Chapter 259 - Training Continues
Yuthia turned her head and looked at the handsome man who suddenly appeared. Her expression showed just how confused she was to see Kana\'s handsome Husband show up out of nowhere. "Why are you here?"
"Because you are my wife\'s friend, and your wife asked me to come and get you. Plus this place is very dangerous for you. As I see it by how your arm looks now, you will go mad within the hour. So let\'s go back for now." Creige answered.
Yuthia\'s eyes began to well up with tears as she nodded her head. She did not want to go any further either. But she was willing to sacrifice it all just to accomplish her mission. But here was someone who had come to get her all because of her friends and family. Yuthia truly felt blessed to have such people at her side.
Creige did not say another word before creating another tear in space. He let Yuthia go through first before turning his head and looking down towards the floor. He frowned slightly before entering the tear.
Deep below the church, in a large room on a throne made of skulls, sat a man with long white hair, his face sunken in, making him look sickly. In front of him kneeling on the floor were the pope and two high priests. "To think people who worship the gods were the ones to open a pathway to the devils realm. Sadly the power you accumulated was only enough to let me through. But that is enough for the time being. I want you three to lead the humans to wage war on the beastkin. We will use the deaths of millions as the key to fully open the door. And when that door is open, we devils will finally be free once again. This continent will become our new home, where we will spread outward until the whole world is ours. From there lies the realm of gods."
"Your viciousness, we will heed your command and rain terror down on to the masses of this world." The pope said with reverence.
"As it should be. Go now, show me your loyalty. Once the gate is open, I will give you the power you seek." The man waved his hand, sending the pope and two high priests off. Once they left the room, the man let out a laugh. "Fools! You really listened to a devil!"
Halfway up the stairs, High Priest Randals could no longer hold himself back as he asked: "Your Holiness, are you sure that man can be trusted?"
"Of course not! Only a fool would trust that man. Everyone has their own agenda. He wants to rule this world by letting only those who work under him through the portal. But my plan is much grander than that. I will not let some low level devil do as he pleases. If it was not for the fluke that opened and shut the gate, he would never have been able to get through. The one we want is stronger than the high gods. He is the one we wish to let loose into our world, the devil king Vistar." The Pope explained. "Just do as I tell you, and we will all be rewarded greatly."
"By the light of Yuthia!" High Priest Randals said, bowing his head slightly. His words made the pope smile as they made their way up the stairwell.

"Keep it up, go faster!" Sister Mu yelled as she continuously attacked Kana.
Kana was doing her best to block each attack. She had been undergoing Sister Tu\'s training in swords learning and absorbing everything in. In order to get to where she was now, she had to deal with much hardship. Sister Mu was brutal when it came to fighting with swords. Her motto was, "If you lose an arm, leg, or even your head, you will understand the pain that comes with not using your sword correctly." Not only did she lose an arm and leg, but she was sure she had died a few times as well.
She had started off sitting on top of a large rock, meditating, trying to hear the voice of her sword. The first two days were fine. But then, all of a sudden, in the dead of night, a giant lizard with six heads showed up and started spitting fire and or elements at her with each of its heads. She was lucky to even survive the sudden attack. After many hours she finally defeated the giant six headed lizard. But her fighting did not end there. Night after night, after killing the lizard, she was forced to fight even stronger monsters as they appeared. She was starting to think that Sister Mu was responsible for sending the monsters at her, but when she asked, Sister Mu just waved her off and dodged the question.
After three long months, Kana finally heard a faint voice coming from her sword. As the days after progressed, that faint voice grew louder and louder. It was not like a voice that she could understand but more of a running sound that came from the sword itself. When she held the sword, she really felt as if the sword had become part of her body. And not many months later, she was being tormented for hours on end by Sister Mu, who would attack her nonstop.
"If you keep retreating without pushing forward, you will never reach the last floor! Come on, don\'t be a coward and strike at me!" Sister Mu yelled. For everything she was saying, deep down, she was truly shocked at how quickly Kana learned things. To get this far in less than a year was no simple feat! She, of course, would not let this be known. She did not want Kana getting full of herself or too prideful because, in this universe, there was always someone stronger.
As for Kana, hearing Sister Mu egg her on, she gritted her teeth and waited for an opening. She swung her body around and stabbed out.
*Clang!*
"Good! That is what I am talking about. Now let\'s speed things up!" Kana\'s attack was easily blocked but just because Kana did successfully counter, Sister Mu\'s excitement grew more as she sped up her attacks. This, of course made Kana want to cry.
