So, this is what Azarex\'s status looks like. Immediately, he noticed the similarities and differences between him and Vexar.
The similarity being, that both were lesser types of their species and were also tier I with [O%] in their way to filling the core.
Azarex\'s stats were more heavily focused on the magic side, whereas Vexar\'s were on the physical side, and that makes sense. He also noticed that Azarex has two types of magic affinity, just like him. And both of them sound ominous—Death and Darkness. But that was a good thing, as he was now on his side.
\'So, the thing in his skull is called the Death Crystal, \'he thought after seeing it mentioned in the mutation section.
And now was the time to reveal the thing he was waiting for— his exclusive abilities. Without even opening it, he knew which he was going to select.
Dhruv clicks on the letter showing the names of the abilities to open their description..
[Soul Bond: You are bonded with your masters through souls.]
This one was pretty simple and explanatory in itself.
[Undead: You are a creature of Death.]
This was also simple in its description, but after talking to Azarex, I found out that this is a pretty complex attribute. According to him, he would get many benefits from being undead due to this attribute, like increased comprehension in death magic, a lack of fatigue, and curses wouldn\'t affect him. But there was also some downside to this, as he couldn\'t use magic related to holy very well, would receive extra damage from holy or light magic, and couldn\'t sleep or eat anything.
But this wasn\'t the end of it as he would get its effects and flaws enhanced with each evolution. So, even after these flaws, I wanted to copy this attribute... but to my disappointment, I couldn\'t copy it because I wasn\'t undead.
So, he looked at the third—technically, second— attribute...
[Poison immunity: You are immune to natural poison.]
This attribute wasn\'t of any use to Azarexa, as he didn\'t have any blood vessels. So this attribute was pretty much useless to him.
But!... But in the hands of Dhruv, it would give him so much passaway, that he couldn\'t even imagine.
He would not only resist but also be totally immune to any type of poison in nature. This was such a big thing that it couldn\'t even be described in words. Now that this whole evolution thing has begun, God knows how many monsters or beasts will evolve to use poison as their offensive tool.
But one thing that confused him a lot was that, in the attribute description, it was mentioned that it would only work against natural poison... which means there must be different types of poison. One such type of poison he could think of right now is a magical type.
After all, when anything was possible with magic, why not poison?
He quickly tells Azarex to come close so he can transfer this attribute to himself... afraid that the cosmos will strip him of his ability to copy-paste.
He put one hand on his skull near the death crystal and began the process. His mind goes black Just a moment later, he touches the skull. And now he is floating in the middle of nowhere, which was arguably the inside of the Azarex monster core*.
The moment he thought of copying the attribute, three attributes began floating in front of him in the form of a dark orb. He noticed that there was a shield surrounding the [Soul Bond] and [Undead] attributes, preventing him from touching them. He looks at the lonely [Poison immunity], the only one that wasn\'t surrounded by a shield... and says that he can copy it.
He hesitated for a moment, thinking of the consequences that could befall on him. But he quickly dismissed it, knowing, now wasn\'t the time to step back.
As his hand trembled, he reached for the orb. A spark surged through him as he made contact. Time itself slows down as Dhruv begins to feel something changing within himself, something at a fundamental level. The process wasn\'t painful like his previous works, on the contrary, it was almost relaxing.
But the peace didn\'t last, as just a moment later, the relaxing feeling was gone. But there was still a smile on his face, and the reason for this smile was the notification floating in front of him.
[You have received the exclusive attribute Poison immunity.]
He had received the attribute, and just as it was mentioned, there was still [Poison immunity] orb floating in Azarexs\' Core.
After finishing the process, he closes his eyes and gets transported into his body.
"Thank you Azarex for letting me copy your exclusive attribute." With a pleasant smile, Dhruv thanked Azerax.
"You don\'t have to thank this lowly servant like me for anything, My lord. I exist only for the sole purpose of serving you... and I am very happy with it." Azarex countered Dhruv almost instantly.
Dhruv knew it wasn\'t wise to argue with him, so he simply nodded.
Knowing now that it was his turn, Alaric comes forward and stops in front of Dhruv.
Name: Alaric
Species: Lesser shadow
Core: Tier I [O%]
Magic Affinity: Shadow (S), Shield (D)

Dhruv gazes at Alaric\'s status... But before he could even read it properly, a new and terrifying notification appeared on top, shadowing some of its information.
The new notification was terrifying, yet a smile appeared on Dhruv\'s face... after reading it...
