Chapter 250 - Spectator or Gladiator
They followed behind the crowd, but many looked uncomfortable while surrounded by hundreds of NPCs.
Isaac entered the crowd and kept bumping and crashing with others.
Few shouts and angry screams came from the crowd of people, but they kept moving forwards.
While slowly moving forwards in the busy streets, Isaac heard the conversation of nearby NPCs and Players.
\'\'Do you think that it was the Gods who built the Colosseum for us?\'\' An NPC with ordinary auburn hair asked from his friend, who was walking next to him while being surrounded by hundreds of other individuals.
\'\'Not sure.\'\' His friend replied and looked towards the Colosseum in the distance, \'\'But… I wonder why anyone would risk their lives to fight there.\'\'
\'\'That\'s the point!\'\' The auburn-haired NPC shouted with excitement.
\'\'What is?\'\' His friend asked with a frown.
\'\'Apparently, the Gladiators will be blessed by the Gods, granting them immortality!\'\'
\'\'What?!\'\' His friend shouted with shock, \'\'That must be fake news!\'\'
\'\'Royal Family was the one who said it!\'\' The auburn-haired NPC shouted back and clenched his fist with excitement pouring inside his body, \'\'Apparently, no one will die while fighting, but there is some punishment for losing and great wealth for the winners!\'\'
\'\'Are you planning to participate?\'\' His friend widened his eyes in shock after understanding what his friend meant, \'\'Are you crazy?!\'\'
\'\'This is my chance!\'\' The auburn-haired man said and pointed towards the sky, \'\'One day, I will reach the famous God Realm!\'\'
\'\'Sigh…\'\' His friend shook his head, \'\'I know you have always wanted to do something important… But, this is not for you. There are monsters participating.\'\'
\'\'Legacy Carriers…\'\' The auburn-haired man muttered with slight hesitation.
The Legacy Carriers are almost like Gods to them, which made him reluctant to try to fight against them, but if he can win against one of them… His victory will be hailed everywhere in Stronglord Empire.
\'\'I will show you.\'\' He said and shouted, \'\'I will win!\'\'
His friend shook his head, and both of them had no idea that a white-haired Legacy Carrier was listening to them.
\'\'Interesting…\'\' Isaac murmured, \'NPCs can also join?\'
Soon, the crowd of people reached the area close to the Colosseum.
They could almost see the entrance already, but in front of them, tens of thousands of equally excited NPCs and Players tried to enter the Colosseum, but it was packed like sardines in a can.
While most of the NPCs and Players tried to push through others, Isaac was moving calmly forwards and managed to do so with relative ease.
But then, his ears perked up as he heard a wind brushing past his hair.
After raising his head, he noticed shadowy figures jumping over the crowd of people.
\'Assassins…\' Isaac frowned and saw how three shadowy figures were skipping most of the line, and no one had any idea because they were too busy trying to move forwards.
The three Assassins had slight grins on their faces as they saw the entrance of the Colosseum nearing.
\'Go back in line…\' Isaac opened his Interface and took three bullets from his leather pouches.
*SWOOSH*
He used his whole arm, all the way from his shoulder to the fingertips, to throw the bullets.
Once his arm moved forwards, the bullets left his hand and flew straight towards the three shadowy figures.
*Bam*
*Bam*
*Bam*
The bullets struck the three Assassins in the back, which caused them to lose their balance, which they desperately needed to keep jumping over the crowd of people.
Their bodies crashed on top of dozens of NPCs, which caused a blockage in the front of the entrance.
Their stealth disappeared, and finally, NPCs could see three individuals that were trying to skip the line.
\'\'Umm…\'\' One of the Assassins paled after getting surrounded by angry NPCs.
His two friends were also frightened.
Soon, a Guard, who was wearing heavy metal armor, left the Colosseum and stopped in front of the Assassins.
He grabbed them from their collars and started dragging them inside Colosseum.
The NPCs and Players could only hear the Assassins\' despairing screams while they were getting dragged towards the jail.
Isaac wryly smiled and didn\'t expect that to happen, \'\'Well… Deserved?\'\'
He shrugged and continued moving forwards without skipping the line.
After ten minutes of swimming through the crowd of people, Isaac entered the Colosseum through the entrance and was greeted by a large line at least one hundred meters in length.
Isaac sighed and knew that another long wait was ahead.
After another twenty minutes of waiting, only one person remained in front of Isaac before it was his turn.
\'\'Spectator or Gladiator.\'\' A man with a gladiator outfit asked at the desk like he had asked from tens of thousands before him.
\'\'Spectator.\'\' The NPC answered, and the man pointed towards the right path.
The NPC nodded and went to the right path, which led to the Spectators\' stands.
Isaac took a step forwards, and he could finally see the man properly.
Underneath his gladiator armor, explosive muscles were almost bulging through the armor.
The gladiator armor exposed quite a lot of his body, barely covering privates, and outlined perfectly his perfect muscles made for combat.
The Gladiator raised his head and widened his eyes in surprise.
Once he regained his senses, he asked, \'\'VIP, Spectator, or Gladiator?\'\'
\'\'VIP?\'\' Isaac frowned and was sure that nobody got that choice before, \'\'What is it?\'\'
\'\'VIP is for Legacy Carriers.\'\' The Gladiator replied with more respect than when he talked with NPCs, \'\'It is a special room for Legacy Carriers like you, and in there, you can choose if you want to fight at any time.\'\'
\'\'Oh.\'\' Isaac thought it sounded nice, \'\'Sure, I will choose VIP.\'\'
The Gladiator nodded and waved towards a beautiful woman wearing very exposing gladiator armor made for females.
She was wearing bikinis with a loincloth that barely covered her privates.
It might even be possible to see underneath her clothing from the side, but the beautiful woman didn\'t seem to mind that over thousand eyes were ogling at her figure.
Instead, she calmly smiled at Isaac and said, \'\'Follow me— I will show you the way.\'\'
Isaac nodded and entered the left path with her.
