouldn't give him any problems.
The smirk on Harry's face only widened as he muttered on two words: "Mana steal."
