Chapter 1260 - Serious Injury
Chapter 1260: Serious Injury
It was none other than Chen Ming.
“Young Master Yulin!”
Chen Ming was delighted to see him and quickly went upstairs. He wanted to ask Huo Yulin if he was alright, but he promptly saw the blood on his clothes and more blood trickling down his right hand.
Chen Ming instantly looked worried. “Young Master Yulin, are you…”
Huo Yulin raised his hand and interrupted Chen Ming. He removed the mike from his ear and turned it off. “Pull out.”
Chen Ming hurriedly helped to support him. As he helped Huo Yulin, he could see the blood dripping from Huo Yulin’s clothes including the red pool on the ground.
It was a fatal injury. The bullet had gotten him from behind before exiting from the front of his chest right in the heart.
Huo Yulin was still conscious as he leaned against Chen Ming’s arm. “Don’t tell Huo Yao about this.”
Chen Ming’s hand trembled. He knew Huo Yulin’s personality well, so he could only nod. “Got it. Stop talking. I will send you to the hospital immediately.”
“If I don’t make it, please tell my uncle that I’m sorry for disappointing him. I was unable to find any clues about Aunt Tong. Don’t let my sister get dragged into this.”
Huo Yulin kept talking until he slumped his head powerlessly.
......
Chen Ming could tell that Huo Yulin was in a bad state. His eyes turned red and the veins on the back of his hands throbbed. There was no time. He quickly told his men to help put Huo Yulin on his back so that he could carry him downstairs. When he was about to go downstairs, he noticed the surgical knife lying on the ground.
He cautiously bent over to pick up the surgical knife and placed it in his pocket. He turned to tell his subordinates. “One of you will stay behind to clean the blood.”
Chen Ming left the institute with Huo Yulin before the security guards could get to them.
Since they had already secured the ground floor, they left the place effortlessly without raising any alarm.
*
Before Huo Yulin had cut off the communication, Huo Yao heard Chen Ming’s voice.
She tapped on the screen and tracked them using GPS. She watched as the red dot kept moving. Even though she ought to feel relieved, she was unable to calm down.
Since there was gunfire, her third older brother probably got hit.
Huo Yao clenched her fists, turned off the laptop, and opened the drawer beside her. It was filled with a lot of bottles.
She retrieved three bottles from her drawer and took out her acupuncture needle set before she stood up and left the villa.
After driving out of the estate, Huo Yao called Chen Ming.
Chen Ming finally answered the phone after some time. He sounded completely normal when he answered it. “Miss Huo, Young Master Yulin, and I have already left the institute.”
Huo Yao tightened her grip on the steering wheel with her eyes looking straight ahead. “Is he okay?”
Chen Ming turned to look at Huo Yulin. Huo Yulin was hardly breathing and the backseat was covered with blood. Chen Ming felt very upset just looking at him, but he did as Huo Yulin told him and kept it from Huo Yao. “Young Master Yulin is fine. Just some superficial wounds.”
Huo Yao narrowed her eyes and floored the gas. “Where is he? I’m coming over now.”
