Chapter 264 - Gathering
Chapter 264 - Gathering
Sei did not waste any time returning to the mortal realm. She gritted her teeth as she stood in front of Creige. "They… They won\'t be sending anyone…"
Creige\'s brow furrowed. "I see. Does that mean you and the perverted fox are returning?" Creige asked.
"No! I will not return. I have already told Yuthia\'s uncle that we will no longer have anything to do with the realm of gods. I will not sit idly by when my friend\'s homeworld is in a bind. It might not seem so, but Yuthia and I both cherish our friendship with Kana. This world is her homeworld, and we will stay and fight until our last breath. We will live or die with this world. I am truly sorry I couldn\'t have done more." Sei replied, bowing her head.
"Sei, you know me well. I am sure my uncle is tearing his hair out now." Yuthia\'s weak voice floated into the room. She was barely able to walk as she used the wall to hold herself up.
"Why did you leave the magical array!?" Sie yelled as she quickly went to Yuthia\'s side.
"No one was keeping me updated on things, so I had to come to find out myself. But it seems my uncle has decided to abandon everything, huh? Figured as much. He was always someone who listened to the higher ups, never daring to go against them. Haha… So much for family ties." Yuthia let out a bitter laugh.
"I wish you wouldn\'t bad mouth me like that when I am not around Yuthia…" A man\'s voice cut in. A bright flash of light filled the room, and as it dimmed, five figures appeared. "Sorry, this is all I could gather who were willing to come to the mortal world with me."
"Uncle…?" Yuthia began to tear up. Her stickler uncle actually went against those old bastards at the top\'s orders!?
"Do you think I can just let you die here in the mortal world? How would I ever answer your parents if I did not at least come and die by your side? But if anything, you should thank this little girl here. She made me realize I should follow what my heart says and not those old bastards." Fox High God Methiesee said with a smile. He walked over and shot a flow of his divine power into Yuthia, expelling the death element in her body.
"Thank you." Yuthia said with a smile before doing something she would never have done before and hugged Fox High God Methiesee. She was very grateful that her uncle was willing to come and help.
"Geeze, such a sugary scene. Look, even old Methiesee is frozen solid from your out of character action Yuthia." A young woman with horns and a tail said as she smiled. This was the only dragon in the realm of gods Rilneas.
"Rilneas, you came too?" Sei asked in surprise.
"Of course, my little seedling\'s world is in trouble. I can not sit by and let it die so quickly. We even grabbed a few old fogies from the academy as well." By grab, she meant she threatened to kill them if they didn\'t come. Each one was masters at healing. Instead of firepower, they needed the ability to sustain. Only then did they have a chance to plan their way to victory.
"Hehe… Thank you all!" Yuthia said, giving a bow. She was now full of energy due to the death element being expelled.
"With this many, we should be able to hold on for a while." Creige finally spoke up as he sized up the new arrivals.
"Hey, Criege, don\'t forget about me as well." Another voice entered the hall. Everyone turned to see two cat girls walking in.
"Nergal!? And… And… A hellfire cat!?" Yuthia suddenly yelled out.
"Yo! Yuthia, long time no see. By the way, can you not look at my future wife like that, please? It makes me want to kill you." Nergal\'s way of speaking sounded very gentle and polite but the words coming out of her mouth made people\'s spines shiver.
"Humph! Who wants her when I get my loveable Sei!?" Yuthia snapped back. She and Nergal were always like this.
"You\'re here. That was fast…" Creige said, his cold expressionless face suddenly gave a faint smile.
"You! Don\'t get designs on my future wife!" Nergal, who was talking with Yuthia and Sei, suddenly shouted and charged at Creige.
"Wait, Nergal, don\'t!" Cielie tried to reach out and stop Nergal, but she was too late.
*Bang!*
"Ahh!"
*Crash!*
"What the hell!? Isn\'t he just a mortal!" Nergal\'s voice came from a big pile of rubble from the wall she just destroyed just now after crashing into it.
"Haha! Young lady, you may be a god, but you can\'t put this man in the same boat as normal mortals. He is what is called an oddity." A wrinkled old face man said while letting out a laugh.
"Uhg… Nergal I tried to stop you. Remember when I said my sister had a husband who was really strong… Well… That\'s him…" Ceilie walked over and helped Nergal up and dusted her clothes off for her. "Don\'t just attack everyone who smiles at me!"
"Mm… If Ceilie says sooo…" Nergal pouted. She turned to Creige and stuck her tongue out at him.
Completely ignoring Nergal, Creige looked at Ceilie and asked: "How did you get here so fast?"
"Ahh well about that. This girl… She basically threatened the Fae and told them if they did not let her use the teleported to the Munas continent she would destroy the entire city. So we were able to teleport directly to Rural with the help of the Fae. You should expect a Fae army of a few million soon… " Ceilie explained as she pet the top of Nergal\'s head. Nergal had wrapped her arms around Ceilie\'s waist and was nuzzling her nose into Ceilie\'s stomach.
"Mmm… She did good then. With the help of the other races and the old men we should be able to hold out long enough. I can feel that my wife has begun her next evolution. Hopefully she will finish what she is doing. Our job is to make sure the world is safe for her to return to."
