Chapter 128 - 128: Adapting to Marriage Life in Advance
Fang Yuan had no intention of responding to his question. He kissed her passionately, and only after a prolonged moment did he finally break away. “Will you join me next time?” he inquired.
Fang Yuan,”…”
“Hmm?” Bo Yi began to kiss her once more. “Will you dine with me?”
Fang Yuan’s eyes widened, a playful accusation in her voice. “Bo Yi, you’re becoming more audacious by the day!”
“I reserve my audacity solely for you,” Bo Yi murmured before stealing another kiss. “In fact, I’m inclined to be even more audacious…”
Fang Yuan,”…”
“So, are you coming with me or not?” Bo Yi inquired with a hint of urgency.
Fang Yuan esponded, “It depends on my mood.”
Bo Yi grinned mischievously as he continued to shower her with affection. “And how do you feel right now?”
Fang Yuan said. “Let me down, please.”
Bo Yi, ever perceptive, seemed to grasp her desire. “It appears you’re not entirely comfortable here.”
Fang Yuan quipped, “You’ve only just noticed!”
With a mischievous glint in his eye, Bo Yi scooped her up and made his way to the staircase. “Then, let’s go somewhere else.”
Fang Yuan couldn’t help but inquire, “Where are we headed?”
Bo Yi replied with a hint of mystery, “Let’s take a little tour.”
Fang Yuan found herself carried upstairs to his bedroom. The room exuded an aura of cleanliness and spaciousness. Before the lights were switched on, she could catch a glimpse of the crescent lake through the vast floor-to-ceiling window, a sight straight out of a fairy tale.
“Yuanyuan,” Bo Yi’s voice was laden with allure. “I’d like to start acclimating to married life with you in advance.”
“. “, Fang Yuan playfully retorted, “If you dare to misbehave, I’ll be quite
cross!”
“Then, could you perhaps offer me some incentives first?” Bo Yi requested, sealing his words with a kiss. “Life moves too slowly, waiting is exhausting.”
“. ” Fang Yuan was lost in a prolonged kiss, before managing to murmur,
“Please let me down,” her feet still dangling above the floor.
Bo Yi, unrelenting, refused to release her. “You haven’t answered my question. Will you be visiting here in the future?”
Fang Yuan.”….”
Bo Yi: “Huh? Are you still coming here?”
Fang Yuan gritted her teeth before responding, “Yes.”
“Will you dine with me?” Bo Yi pressed further.
Fang Yuan, with a hint of exasperation, replied, “Yes.”
Only then did he break into a smile and gently lowered her to the ground. “Take a look out the window.”
Fang Yuan finally noticed the tranquil lake. Bathed in moonlight, the flora surrounding the lake appeared as though they belonged in a fairytale.
Bo Yi, hugging her from behind, asked, “What kind of flowers do you like? I want to make every blade of grass and every tree here to your liking.”
In doing so, perhaps she would come to appreciate this home and him even more.
“Mu Qing mentioned that girls tend to favor roses,” Bo Yi shared while gazing at the scenery outside the window. “I had initially planned to plant 99 varieties of roses before moving in, but I was afraid you might not like them.”
Fang Yuan’s heart felt a subtle warmth, like a flower gradually unfurling its petals.
“The choice of flowers and plants for our home is entirely up to you,” the man gently inquired. “Tell me, what type of flowers do you adore?”
Fang Yuan contemplated for a moment. “There isn’t a particular flower that I favor, but if I had to choose, it would probably be shrubby cinquefoil.” It wasn’t as striking as a rose, nor as austere as a plum blossom. It lacked the delicate charm of cherry blossoms…
Bo Yi whispered softly into her ear, “Do you know what shrubby cinquefoil signifies?”
Fang Yuan inquired with curiosity, “What is it?”
Bo Yi smiled and explained, “It symbolizes cherishing the person in front of you. Shrubby cinquefoil represents both beauty and happiness.” Living in a home surrounded by shrubby cinquefoil, their relationship would undoubtedly flourish.
Bo Yi continued, “What about our home? Is there anything you’d like to change?”
Fang Yuan blurted out playfully, “You. Can you promise to behave in the future?”
Bo Yi responded with a sly grin, “I’m afraid that might be a tall order.” He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her ardently. His words fell on her ears like a gentle caress. “I’m already doing my best to restrain myself.” Fang Yuan sighed and succumbed to his affections.
Meanwhile, Mu Qing had finished his dinner outside and returned to the villa. He had been waiting for quite a while, but Master Bo and Miss Fang hadn’t emerged. Glancing at his watch, he realized it was already nine in the evening. Every time Master Bo spent time with Miss Fang Yuan, he lost track of time. Mu Qing didn’t dare to rush them, so he patiently waited.
“Special Assistant Mu,” Yue Qiu approached with a warm smile, “why don’t you go inside and have a cup of hot tea? I’m afraid Sir and Madam won’t be coming out anytime soon. This time, it seems that the tension in the Old Master’s heart has finally been resolved. There’s hope for Sir’s marriage!”
In the past, Master Bo had consistently rejected any attempts to arrange a marriage with Lady Yuqi. Now, he seemed genuinely enthusiastic about his relationship with his wife.
“Uncle Qiu, did you hear? Old Master is quite fond of Miss Fang Yuan. He even gave her the family heirloom necklace.”
Yue Qiu was taken aback. He hadn’t expected the young lady to gain recognition from the Bo family at such a tender age. Marrying into the Bo family was no small feat.
“Yes, that’s the one.” Mu Qing followed Yue Qiu in. “Master Bo personally said that he won’t marry anyone but Miss Fang Yuan in this life..”
