Chapter 980 Void Of Oblivion Makes Its Move Part 1

"Your Highness, the portals all seem to be jammed up." A skeleton wearing full armor reported.

"Jammed up!? What do you mean!?" The skeleton sitting on a throne made of bones asked. Its hollow eyes were filled with an eerie blue light that could be seen in the dark recesses of the skull that made up its head. Its black thorn armor covered its white boney body as it looked down at the skeleton wearing the full armor as if it was the king of the world.

"How is it possible that you are jammed up? This is my magic! I know how it works. There is no way to get stuck in the portal transfer. You can\'t even enter it from the opposite direction! Even if the portal was under a rock, it would put you on the other side of it after you have moved through it. So tell me, what do you mean by my portals are jammed!?" The skeleton sitting on the throne of bones yelled out.

"We do not know. We can not push more troops through, nor can we pull them back. We have skeleton troops stuck halfway in the portal and are not able to go through. The other half is still stuck in our realm!" The skeleton wearing full armor answered.

"Ridiculous! How is that even possible!?" The skeleton on the throne of bones did not understand he had personally created this magic circle and knew its functions. There would be no way to stop anything from going through it. It was then that something came to mind. "Impossible!"

The skeleton on the throne of bones stood up and marched out of the room, leaving the skeleton with full armor on still kneeling there, unsure if it should get up and follow. After a moment\'s hesitation, it finally did get up and follow.

The skeleton who had been sitting on the throne of bones walked out to where it had set up the portals and saw a massive jam of soldiers all lined up, waiting to be transferred to the ascended realm. But he did not get it. He did not understand why there was a jam! "Everyone pull back! Stop trying to move through the portal!"

The skeleton who had been sitting on the throne of bones marched over to the closest portal and waved its hand, blowing all the skeletons out of his way. It then grabbed the skeleton that was half in the portal and pulled on it breaking its body in two, and tossed it aside before waving its hand once more and sending a black flaming ball into the portal.  One after the other, it kept sending in black flaming balls into the portal.

On the other side, the skeletons, who were all trapped inside the barrier, were stacked on top of each other, pressed up against the barrier itself. That was until a booming sound began to be heard from under the pile of skeletons, and soon all the skeletons were destroyed, and the barrier was now filled with black flames as it shook from the constant attacks.

High above it, a lizard girl sat in the air, looking down at the barrier with pursed lips. "What\'s the point of destroying your own people!? Just make a portal that will allow me to enter!"

As Kana sat there and watched the display of fireworks waiting for some change in the portal in the Void of Oblivion, a certain fox girl was standing on top of a mountain drenched in blood. "Kiliffia! Don\'t think just because you are a little talented, that we can not defeat you. Give up the Crimson Chaos Star!"

"Huh? Why would I give it up after I killed so many of you to get it? You only have yourselves to blame for being weak! My goals are not like your simplistic goals. I have no choice but to grow stronger and stronger, or else I can never meet back up with her! From this moment on, I will not stop until I stand at the top of the Void of Oblivion!" With these words, the fox girl picked up the crimson star shaped object and opened her mouth, and ate it in one gulp. A strange power radiated out of her body, blowing away the last of her enemies as she soon became encased in a crimson cocoon.

"Damn it! She ate it!" A young man yelled out in anger. He looked at the top of the mountain that was now covered in a crimson veil of winds. He did not dare go near them because they seemed to be immensely powerful.

"Young master, what do we do now!?" A young woman asked as she looked up at the handsome young man whose eyes were filled with killing intent.

"We wait… We wait to see what kind of being she actually turns into." The young man replied through gritted teeth. At this moment, Kiliffia was feeling pain she had never felt before as her tails fell off and were replaced by twenty bumps that began to grow slowly.

In another part of the Void of oblivion, Tilia was covered in ice as she sat in a frozen craven. Her eyes glowed with an icy blue light as she slowly opened them. Her skin and air all now had an icecy blue gleam to them as the light from the sun reflected down through the ice cavern. "Master, I have become one with the ice element…."

"Mmm… you have finally reached the first stage. Not bad to do so in such a short time. You are now ready for the second phase of your training." A woman dressed in a white gown walked over to Tilia and bent over, and placed her hand on TIlia\'s head. "When you become one with the ice element and can turn the world around you into a world of ice, your world of ice, you will have finished the second stage and can move on to the final stage."

"Yes, master." Tilia had been training with this woman for many months after that old man suddenly threw her into this place called the void of oblivion. She had survived countless life and death situations and was even on the verge of death when her master found her and brought her away to train. It seemed she had a strong affinity with ice and was now learning how to become the Ice Goddess. Someone who can flip her hand and turn an entire planet into a frozen wasteland with temperatures that can instantly freeze an object into solid ice with a single glance, no matter how powerful they are.
